This has to be the best Riddler I’ve seen. He’s so different yet feels like the Riddler. What I like about this Riddler is that he is like a foil to Batman: both are considered vengeance, have hatred over corruption, and are orphans put through lots of trauma. The key difference is that Riddler embraces vengeance and goes too far with his goals, while Batman did not give in to vengeance and is now trying to give people hope. Edward is what Bruce would’ve become if he didn’t have Alfred or give in to vengeance.
Sadly, they didn't use Riddler, IN THAT OUTFIT, as much as they should've. And HE was the main villain! Still, it was a great movie. 🦇❔ [EDIT] Had I directed it, I would've had Riddler follow Bats everywhere. Stalking him. Taking notes from the shadows only a few feet away! Everyone in the theater would've lost their minds thinking he could get THAT CLOSE!!
I thought it was interesting how Riddler was in the costume for most of the film until he killed Falcone. It adds in the suspense on what he really looks like (them knowing who he is was more of an afterthought).
