I would suggest staying within the parameters of your budget. Most times overspending is the culprit. If you must make up for being over budget, pull from sinking funds.

I missed you. I am taking the summer off from budgeting! I am a part time tutor and I am retired. That doesn’t mean I am taking a break from you so keep those videos coming! 😆 I didn’t do well at all this fall and winter. I saved NO funds! I am planning on doing better this coming fall and will prepare in August! You are still my best budgeting motivator ❤❤❤

My weekly budgets are keeping my head on straight, but this is turning out to be one very expensive spring/summer. I need to figure out a better plan for my sinking funds - I have been saving for them just one to two months ahead. Then I hit this month, and I do NOT have the ability to save for all of June’s annual expenses by the end of May. But I have enough in savings! That’s better than we were doing this time last year, so it’s a win. I think I’ll make a full list of everything during the year and then divide the total by 26. I’ll save for the whole year at one time.
Thank you for continuing to inspire us all. It’s hard to stay motivated. But think of how far you have come!
