Just try to clog your airbrush nozzle with two fingers. Hold it, press air and slowly move trigger back. Bubbles in cup will appear. It is great method to mix paint in the cup (also to clean your airbrush with pure acetone). Also it is better to pour thinner first. Thin paint may clog nozzle before it will be mixed with thinner.

You can get an even better clean if you put the cap back on and put your finger over the spray tip. It will cause it to bubble up inside the well and clean it. Great set btw!

It seems easier to mix in a dampen dish and use a pippet to get the polish in the gun. This way, it's mixed better and no risk if bristles breaking off in the gun and less damage to the brush itself.

This was hella creative! My only suggestion is to use gel polish thinner instead of acetone. It won’t compromise the quality of the tip this way. You could also use acrylic paint and thinner bc it dries fast and wont give you any issues under a top coat when you cure! 💙

Acetone can also change the color of the polish over time, I’ve seen this happen with shops that are trying to “extend” their gel polish… it’s not pretty.

No not at all. You’d have to soak the tip in pure acetone for it to dissolve. I use method o my press on nails all the time and they’re pure plastic.

Hey there. I think you can buy replacement needles on Instagram. If you twist the back of the pen and disassemble it you can insert a new needle that way.

That’s a good question. I’m afraid I can’t answer that. What brand of gel polish are you using? And are you sure it’s pure acetone?
So you used a base color first...dud you wipe the sticky layer first before airbrushing?

There should be a metal piece that you can twist towards the back of your airbrush pen. That controls how much air flows through it.

Mine does not have that but I assume so. Acetone damages most rubbers and plastics

Hey there! May I ask why would you want to apply builder gel? If anything spears or smudges, you’d probably need to cure again at least for 60 seconds. In my opinion, you may want to apply builder gel before any polish/design

U use gel polish and acetone? I used it once and it became sticky inside so there was no way to clean it.
Well gel polish is sticky after it cures or left out for a certain amount of time so to clean it, use acetone let it sit for a while inside of the cup and then spray to clean out the excess polish in the pen

Thank you for this video! I went ahead and ordered one off Amazon and it’ll be here tomorrow! Is it recommended for me to spray overtop a gel polish base with or without the tacky layer removed? Do you recommend tack or tack free top coat?
You dont have to remove the tacky layer. I didn’t. The topcoat is up to you I prefer no wipe topcoat. Less work for me

When i try to do this with my airgun, i cure my diluted gel polish (with acetone or alcohol), it doesnt cure properly when i put it in the UV lamp. Meaning it smudges when i put on top Coat. Tips welcomed.
Hey I’m sorry I’m just now reading your comment. I’m not sure what can possibly be going on. What brand of gel polish are you using? How long are you curing the nail? Also be sure to wear a mask while operating your airbrush machine. The fumes from diluted gel polish can be harmful so make sure you take precaution.

Yes it would. Now the psi I wouldn't know bc it's a small machine but it should work but you may need to seal with a sealer, whatever your painting that's metal

How do you make those rhinestone stay there? like when you apply those press ons on your nails the stone just comes off. Because the press ons are flexible. Tried everything but still the stone just comes off. Pls help.

I’ve tried this with acetone and doesn’t dry in the machine. I’ve tried less acetone, more acetone and nothing works…
How long are you curing the gel polish? Remember gel polish stays sticky so if you’re worrying about the tacky layer after you sure the polish, that’s normal.
The acetone didnt make the gel poilsh thats already on nails peel faster

How about doing it on real fingernaiils? So how we avoid putting on the clients skin?
You can use lash tape to tape around the fingers or you can just wipe the fingers clean. It’s not hard! Good luck!

Yes ma’am. You are probably holding the airbrush a little too close and you probably need to put a little bit more acetone in your mix

I bought an airbrush max from igel, after receiving the product I found out that the compressor makes weird noise when I’m turning it on, it vibrates every other second even when it wasn’t being used, so I recorded a video of the vibration and asked if the vibration was normal or not, they said this was abnormal and wanted me to return the product, after they receiving the product, they told me the vibration was normal again, if I want it back I had to pay $27 for the shipping. I was like why didn’t you guys tell me it was normal after seeing the video that I’ve sent? Plus the whole thing took like a month, I had live chat with them so many time just asking for a return shipping label, and asking if they could help me cause I really needed an airbrush to work with. This was the worse experience ever!!!

@@kouturenailbar Cause I really needed one airbrush so I paid for the shipping. Just received the new airbrush today. It DOES NOT have the vibration issue like the last one at all. Can’t believe they been telling me ALL their airbrushes make this kind of noises just to avoid paying for the shipping? Why can’t they just admit there was some issues with the airbrush I sent back? Its only $26 won’t hurt the company at all. Its not worth it to lose a customer, I could have bought more products from them. :(
