Hey Floss. I just switched from the Moto 360 to the Galaxy Gear S. This S is tough!!! I never would have considered it if wasn't for your review. The Moto 360 I have is now on Ebay. Im a "tech head" just like you and enjoy rocking the newest items and I can honestly say that FLOSS FACTOR IS NOW ON 100! Keep up the good work.
Samsung is really going all out. I see you're still rocking the previous watches. I like how samsung always has something news coming out every year. I can't wait for when they come out with phones that curve. I saw a preview of Samsung ' s future devices. Now that's technology at it's finest.
These watch is a definite go, just worked out, left the phone in the car and hooked up the bluetooth headphones straight to the watch and listened to music no problem, this phone is definitely impressive!!!!! Great review as always Floss, thanks for convincing me to get it, i was on the fence at first
Got mine Friday too! This is a game changer! Left my phone in the car, went to the movies with my daughter, got calls and text messages from my phone while in the movies! Your phone automatically forwards calls and texts when the Gear S is out of range. Bananas!!! I'm using the Note 4 with this. Unlike Floss, I don't miss the camera on it like the Gear 2 had, but he is on point once again folks! Definite win! Can't wait for the review Floss! If you ain't suscribed to Floss you ain't no Boss!

I'm confused...since you put a separate number on the watch, you say it could stand alone...but do you still need the phone use it effectively (and get all the features out of it)? I think what I'm trying to say is I was thinking this could effectively completely replace the Galaxy Note II that I have? If this had the ability to use a WiFi hotspot then I could just take my iPad along rather than worry about depleting my phone's battery so quickly.
I believe you recently stated that you're still rocking your Gear S? I'm trying to connect it to my Z Fold and my Ultra Duece Duece but I'm getting a disheartening pop up. My Gear 2 is not connecting either! Please don't tell that I'm not able to Floss(ie) the best two watches in the lone up.

Great initial review Flossy Carter Nothing beats this Wrist Watch Communicator it's in a league of it's own. The Rufus Cuff and Neptune Pine are in the Same ballpark otherwise Android Wear is a total Joke compared to the Gear S.

Oh I want this... It really looks boss! The Gear and the Gear 2 look kinda tiny in comparison (I have the Gear, and I really like it, especially the notifications, but I need to upgrade!). But this watch on the strength of ur review and I am glad I did. I've had so long now I need a new battery. Only getting 13 hrs use on a charge. No one in Dallas TX is willng to work on it. Have u replaced the battery and if so can u recommend someone?

Great video and very helpful! With my work not letting me have a camera phone onsite I personally think that its awesome that the Gear S doesnt have a camera! Now I don't have to worry about buying a smartphone and not being able to have it at work or buying a dumb phone and not having any cool features. With this I'd be able to keep my smartphone and just have the watch on while at work so I dont miss any important calls. Totally gonna pick up one of these puppies shortly!
