I have thoroughly enjoyed every Delos video without exception. The crew's approach to life is teaching this 57 year old grandmother to live my best life and not just keep marking time. I loved the fishing, the camaraderie and especially Wasabi blasting. Thank you Delos tribe for helping me to press reset on my own life.
Its hard to find a woman with a smile that pretty, and well intended. I am subing, and not just for Babs. :) Great adventures and videos. Have fun out there guys.
There's many kinds of laughter, but when Josje's catching a fish, y'all Wasabi challenging, and again in the outtakes, I'm tellin' ya', it was joyful laughter such as I've not felt in too long. Thank you. Fair winds!

SV Delos videos are great. 7 great friends having the time of their life and an adventure they will always remember. All of you will be friends forever. Really like the ladies in their traditional dress and all are very attractive.
+Sailing SV Delos According to all of your videos and what you have said, Delos has been sailing now for 7 years. What are your plans now, will you continue sailing as I would find it very difficult to give up your plan and go back to the real world. Most of your You Tube followers are very envious of everything you and your crew have experienced, Brian, great videos and experiences.
Thought I'd chime in to tell you guys how wonderful of job your doing with these videos. Top notch. The synergy is awesome. +Jorn Jacobsen Hey Jorn, wow man thanks so much for the super cool comment. It's always nice to hear that the love and passion we put into these shines through. Wishing you all the best from Delos in South Africa! Brian

Hello Brady Bunch..a.k.a. S/V Delso Yes as I sit here. " living vicariously through yall" Fish ON!!! 71. I must first say Thank You Ladies. Showing off Bobbers improves fishing, and it becomes real life. as always a much needed light hearted lift to my spirit, & just being human. Thank you for making my work day livable.

I have officially watched all of your videos! I had fibula surgery and have a lot of time on my hands lol I was born in Punjab, India and came to the states when I was four years old. Brian, Brady and the rest of the gang, it is refreshing to see that you all are living out your dreams. The Andaman Islands trip mad me laugh lol Love you guys and thank you for letting us see the world through your travels! ... garet do!!! .. that was d 1st video i watched while presenting my family S.V Delos n Crew. Phenomenally Fantastic we were all watching with passion. Now my daughter wants a yatch, then she remembered our Land Rover project. Soup Sa. Bon voyaz.
I have been watching your vids from the beginning again. awesome stuff. I love them more everytime I watch them. I am learning from you guys. one day soon, I will be out on the ocean. thank you for your info and perspective on many sailing questions. I love the cruising life, or should I say, what you have shown us. My tender experiences just don't match up with your adventures. lmcao I miss some of the faces in this series of videos. But another lesson learned. all good things must come to an end. we can only hope that we will see them again. safe sailing and fair winds.
I didn't like la vagabonde as much as delos. I like S/V Parity (Wicked Salty channel) and S/V Prism Delos though reminds me of the 90s MTV show Road Rules minus all the stupid shit and attitude.
so cool think this is my 3rd time going back thru this crew epes. so cool.yall are legends and so cute to know all these adventures led to little nugget. and now yalls new boat. wow.
I found your channel a few days ago. I grew up next to a river and the Atlantic in southeast Florida and moved up to a landlocked area of the NC mountains when I was 17. I'm saving for my own liveaboard now and your videos are keeping the homesickness for the (for lack of a better term) "salt life" at bay. During the Q&A you were almost where I grew up. I'm looking forward to seeing you in familiar places next season in the Caribbean.
That is sad that humans can't respect those elephants. Thank you for sharing it though. You guys are great. We (my wife Cookie and I are stuck in a truck stop somewhere in America waiting for a load. "Hurry up and wait." Would love to be where you are doing what you are doing.
Fun episode. Good laughs! (Frida looking for the fish's junk - It was Brady!:) Karin's editing is top notch. You are advancing the story without dragging shots at all. Very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to Africa.
Ahahaha, butter chicken butter chicken butter chicken. Another job well done with this episode of SV Delos. The videos just keep getting better. If you guys ever decide to produce a series of DVDs, count me in.
Great story, great editing, lots of hard work put into the videos ( although the experience looks fairly rewarding all the same) but I think it is the cast in the show who make the difference.. Good luck to you all and thanks for all the videos.
It's 5 years after your comment, so I assume you are now out of school? If so, then here's hoping you've embarked on your dream trip! But whether you have or whether you have not (YET!), I wish you all the best. And remember: time and tide wait for no man.
the are two completely different types of sailboat. both sailing on opposite sides of the world. with different nationality crews, and organizational standards. you cannot compare slv and svd or any other sailing channel.
Funny! I used the song „Gemini Robot“ too, in an equal situation on north sea, when we pulled out of the water some mackerels. I like your videos! So cool! I begann to watch your actual uploads, but then, I decided to watch all epsiodes from the beginning - so today I watch this episode :-) Cool journey, cool crew (particularly Brian!), cool boat! Thank you for sharing! I enjoy your videos! I wish I could be a part of your crew for a while! Have fun guys! Enjoy the time on St. Helena! Greetings from Hamburg, Jan
Loving your videos and all of the crew...shame those goddesses undergo censoring...what a wonderful adventurous life...after my nine years on the ocean in wooden sail; boats I'm on a lake With a thousand miles of forested shoreline and many islands with a 33' Tavana and a couple of wolf dog companions I raised over the past 9 years....being in my seventies now with no mate this is where destiny has delivered me....Infinite Highest Loving Blessings....Soar on !!!!
So Fun ! I so Totally wish I was there with u guys for a couple days. Too much fun !Me---A Business Owner of a Commercial, industrial & Marine Refrigerator & Freezer Service company in Sunny Dana Point, California. Scuba Diver & Boater. You guys all Look like you make a Great crew together. Best Wishes & Love the Video's.Living Vicariously through u guys. Ah, what a Life u All are Having. Enjoy Every Minute of it !
Hey Guys :) I wanted to mention something about the little migratory song bird. I see often off shore they'll get blown off course, and land on yachts because they're tired,... but mostly dehydrated! Birds temps are much higher than ours and they dehydrate easily. Just something to keep in mind should one come along again, is to spray some fresh water on deck near them for them to drink, or put out a little bowl. Might save a little birdies life :) Peace
nice Jack you all rock hope to to do some all blue sailing this winter down to Puerto Rico. Many thanks from sailing vessel No Problem Malabar Florida for the great entertainment.. Hope to start a patreon account soon..
You guys are an inspiration! I'm booked in to the RYA practical course next week in Scotland (will deffo be wearing a few more layers then you guys through its around 5 deg!) It's going to take a few years but I just have to get covered in ash at Barron island! Keep the vids coming stay safe..... Big love from England
I love your videos. I wish I was younger. You are doing the right thing at your age because when you are in your 50's. It's hard to do what you guys are doing. Having a home and children things change. At least for me they changed.
+dphotos Sorry dphotos but that is BS! Your only true regrets will be the dreams you never attempted. Get a copy of "Call of the Ancient Mariner - Reese Palley's Guide to a Long Sailing Life". No need to round Cape Horn to get the feeling. Started sailing in my 40's and with 50 long behind me I am headed off to circumnavigate Cuba and the Caymans in 2017. Might even jump over the Yucatan for awhile. Just do it my friend! :)
+DAM FLA I will look into that book. Right now I have a teen daughter and I have to support her plus I have to pay for her college. After her scholarship I will see if I can afford to try sailing but right now taking care of her is my number one responsibility. My work is based in Southern California and I have no other choice to live.
+dphotos Of course, kids are a #1 priority. But for starters get into some ASA classes and do some short charters Soon you will find yourself on adventures to Catalina and Ensenada!
+DAM FLA I know Catalina well I got PADI certified out there a few years back. I found there are two schools that are out of Marina Del Rey that teach certified sailing classes and I will contact each school for prices, they both have good Yelp ratings. I had gone through the Coast Guard motor boating safety course a long time ago because our family had a Sea Ray boat. I wish my dad I got a sail boat back in the 70's but we had fun with the Sea Ray. Thanks for your advise.
ha ha Brady saying "WTF is it?" when you guys pulled in that big jack. Literally spit my AM coffee. We have jacks here on the Gulf side of FL, much smaller than that one, but they put up a heck of a fight!
I know it takes a lot to edit videos but I don't want it to end. Selfishly I wish y'all could upload more often but I still love when y'all do! Thank you, fair winds from the N. Carolina coast!!
Word of caution for everyone. Be careful eating too much barracuda. And avoid anything over 10lbs. If your not aware, read up on ciguatera. Old saying from the Abaco's fisherman. First, you fillet the fish quickly and get it on ice immediately. At the end of the day you deliver a nice fresh piece to your neighbor and put the rest in your icebox overnight. The next morning you knock on your neighbor's door and if he opens it, the fish is OK to eat.
+OcRefrigeration,Hvac & Electrical. Let me add a bit of an explanation from a scientific perspective. Barracuda is predominantly a reef fish and here is the information. " Ciguatera is a foodborne illness caused by eating certain reef fish whose flesh is contaminated with a toxin made by dinoflagellates such as Gambierdiscus toxicus which live in tropical and subtropical waters. These dinoflagellates adhere to coral, algae and seaweed, where they are eaten by herbivorous fish which in turn are eaten by larger carnivorous fish. This is called biomagnification." It is the consensus that the barracuda under 8-10lbs will have very little of this toxin.
+Sunny W Ha Ha funny..... Yeah, you are right larger fish around reefs can be ciguatoxic. We always ask the locals as Ciguatera is well known and they will usually know if it's safe or not in that area. All the word we got is the Andamans were safe. But if we don't have any local knowledge we only eat pelagic fish..... Fair Winds! Brian
Damm love your life, tried to buy you guys a beer but having trouble giving, software issue, security? Sure wish I was with this group, really awsome people. Makes me remember my years in Hi boating, best memories ever.
+Robert Gill OH thanks Robert, appreciate that. Just you watching the vids and subscribing to the channel gives us more support than you realize so cheers to you! Brian
After 71 episodes, i continue to be surprised that you guys eat barracuda. Growing up in Miami, we used to catch a LOT of barracuda and would always release them as I understood them to not always be safe to eat due to ciguatera. But I guess it's hit and miss and this kinda proves it. Some people say it all depends how far offshore they are caught, but who knows for sure. Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences on eating Barracuda.
Great entertainment and I guess you have so many followers and likes - because they are wishing they were doing or could do just the same. Not sure why the haters and thumbs down people bother though - the mysteries of life.👍⛵️😀
+Norman Boyes Thanks for that Norman, appreciate your super nice comment. I guess there will always be disapproves no matter what you do. Just part of being human I suppose, but so far we are blessed with an audience that resonates with the way we like to live our lives. Fair Winds! Brian
Peter here - Great video content again Delos, always a welcome sub notification. I was working on an Indian drillship years ago in the Andaman Islands and what was sad was the galley crew would just throw all the garbage including plastic and cooking oil off the helideck. The saltwater crocs and sea eagles were great to see. though. Look forward to the next video - Fair winds
+Sailing XtremeAdventures Oh man, that really sucks about the plastic. You would hope people would have more respect but sometimes no one realizes the damage and harm they can do. Fair Winds and thanks for watching.
We live in the Caribbean and it's a shame that the garbage litters the streets especially the poorer areas, back to basic education and respect. we read that by 2050 there will be more pieces of plastic in the oceans than fish. Looking forward to you're next video - Fair winds team Delos.
You could watch this channel for the food alone, sometimes! Butter Chicken, Couscous, filet of Barracuda, legit hand rolled Sushi, fish burgers, Fresh rolls, fresh Salsa?! You guys sometimes eat better on the vessel than most do at home! Can't add much more than anyone else already said; Great content and production!
Whenever I hear the opening bars of the theme music, all tension leaves me and I settle down for yet another fantastic episode of "The Brady Bunch" ....that should be "The Brian Bunch" but it doesn't have the same ring LOL. Fair winds and smooth seas guys (and gals).
Babs!! What a woman. She can fish, she can cook, and she can smile. :) My goodness what a cutie pie.
Agreed, she's a good one!
Its hard to find a woman with a smile that pretty, and well intended. I am subing, and not just for Babs. :) Great adventures and videos. Have fun out there guys.
Yeah, she's beautiful!
@Deutscher Ehrenmann deine englisch skills sind ja mal mega krass xD
All the Leyten girls are classy dames.
Y’all are fucking crazy, I love it. Yes I know it’s many years ago but it’s bringing me lots of happiness and joy now.
There's many kinds of laughter, but when Josje's catching a fish, y'all Wasabi challenging, and again in the outtakes, I'm tellin' ya', it was joyful laughter such as I've not felt in too long. Thank you. Fair winds!
+John Fife Right on John, so glad to hear that and thanks for letting us know. Fair Winds! Brian
Excellent content, editing, music and general entertainment quality as usual. This channel is honestly one of the best on UA-cam!
+MattBankes totally agree !

My Personal Favorite is Rheem Equiptment.
Rheem Condensing units are the Best in my opinion.
Rheem Furnaces are a little loud at the burners. like a jet rocket. but, if it's in the garage or attic. no problem. Rheem Furnace is my choice.
if not use a Trane Furnace inside the house for closet inside the house. a Trane Furnace is the quietest ive found. Payne are also quiet.
Carrier & Lennox are both good Quality.
Carrier Was considered top quality a while back , but not any more.

Some sort of martin.
nice Jack you all rock hope to to do some all blue sailing this winter down to Puerto Rico. Many thanks from sailing vessel No Problem Malabar Florida for the great entertainment.. Hope to start a patreon account soon..
+derrick johnston Hey Derrick, right on bro happy sailing and thanks so much for watching! Brian
+All Good Right on man, go for it and you'll love it! Fair Winds and wishing you the best from South Africa. Brian

India of all places how unique original I love this Chanel!
Great update. Looking forward to seeing you guys with the elephants!
Is not fair you guys ... you are all enjoying the full site... we are not... all those little dots always on the way... lol ... looks very funny.
I love your videos. I wish I was younger. You are doing the right thing at your age because when you are in your 50's. It's hard to do what you guys are doing. Having a home and children things change. At least for me they changed.
+dphotos So trueI Where's my hot tub time machine when I need it!
Thanks for your advise.
your videos are never long enough but it's okay because I will always be back for more
thanks for the videos guys. Have fun and be carefull. Best wishes to all...
Love the fishing action guys. Huge thumbs up.
+Sean Hendy right on Sean, glad you enjoyed :)

You guys are the shit! Videos are better than ever.......Bring on those Oliphants, can't wait!
Always love watching your videos. Sitting on my boat here in the U.K. waiting for the weather to move south, you guys keep me inspired.
ha ha Brady saying "WTF is it?" when you guys pulled in that big jack. Literally spit my AM coffee. We have jacks here on the Gulf side of FL, much smaller than that one, but they put up a heck of a fight!
i wait for your show..every two weeks...love you guys..live long..michael from Los A ngeles..ox
+Michael Cummings Thanks so much Michael, working on more episodes so stay tuned :)

Seeing that elephant like that really stuck with me. I can only imagine what it was like for you. I wish there was something I could do.
You guys really know how to have fun You make great videos
Another awesome videos and good luck to the boys on their mission to get the permit!!
I will remember this saying, pretty funny.
+Sunny W Lol.
This is called biomagnification."
It is the consensus that the barracuda under 8-10lbs will have very little of this toxin.
Fair Winds! Brian
Sunny W 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
The cooking looks professional. Fair winds.
+Ron Cooper Yeah man, Babs is one hell of a cook and really did some fantastic dishes in the galley. Fair Winds! Brian
Amazing video Delos crew!!! Thank you!
Nice to backlog and see the oldies..
Brian
Another great video guys and gals. Well done!
Hi Delos, thx for the video
Great entertainment and I guess you have so many followers and likes - because they are wishing they were doing or could do just the same. Not sure why the haters and thumbs down people bother though - the mysteries of life.👍⛵️😀
+Norman Boyes Thanks for that Norman, appreciate your super nice comment. I guess there will always be disapproves no matter what you do. Just part of being human I suppose, but so far we are blessed with an audience that resonates with the way we like to live our lives. Fair Winds! Brian
People who I've told about your way of life say "it must get old after awhile" . I can't see it ever getting old seeing dolphins off your bow!!
Damn it took me way too long to find this channel. Been on a weekend binge watch. You all are living out my dreams.
Little did we know…i think from this point on Karen becomes the butcher of the sea. She is so CLEAN
Whenever I hear the opening bars of the theme music, all tension leaves me and I settle down for yet another fantastic episode of "The Brady Bunch" ....that should be "The Brian Bunch" but it doesn't have the same ring LOL. Fair winds and smooth seas guys (and gals).
Thanks for sharing your adventure !
+Creative Rhythms Our pleasure, thanks so much for watching! Brian
