I love how Batman and even the Batmobile are basically horror monsters when it comes to the villains perspective. This movie has my favorite Batman opening, and my favorite Batmobile reveal. The movie has such a tone and pace that is never lost in the entire runtime. I loved it so much, and the cinematography was beautiful.
Right?! I thought the same thing! It was so fun and beautiful to look at! It felt like they took influenced sets from the dark knight movies and the cinematography from Joker and ELEVATED IT TO A 10! For once I was drawn and glued to the character study of Batman the same way everyone gravitated towards joker and villains in general for the last few years. For once the Hero was exciting and interesting AGAIN! He had so much depth and I legit already wanna watch this movie again
Yes! I definitely enjoyed the psychological horror angle the film had to it along with the noir, very engaging! The way Bruce is shown as he’s seen by others, it helps you as an audience member understand why he’s so controversial and misunderstood

This Batman movie felt the most down to earth and realistic of the series so far. I could feel the depression of the Gotham, and the riddler really gave the impression of being serial killer.
I could actually feel Bruce's depression. They keyed the soundtrack when he was sad which had an overwhelming amount of malincaly, and deep somber of despair ultimately expelling those feelings out of you while robert performed.
In a sense, this really was an origin story for batman, because he learned to get over the death of his parents and become something that they could truly be proud of. Not a vigilante beating thieves to a pulp, but a hero, inspiring people and giving them hope
@@pyro4118 yeah, I also think Batman has not overcome the death of his parents in the end, but like Nate said I believe he saw himself as more than a vigilante and became a hero in the end.
This encapsulates finely what is felt. This is embarkment of The Batman, his calling and clasp of his dedication to the horn that summons his vigilence and protection of Gotham. To witness the corruption, of the city, instrospect and re-discover the redemption his Father and Mother allowing him to see his neccesity as not only the known Prince of Gotham.. but also the Guardian, a beacon of hope. Thank you
There was nothing more batman than that opening scene with the thugs getting scared of dark corners and everything around them as soon as the bat signal went up
After watching that scene, I was fully convinced thru the film this was gonna honor Batman in the best way. And after leaving the theatre, my mind all day was *I'm Vengeance*
It was fantastic! They absolutely killed it with this opener. One of the best opening scenes I have seen in a long time. I really like how they managed to open and close the movie.
At 36, I don't think I've ever seen a movie twice in theatres. Especially not one that's three hours long. But I look forward to seeing this again, and the soundtrack is definitely something I will be paying attention to digest. Excellent, excellent movie. I grew up watching The Animated Series and this film hit all notes. The Nolan trilogy was great, but this is the one for me. And as someone who has watched LOST multiple times, I realize how much Giacchino's score can elevate a production.
Go see it again in IMAX. I'm on my 4th viewing and I really am considering a 5th before The Batman has concluded it's theatrical run. The theater experience was euphoric.
Same here. The last time I attended a film (in the cinema) twice was 'Trainspotting', in 1996. But, yes, I can now count 'The Batman' in this élite-group of 'twice seen' films.
2:20 We have a signal now. ...for when I’m needed. But when that light hits the sky... It’s not just a call. It’s a warning. To them... Fear. ...is a tool. They think I’m hiding in the shadows. Watching... Waiting to strike... But I am the shadows.
The soundtrack helped elevate this movie to unparalleled levels. It had this creeping sense of dread which left you in a permanent state of unease. A nihilistic masterpiece.
32:30 The batmobile start-up sequence in this movie will be forever engraved in history as one of the most cinematically ominous and badass scenes in all of film. Found the actual startup sound here too: ua-cam.com/video/uBSS1-RNwPA/v-deo.html
When I first looked at the photo, I admit I was disappointed because it didn't look like a batmobile, more like a tricked out ride. When I was in the theaters, I was not disappointed; I was terrified.
@@DOT107 how powerful is this scene that no one laughed in the teather, I feel we where all mesmerized by the sound and visuals we just didnt have enough time to comprehend that funny moment.
The best Batman Movie I have seen. The Music, the tension, the acting, the way it flowed, the action, all the way around. And I went in not expecting much and I came out stunned. I could not take my eyes off the screen and now I can't stop listening to this.
It was the best movie that has ever been made and the greatest artistic achievement in western civilization. Maybe the greatest achievement in all of human history.
That was one of the BEST Batman films EVER. LOVED it. In IMAX, it was even greater. The cinematography, Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, the great performers who gave their all, and now this powerhouse of a score! I needs me some complete soundtrack on CD soon!
What I loved about this movie is how Gotham City felt so real and scary. It was so realistic and gritty, so dark. I felt depressed watching at how terrible and messed up this city is
I am so glad I saw this movie in the cinema. I loved Christian Bale in the previous trilogy, but Robert Pattinson was absolutely brilliant. I believe this is the best Batman movie that has ever been shown on the big screen.
I've watched it probably 20 times (not all the way thru but as I fall asleep I leave it on, I normally don't make it past the scene where he drops out of the police building lol
I can't wait to get a physical copy of this movie, I don't think I've bought a physical movie copy for myself in like 10 years. It's that amazing to me
Same, I’ve also considered getting it on blu ray once it’s out! I would love to watch a commentary feature from the director, it would be so interesting
To describe this film in words would require a tremendous amount of writing. I would probably need about 4000 words to express everything I felt. The visuals, the music, everything was wonderful. The only thing I can say is that "I met the Batman I wanted to see".
After you watch the movie you get totally hooked to the soundtrack. Just brilliant. Dark. Those bells ringing in between gives sucha gothic feel to it.

@@joshheralal8758 He abandons his responsibilities as a Wayne, and in doing so lets his family's legacy decay. Not to mention the fact that he's operating primarily through fear as a way to deal with his rage; by the end he learns he has to change his approach.
Throughout the movie in the cinema, i feel like I am the Batman and Bruce Wayne. I just can...FEEL the terrible feelings and depression of this person.
It all began in the late 1980s with Danny Elfman's iconic theme for Batman, and in the 1990s we were blessed with Elliot Goldenthal's brilliant score for Batman Forever. Hans Zimmer took the music for the Dark Knight to a whole new level with his score for Batman Begins in the 2000s, and offered an even darker but equally fascinating version for Batman v Superman in the 2010s. It is now the 2020s, and Mr Michael Giacchino continues the legacy of never having a bad Batman score by offering us this masterpiece. From now on, he shall be known as one of the greats!
Also Shirley Walker and Nick Arundel, among others. TAS and Arkham are the greatest adaptations of the Batman franchise in general, and nailed their soundtracks. But Elfman's the best composer imo
This soundtrack is amazing and was utilized perfectly throughout the film. If you want to become a film maker The Batman joins the list of movies to study.
33:34 is my absolute favorite most instense and awesome and memorable part of the soundtrack. At least for the action scenes. Terrific soundtrack. Incredible sound design. As an audio engineer, I can really appreciate all the hard work behind this marvellous results. Just outstanding! *Chefskiss*
100% agreed. The choice for this during that particular scene was, musically, the antithesis of what I'm used to seeing (being intentionally vague b/c spoilers), but it worked sooooooo well.
I just watched this movie earlier and the emotions I felt in the cinema were unreal. This soundtrack helped in elevating those emotions and I'm now addicted to listening to these songs and to Nirvana.
@@mosescuh3644 I, a Batman fan like you and a fellow person that respects other people's opinions, declare you to break your one rule just this once and show this person and the other's the truth and give this movie Justice or should I say, Vengeance.
I thought this was going to be a gritty and dark film, but it did have a comic book feel to it. Not nearly as dark as i was expecting. About on the same level as Bvs,S Dawn of Justice
Went during the day with a nice overcast with a bit of a drizzle, came out and the temperature had dropped drastically, relaxing at home now listening to the soundtrack and the rain hitting my roof accompanied by gentle thunder 😙🤌 perfect
It was a movie worth watching more than once , i watched it twice already .. Music was the most beautiful thing ever and it really lend itself to make this masterpiece of a movie into something that will remembered for a long time until the next batman 2 , i hope. I was a big fan of Nirvana in my teens , Something in the way was one of my fave tracks and I realised that it was so beautifully weaved into some of the scores in the soundtracks , try singing it.. It was the most realistic version of batman , don't get me wrong Nolan's batman was epic , but this.. this brought out so much ...never did felt the sense of human vulnerability in the others as I did for Bruce here, the movie showed that it was never black and white , what the riddler did and what the bat did Ave maria brought in the sense of dread whenever it was on and so deliciously scary . The theme for bat and the cat showed bat's loneliness and how he was drawn to cat girl , their longing for someone , it was heart wrenching to see her go and he had to move on alone again .
@@mocha7902 I get that, I meant Pattinson as an actor was not that great as Bruce. Dunno if the face, that hair or whatever. He was amazing on Tenet, had some expectations here for him playing Bruce.
@@Lucas-vd2gx pattinson and reeves said that in this movie bruce is having a conflict with between being the batman and bruce wayne. He wants to be vengeance and he thinks being bruce wayne won’t help, at the end of the movie he said he needs to be something else and maybe it means he’s gg to do more as bruce wayne. Remember the mayor said he could be doing more for the city? maybe after they settle the flood issue, he’ll start being the bruce wayne that we know.
Great point. Never thought of it that way. Something that feels so fresh and new right now will become nostalgia. I agree, this will have a strong tug on my heart strings 10 years from now. I don’t remember the last time I left a theatre so wow’d by a movie.
The Ridller was amazing, but not as BATMAN!! This is the great difference between this movie and TDK where Joker is remembered as BIGGER than the main hero!!!
I just saw it again last night and this sound track is so haunting! The score literally set the tone for this film. Giacchino nailed it! Nolan's TDK set the bar so high and this new batman did a phenomenal job by taking this film to a completely different approach!
Completely agree, but extremely disappointed with the casting of The Joker. I guess time will tell but I don't honestly think he is capable of reaching the bar Ledger & Phoenix have set. Maybe I'll change my tune after a second watch, but honestly, other than realising that the movie was over his performance was the only disappointing moment for me.
*I loved in the end Batman beeing the light that guides the people. More than fear or revenge, but a symbol of hope. The fear is for the villains, Gotham's people needs hope.*
The director Matt Reeves absolutely nailed Batman, the style, the mood and the look. More Batmans from this man as he is making films for the graphic novels fans as opposed to the movie public. 10/10. Great sound track.
@Vengeance If you removed batman from the film. It would not have changed the outcome of events. He did not do anything. He was the most useless hero ever.
There is a lot of things I like about this film and I'm quite excited with how they'll continue to develop this Batman. 1. I really like how they portrayed Gotham, giving it a great sense of unease with it's dark, run down, and neglected atmosphere and visualization. 2. I like the constant reminders of how Bruce's absence mattered. We heard this from Alfred, Bella, and the Riddler throughout the film; and with the film solely focusing on Batman and brooding Bruce, I'm looking forward to see them developing Bruce with his lighter and sociable public persona to his dark vigilante persona. 3. The fact that this is more in touch of the detective aspect of Batman. 4. This Batman is still a bit inexperienced, so I'm looking forward to him being developed more with better insight to approaching certain scenarios, and planning. Like in many scenes in this film he just walk straight into firearm trying to tank it with his bullet proof suit, but it also nearly cost him his life at one point. 5. His conviction to no guns and the just way. 6. Catwoman.
This Batman is a tour de force! They got the look, tone, angst and dread right, and Giacchino's themes and tracks really hit all the right notes. I didn't think I could look past Zimmer's but what can I say? They even managed to sneak in all your little childhood toy Batmobile, Penguin's Car and Catwoman's Bike on screen
I have really loved the great job that Mr. Giacchino has done with this soundtrack. The themes convey beauty, a certain poetry, but also terror, fear, and the Batman theme conveys that grandiose heroic air. I am grateful that Giacchino has taken up the more classical and orchestral airs and has moved away from the electronic trends that have marked the themes of Batman in recent years. Personally, the soundtrack reminds me a lot of Shirley Walker's work on BTAS and I really love that. I really hope that the movie is a great success and we can have a new saga of this Batman.
My daughter bought me the Blu-ray for Father's Day....watched it last night....absofuckinlutely stunning!!!.....just how Year One/Two should be.....am hooked......💙
I really dont mean to direspect toward Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy but i have to admit that this (Matt Reeves Batman starring by Robert Pattinson) is the figure of Batman that i have been dreaming for a long time.No words can describe this film.Im super excited!!!!!
i enjoy nolan's version of it because it's a side of batman that everyone wanted to see. Now people have been wanting a more gothic grounded detective and that's what we're finally gonna get. I can't wait to watch it too
Let’s wait not only to see this film but also see if it stands the test of time. The Dark Knight is simply Nolan’s take on the subject material. I enjoy seeing many different interpretations as long as the core themes are present and the work is high quality and passionately presented.
Watched this movie with my big brother and I’ll never forget It. A memory we can keep forever together. I wouldnt trade for anything money nothing. That’s so powerful. To do something you love with the people you love. I wish that on everyone despite your background or what you believe in or your color. Do what you love With the people you love. And Hold onto those memories forever. Stay safe and continue pushing out here. Help others care for others. Care and love yourself. Also. It inspired me to pursue acting/directing because I wanna give back what movies have given to me. One day-7
I expect nothing less from the man behind the soundtrack of most of the Medal of Honor games and the Incredibles. This soundtrack feels similar to the MoH games.
I love the fact that he actually acknowledges that he can’t be everywhere at once and must pick his targets carefully. No Batman has done that before. We only see them fighting crime and it makes it feel as if the crimes he’s fighting are the only ones happening at the time because that specific part is highlighted. Robert is THE BATMAN ! IMO it’s better than tdk.
Everyone’s gonna compare the Batman’s, but in my opinion there’s no need. Nolan’s trilogy was epic and Dark Knight is arguably the greatest superhero movie ever, but this rendition was great in a whole new way. Hans Zimmers soundtrack was insanely amazing and legendary for Nolan’s Batman but man this score is fantastic in its own right. Made the movie in my opinion. Really set the tone for this darker Batman. The gong like beat of the trumpets feels like an almost undertaker-Esque vibe of impending doom. Amazing.
The Batman was an incredible movie, loved the amazing cinematography, story, Michael Giacchino’s soundtrack was perfect, the opening scene leading to the Batman reveal was absolute perfection. Robert Pattinson and Paul Dano stole the show as Batman and Riddler, excited for the sequel.
01:40:57 Goosebumps for the theme of Catwoman...I'm sure it was inspired by Michel Legrand a touch of Angelo Badalamenti and a dash of John Barry EDIT : I made a mashup of the theme of Catwoman and sycamore tree from Twin Peaks here ua-cam.com/video/pW9NCxhbwvE/v-deo.html
I got major John Barry vibes too, particularly the "Did You Call Me?" suite from The Specialist that served as May's theme. Just like with that one, Catwman's theme conveys that same sense of sultry, mysterious sexiness.
@@brandoncooper2909 you said it all. Giacchino has done a sublime job, in some tracks we can also hear the typical Angelo Badalamenti double bass...I'll try to make a mashup of the Catwoman theme and Sycamore tree sung by Jimmy Scott from the Twin peaks OST
This soundtrack is so "simple" (sort to say, that's the way I perceive it) and yet so traping. I loved this move and it's soundtrack simply kept me on the edge of my seat, and that's something no movie had done to me in a long while.
The main theme is borrowed from the two chords of Nirvana's "Something in the Way" (of course a big inspiration for the tone in the movie as well as featuring in the movie itself)
Actually in one of the TV spots he says "They think I am hiding in the shadows, watching, waiting to strike, but I am the shadows." I believe it was cut due to long runtime.
it's the greatest film I have ever seen. If Heath Ledger was the best Joker ever then Pattinson is the best Batman ever hands down. You can feel the pain of Bruce Wayne like never before.
I had high expectations but once I saw the movie I couldn’t believe how low those expectations were The movie was freaking incredible This is my fav Batman and we need moreee reeves is such a legend
All that stuff was great, but the story was weird. Expected to see Batman, the world's greatest detective. Batman did almost nothing in the movie but provide answers to riddles and help the riddler win.
Agreed got back from seeing it and it was if not my favourite batman movie of all time and Paul Dano did an incredible job as the riddler and even gave me heath ledger joker vibes at times.
@@passedOutpete I was pumped for this movie for 2 years. I wasn't disappointed albeit there was a couple of scenes which were redundant. But I liked Matt Reeves' vision and direction overall.
You can tell he spent time listening to Danny Elfman's score from Batman '89 at places like 01:23:22. Right there I almost expected to hear the first 5 notes of Elfman's motif.
Ngl I can’t remember when but there was one part in the movie that reminded me of nightmare before Christmas and I somehow forgot that Michael was doing the soundtrack and I thought ‘oh that’s probably because Danny Elfmann did the soundtrack for the Batman as well as nightmare before Christmas’ and the thing is I knew that Michael was the one doing the soundtrack but I just somehow forgot.

This movie… I just can’t describe how amazing it was. I cried so much in the beginning of the movie.. not because it was sad but because it’s so… Batman!! It is and will always will be the best Batman movie (unless Matt reeves surprises us again which I’m sure he will!) the way this movie interpreted Batman in the beginning and in the end just made me understand his pain and what he’s going on in his mind. This.. this is what Batman is all about! Never in a day in my life would I not think about this masterpiece. Well done Matt Reeves… well done.. 🦇♥️♥️
Just went to see this movie. I sat there almost motionless for 3 hours lost in the beauty of everything this movie had to offer. Now after seeing it all I can hear is this haunting soundtrack. I had to listen to it again. Dum dum dum dum.
I'm gonna just say it.....this batman and the two Michael Keaton batman are the best. Dark knight after that. I was shocked how much I enjoyed this one. Had the tone of the batman animated series. Loved everything about it.
A Bat in the Rafters Part II is my favourite piece in the entire score. The entire sequence at Gotham Square Garden is one of the greatest set pieces I've seen in any film in years, but the inclusion of that music, with the addition of those screeching horns and rattling violins, made it even more overwhelmingly intense and powerful than I could have possibly imagined.

This Batman movie felt the most down to earth and realistic of the series so far.
I could feel the depression of the Gotham, and the riddler really gave the impression of being serial killer.
true. this is not a superhero movie. this is a vigilante movie. reminds me of rorschach
@@890705123 rorschach vibes 🥵
I could actually feel Bruce's depression. They keyed the soundtrack when he was sad which had an overwhelming amount of malincaly, and deep somber of despair ultimately expelling those feelings out of you while robert performed.
@@emir2750 that was my favorite part. In the beginning I especially recognized that.
Rorschach's journal.
you should see him in the film prisoners too. paul dano plays crazy really well.
In a sense, this really was an origin story for batman, because he learned to get over the death of his parents and become something that they could truly be proud of. Not a vigilante beating thieves to a pulp, but a hero, inspiring people and giving them hope
imo, I don’t think batman has overcome the death of his parents yet.
@@pyro4118 yeah, I also think Batman has not overcome the death of his parents in the end, but like Nate said I believe he saw himself as more than a vigilante and became a hero in the end.
I take your concept, but... he's not superman. Perhaps justice (not corrupt).
No one is ready for all the Batman 66 references.
Thank you
There was nothing more batman than that opening scene with the thugs getting scared of dark corners and everything around them as soon as the bat signal went up
The opening scene was amazing! Set the tone for the whole movie.😊
After watching that scene, I was fully convinced thru the film this was gonna honor Batman in the best way. And after leaving the theatre, my mind all day was *I'm Vengeance*
You got more chance of winning the Superbowl than running into him!
It was fantastic! They absolutely killed it with this opener. One of the best opening scenes I have seen in a long time. I really like how they managed to open and close the movie.
Honestly the most Batman like opening scene I have ever seen. Felt like a little kid watching my favorite Batman cartoon again. It was so perfect.
And as someone who has watched LOST multiple times, I realize how much Giacchino's score can elevate a production.
me, praticaly the same. i'm gonna see it again. mean while, study how they made this outstanding film
Funny I also felt strange connection between this movie and animated series, it was not just me haha.

6. Catwoman.
1. That's just Glasgow

I expect nothing less from the man behind the soundtrack of most of the Medal of Honor games and the Incredibles. This soundtrack feels similar to the MoH games.
Yo the first music and the ten minutes of solid monologue build up to batman's entrance. Goose fking bumps.
Not just the Batman we need, but the Batman we deserve.

01:40:57 Goosebumps for the theme of Catwoman...I'm sure it was inspired by Michel Legrand a touch of Angelo Badalamenti and a dash of John Barry
EDIT : I made a mashup of the theme of Catwoman and sycamore tree from Twin Peaks here ua-cam.com/video/pW9NCxhbwvE/v-deo.html
I got major John Barry vibes too, particularly the "Did You Call Me?" suite from The Specialist that served as May's theme. Just like with that one, Catwman's theme conveys that same sense of sultry, mysterious sexiness.

01:29:08 gives me straight perfect cell vibes when he’s walking with his boot effects and the beginning comes on
The main theme is borrowed from the two chords of Nirvana's "Something in the Way" (of course a big inspiration for the tone in the movie as well as featuring in the movie itself)
They think im hiding in the shadows… but I am the shadows
Actually in one of the TV spots he says "They think I am hiding in the shadows, watching, waiting to strike, but I am the shadows." I believe it was cut due to long runtime.
it's the greatest film I have ever seen. If Heath Ledger was the best Joker ever then Pattinson is the best Batman ever hands down. You can feel the pain of Bruce Wayne like never before.
50 seconds in and I already love it. This is a Batman soundtrack, I can feel it.
Seen the movie last night, It was INCREDIBLE, the scores, the scenes, the rythme, the acting..
Masterpiece
I completely agree.
I had high expectations but once I saw the movie I couldn’t believe how low those expectations were
The movie was freaking incredible
This is my fav Batman and we need moreee
reeves is such a legend
Oh yes ! Agree :-)
Gives me the 90s noir vibe. Haven't seen the movie yet. Going to watch it this Saturday. I'm super stoked!
If you liked the movie The Crow, then you will love this 🙂
How was it bro? It's Saturday already 👍🌟
I can not wait to see it again.
@@florencespinelli2947 I agree dude, the best Batman movie
@@passedOutpete I was pumped for this movie for 2 years. I wasn't disappointed albeit there was a couple of scenes which were redundant. But I liked Matt Reeves' vision and direction overall.
" I am Vengeance !
I am the Night !
I am Batman !! "
I AM THE SHADOWS!
"All men have limits. They learn what they are and learn not to exceed them. I ignore mine." - Batman : Knightfall
Nice man. He was fighting firefly, I remember that.
The leather cowl is such a great new design. The tone of the music makes this feel like a true noir film.
You can tell he spent time listening to Danny Elfman's score from Batman '89 at places like 01:23:22. Right there I almost expected to hear the first 5 notes of Elfman's motif.
He teases @1:23:36 though...☺️
Ngl I can’t remember when but there was one part in the movie that reminded me of nightmare before Christmas and I somehow forgot that Michael was doing the soundtrack and I thought ‘oh that’s probably because Danny Elfmann did the soundtrack for the Batman as well as nightmare before Christmas’ and the thing is I knew that Michael was the one doing the soundtrack but I just somehow forgot.
This is the most realistic Batman movie I ever watch in my life, not just a superhero movie but what a masterpiece detective movie
Hes not a superhero?
@@jadus97 he is but this movie was more like a detective movie even the director said that this is going to be more like a detective movie
Realistic? His suit didn’t even have a single dent in it 😂
@@YEDxYED why would it?
Driving around downtown of my city with this soundtrack on a gloomy overcast day it is giving me such an ominous gothic feeling
and feels dangerous
This soundtrack sounds awesome yet has some haunting vibes especially Riddler's theme I love how this Batman almost plays like a Horror, Thriller, Detective, Story while also being a superhero film! I'm so pumped
Saw it an hour ago. In-f'ing-tense, Just like the sound track.
What a masterpiece! Id go back to the theaters again just to rewatch it
I've booked my second ticket

This movie… I just can’t describe how amazing it was. I cried so much in the beginning of the movie.. not because it was sad but because it’s so… Batman!! I loved every second and every minute and every hour of it. The cinematography, the music, the characters, the story. 🦇♥️♥️
10/10 phenomenal movie can’t wait for the sequel to release
That may take another 3-5 yrs :/ they said it will take some time..
@@emyf9197 i heard theyre gonna do mr freeze next, thats what matt reeves said hed like to do
@@swedlepop7092 yes, Mr freeze and joker or court of owls plot with more horror element
I’ve heard that the Penguin is going to be the next main villain.. idk if that’s true or not
@@natwalsh2710 no, penguin is getting a series on hbo max. He could be part of the next movie but not main villain...
This film was the best one in the series since Batman 1. Why? Because Batman is the star. Not a guest star like so many other films.
I agree 💯. Also at 27:35 yo u can hear Keaton's Batman in it!!! 💪
every single track is a perfectly crafted masterpiece
A Bat in the Rafters Part II is my favourite piece in the entire score. The entire sequence at Gotham Square Garden is one of the greatest set pieces I've seen in any film in years, but the inclusion of that music, with the addition of those screeching horns and rattling violins, made it even more overwhelmingly intense and powerful than I could have possibly imagined.
I was a bit nervous about the score and didnt want it to be repetitive but this is pure class. It has soul, heart and magic. Masterpiece
How did people watch the movie, I don't see its release yet, how?
@@mr.reality1611 He's talking about the soundtrack. IIRC the earliest screening is on 2nd or 3rd.
