I just want to say how brilliant it was to mix the SR388 surface theme in there given that SRX is supposed to recreate the planet's conditions. If they ever remake Fusion, they should totally do that.
That little bit of the SR388 motif adds a bit of Melancholy to the whole thing. You got to see SR388 as this beautiful, if violent, ecosystem. Now you stand in a mockery of a dead world.
At long last... it's here.... And it's FUCKING incredible.... Amazing work dude! Those droning synths mixed with the emotional piano melody and other additions really just bring this remix into it's own. My god and the addition of Surface of SR388 is genius.

This has been so worth the wait! An amazing fusion of the amazing soundtrack that is Metroid Fusion with the sound font and motifs of Metroid Prime. And honestly, I apologize for that pun because it literally explains the music perfectly and there's no other word to describe this masterpiece among the other Sectors, which are in themselves masterpieces too. So amazing.
Excellent work. I didn't have the highest hopes going into this video (first of yours I've seen), but you did a great job actually combining the two sounds, not just doing a basic remix. You've pleased a Metroid fan.
These are all so amazing! Have you thought of doing others from the soundtrack? I think Facing a Huge Reaction, Arachnus Theme, Serris's Theme, Environmental Mystery, Crisis Mission, Environmental Intrigue, and Final Mission would all be good candidates.
I have indeed! I'm releasing all the sector themes as an album soon (gotta wait on licensing), and I've already broken the rest of the soundtrack into splits for 2 additional albums' worth of Metroid Fusion remixes :)

Unfortunately no, the Metroid Fusion remixes can't be licensed because there's been no US release of the soundtrack, so I can't put them on streaming services. The remix album is available for donations on my bandcamp though if you'd like to download this and the 6 other sector themes!

Almost everything I produce comes out at 24 bit 48khz, unless a client needs something else :)
