This is the difference now. I'm a 6'4" guy with decent looks. Girls look at me a lot. Like a lot. Maybe they are objectifying. Maybe it is just because I am tall and look different. In English culture here in Britain it's an unspoken and well understood thing to not to stare at a woman for more than 3 seconds, otherwise it is taken rude. Infact in London tubes where mostly people from different countries commute have posts and notices not to stare at woman or it can be taken as sexual assault.This may sound extreme to many but I being a man with the looks and on peak often get stared by women and that makes me uncomfortable. All of sudden a girl came on Scooty and stood in a different queue, because I was standing in the last I got good vantage point to look at everyone at petrol pump. I agree about the difference in the masculine and feminine psychology & mindsets however women also have pretty high libido and in many cases I have found that women has much higher libido than a man's. Sir over the years I have studied many Philosophies Krishnamurti, Nietsche, Schopenhaur, Kant, Osho etc. So here is my thoughts - the things which you talk about male and female nature, rich and poor. Nietsche talked about "going beyond", he was saying be an Ubermensch means Superman, ofcourse not the superhero one. Means going beyond your primitive nature. Very similar I found in Upnishads that primitive nature is not much of an importance. We urge for lust, desire constant pleasure, they are not bad but not good. They have no value to as our hormones are dictating our self and we don't even realize it and we give so much importance of our primitive nature. The very same thing animals are doing in nature but when we humans do it, we call "divine", see how we celebrate Marriage, childbirth, and how we honor when someone died.
Humans think they are very important is because of the ego. We think lust and pleasure are very important. Humans are in urge for permanent happiness which is not possible. Sadness and happiness are part of life and no one has any control over that. Then we give so much importance to happiness and hate sadness. We also dont like loneliness because we never want to face who we are. Krishnamurti talked about finding out we are. "Self-Knowledge" is to understand who am I and the world.

It's not about denial of basic male instincts but how well one can control them. That's what makes a healthy society. Social norms maybe confusing or misunderstood, but they're built over a long time for the sake of a civilised society. Lets assume a world where men don't control their instincts. What good can one expect? Secondly, in my opinion, being closed about instincts on a societal level is much better than talking openly about it. If people accept that their instincts are valid and acknowledge them, its more likely that they persue them because not all the people in a society can philosophically differentiate these fine lines. It will give them a permission to act upon their instincts because its natural. The very fabric of society will be demolished.
