I think I just had my first 'Big O' in a very long time...listening to this Album..Genius ..Soundsmiths are the Duo of Chicane & So ate those French Dudes too..DaftPunk
Chicane you may not read this.... a few months ago I went through a huge depression where I wanted to kill myself and then I found this album. I had heard other songs from you but never listened to the whole album. This album was like me being reborn again. Many people think music don’t matter in real life but it does. It saved my life and it made me seek help. Thank you ❤️ greeting from Veracruz , Mexico!
I'm very sorry even though I don't know you, I'm glad your still here💓🙏... I suffer with depression I've also tried before, and I know I feel your pain. When I listen to chicane I feel so relaxed , and at peace it's amazing!!!!
Music has save my life too. Walking in the sky by DJ encore has save me many times. I struggle with bipolar so I know my tough times won't last but yeah its so weird isn't that we like such uplifting music when we constantly go thru depression, a friend once explain it to me that I love happy music because I'm constantly depressed
You know what, I haven't been in as deep a hole as that, but I totally get what you're saying. There's something about this album that is such a mixture of energy and melancholia. A masterpiece in my opinion.
my friend ... hold strong .... chicane has travelled the world with me .... far far far off grid ... been in places and experiences few could ever dream of ... the stories i could tell lol ... always got chicane in my ears my soul my aura
when i woke up i was riding a rock skipping across water cloud but before i stopped and began to sink i leapt up fiercely and caught a low cloud diving down to save me; just one-handed and with a smile i truly was saved and now i ride ever thankful for unexpected waking dreams...this album inspired
Hah!! I don't think so..they are EDM Trendsetters...I bet if any of the superstar DJ'S truthfully admit to inspiration I will say that these legends are so fricking high in their lists of masterclass music making and soundsmithing it would be totally unreal ...😎..Everyone after Chicane abd standing on the shoulders of GIANTS😎
What do you expect from a world where reguetón is not only considered music but always on top of the charts... most people doesn't have a taste for music
This album has that vibe when you’re driving at night and roll down the window and fell the wind on your face and hair and the only noise is the rush of wind and other cars and neon lights
Just bought and sent this album as a CD to the UK for my Mum's birthday - she will be 89! I know for a fact she will love it. I play it a heck of a lot and I know she will too. :)
Definitely way cheesier than his earlier outings, however it's really grown on me over the past few days. I agree with the point regarding the vocals - Chicane has historically used less vocals, which works for me as they can so often take away from the amazing chord progression and melodies happening in the background. Well done for tackling the Paul Young and Gary Numan covers, which both actually work in my book.

wont hold a candle to far from the maddening crowds and behind the sun... but so far out to sea can still serve as a reminder of his older work
PURE GENIUS

Reading the comments here is so sad. Already two years gone by. And then it'll be five, ten. Time is the worst enemy.
