Unfortunatelty I thought this video was going to show me how to transfer all photos and videos to icloud but it did not. I aleardy have my settings as displayed in the video and my phone is still saying iphone storage full when i try to save new edited videos. I think iphone just sucks on purpose. iCloud uploads your photos automatically you can’t pick and choose what you want to upload and it take time to do it so like if you just bought iclouds storage it could take a week for all you shit to get uploaded.

You can’t it stoopid af. But you can turn on optimize storage and it will save a shit ton of storage for you which should never fill up and ICloud will store the photos for you freeing up the space. Just make sure to keep dat icloud subscription. An alternative is to upload photos to your computer and then delete them off your iPhone where they will be on your computer. Or you can use Google Photos and back up all your photos and then delete them on your iPhone freeing up all your storage. It will take a few hours but make sure to do it before June 1st because then you will have to pay for more storage like ICloud.

Robert Howard I think it separates it and stores it for free so it doesn’t count against your storage plan because this would weigh heavy against your iCloud storage plan.

I went to the Apple store and they told me that there is no way to store videos on the cloud after deleting them off of your phone unless you disconnect your phone from the cloud and keep it disconnected because iCloud creates a backup of what is on your phone

@@mahmedm nah bro if Google photos doesn't even take up that space if you save it in 'high quality' mode UNLESS you save the photos/vids in 'original quality' which will take up space . From my usage I don't see a problem with 'high quality' mode and usually can't tell the difference and I get unlimited storage for my pics/vids too so that's a plus

Sorry, but you can’t. Your photos and videos stored in iCloud are a mirror of the iPhone local photos, meaning when you delete from the phone they’ll get deleted from the Cloud as well. Use the tip I show to Optimize storage on the iPhone. That’ll help.

In my humble opinion I think using iCloud Sucks because there’s an extra cost every month 0.99 for 50gb 2.99 for 200gb and 9.99 for 2tb I see this as a hidden fee or surplus fee. Yes up front it looks good notice I said looks good down the road not so much is a bill on top of your cell phone bill it adds up the cost of owing a cell phone. I don’t care how anyone might justify apples iCloud monopoly but most of us iPhone users would love to see our iPhone have a removable micro sd card that would give us the freedom to do what we need to do and the cost is less and lot of people want to pay less not more. If iCloud Photos is turned on and all your photos and videos are uploaded, they are all saved in the cloud.
Also if you have a Mac your photos are copied to the Photo app as well.

yeah you get 28days before they delete your data so you can download them in those 28 days

iCloud is a life saver for me, especially for iPhones with 64gb or less. Would recommend 50gb plan!

hey! my question is that are photos gonna be canceled in iCloud photos automatically after a while or only if I touch the icloud on my Mac and delete myself? (or, my phone I guess). so i do not have to download those photos from iCloud Photos and worry about them being canceled after certain days? thanks!!!

They are not on your phone, you won’t be able to access them, if u don’t have Internet, so everytime u look at photos on ur phone, that r already in the cloud, ur just viewing a download

Okay… but. I have both those settings on- iCloud Storage is checked and optimize is also checked. I have over a terabyte of data free in my cloud. Why is my phone still saying too full, and not allowing me to sync with iCloud?

@@DanielAboutTech What she means is her setting are as you mentioned in the video, however it still doesnt allow her and myself to do anything and the message of phone memory being full continues and doesnt allow us to even use our apps. In fact the area where it says icloud photos says 1% as if it began the process of moving to icloud but is and the % will not move

I actually, saved all the info on my phone to my external hard drive, (although the hp I have wont read any of it) and called Apple and they rebooted my phone entirely wiping out everything. Hoping the app I downloaded on my hp will allow me to open up those photos etc. Again thanks for checking in.

Question. Now I want to remove my pictures from my iphone and put them in folders to get printed, and remove them from my iphone. What is your suggested way to do this? Can I do that from icloud? or do I need to upload them to a program like drop box to do that. When I connect my phone to transfer them to my laptop only a small sampling of them appear. I'm sooo confused! Thanks for the video, glad I watched. I too thought that icloud was a backup and they would be stored there forever! Help!

I bought 50 GB can but I can't enable Icloud because it tells me I have 70 GB of photos, do I need to but 200GB? or can I just transfer 50 GB of my photos and videos to Icould?
In my humble opinion I think using iCloud Sucks because there’s an extra cost every month 0.99 for 50gb 2.99 for 200gb and 9.99 for 2tb I see this as a hidden fee or surplus fee. Yes up front it looks good notice I said looks good down the road not so much is a bill on top of your cell phone bill it adds up the cost of owing a cell phone. I don’t care how anyone might justify apples iCloud monopoly but most of us iPhone users would love to see our iPhone have a removable micro sd card that would give us the freedom to do what we need to do and the cost is less and lot of people want to pay less not more. hi, i already bought 200gb storage but why the backup one is more which is 80gb . is it important fir that bacckup? because i just planned to store photos in icloud
my iphone storage is 64gb. i purchased the 2tb icloud storage plan. it is still telling me that my iphone storage is full even tho i have 2tb worth of storage and not even half of my icloud storage is used up. it doesn’t make sense.
