So truee!! I increased my prices by like $20 and yes I have a little less clientele compared to before the price change but I made ahout the SAME amount of money in a month for LESS work! (Went from 6 clients a day to 4) It was a hugeeeee relief!
and switching to a booking site is totally worth it, I am a full time university student so getting texts from literally EVERYONE was a headache and I even did confirmations by hand, at first you totally might not need it but once you get consistent clients it gets tiring and you have more time in your hands to spend with loved ones instead of being on the phone 24/7

Hello, I'm reaching out to you guys because my wife is an esthetician and has been doing lashes for over a year now, and has worked tremendously hard trying to do it on her own and become independent while also working at lash lounge. Her life is lashes and Beauty. Unfortunately she was trying to get a studio with her and her friend so they could split the cost, it's to expensive by herself right now, and she was denied being able to split. So now she is depressed and as her husband I feel really bad and I know this lash thing means a lot to her. I know times are tough right now with covid and her trying to do it from home hasn't worked very well. Anyway looking for any kind of advice to help her keep her head up and move in the right direction because I am clueless when it comes to lash/beauty industry. I know she watches you guys and I also enjoyed your guys podcast. Great stuff !! sorry for the long post! Thanks!!
Devon Remick I think it’s so sweet that your involved and wanting to help her. I think that is such great motivation and support right there from you. It is so hard to branch out on your own for the first time, just be that support for her. She will find somewhere, we recently posted a video “how to start a lash business with no money” we re did that video adding in some great tips. So if she hasn’t seen that have her watch it it may help ❤️ also with Covid it’s so hard because there are still a ton of people who haven’t gone back to getting services done. We’re rooting for her!!
LivBay Lash thank you for the response and even tho she's upset she's still very positive and there's no quit in her. I know I have so many questions about the business side of things and wish we had a mentor for that stuff but your guys videos are very helpful, sometimes its hard to see the bigger picture in the beginning.

Hi! Our artists are independent contractors so we don’t get strict with dress code. As long as it’s appropriate and presentable!
