That explorer was gorgeous.
Oh shit you’re here! Cheaaah!!!
I've never seen an unmarked CHP FPIU before, only chargers so this is awesome
John Soap Mactavish Yeah I was going to say I have NEVER ever seen a unmarked FPIU with the CHP.
From Indiana, what is a FPIU?
@@mikeellis4158 Ford Police Interceptor Utility aka Explorer
Probably a chp investigator or higher up official
Dirtman707 It’s got to be some kind of administrative officer, because I noticed that their interior mount light bar the red was even flashing, while still being steady burn. Which is something that CHP has never done. So yeah your probably right.
CHP: *"Turn around if you can. Roads closed"*
Massive trucks with trailers: 😑🙄
That vehicle is definitely compliant. A steady burning "bright as helll" red light. If only they could understand standards and uniformity here, 7,300 miles away in the Philippines.....
Who else misses crown vic's?
Not me xd
All of us i think
@@maxhallman1036 exept this San Jose guy, how could he not like them/miss them??
Crown Vic was a very fast car but I'm happy with my charger
OH MY GOD! YOU JUST HIT THE JACKPOT THERE BUD! Awesome catch!
Hello there D34.
Hi
Traffic, pistachio/almond trees, hills in background, 2 lane roads, shit air quality, and grass fires.. You got the Central Valley package right there
Awesome Catch! I am thinking that is the Area Captain! No exempt plate indicates a Take home unit ! in 1995 Napa Areas Captain had a unmarked baby blue 95 caprice with with full patrol slicktop lighting the only one like it in the fleet! He was a working boss:) As for the Expedition a few are still around but the Tahoe is fast replacing them.
I've never seen the expedition respond before great catches!
Omg dude that explorer so beautiful
Awesome!! Love those expeditions! And that PA usage was pretty cool!
Woah sweet catch. Unmarked chp I never thaught I’d live to see. And the pa makes it just👌. the first one I have only seen once In my life, and Ive seen a lot of CHP. and the unmarked, I don't think I will ever see.
You obviously put a lot of "thaught" into your comment.
@@daryllect6659 lmao
@@daryllect6659 i taught I taw a putty tat
Awesome catchin CHP is my favorite
Wow, I love the unmarked CHP! Extremely RARE! :0
F the CHP.
@@daryllect6659 Why do you say that exactly?
I love that Expedition.
I get expeditions here all the time, but the unmarked are super rare. Only ever seen one and it was a Tahoe
Damn even the plates have normal registration and aren't "CA Exempt" this thing is truely undercover lol.
The only way of knowing its a FPIU is the Rims, matte black trunk stripe, and the mirrors having no turn signals. If you have really good eyes, the foglight police lights.
Awesome catch of the expedition and the unmarked explorer!
I sub to your channel 👍
@@SanJoseTransit 👍
Wow that is sneaky, even has the roofrack on it still
It is sneaky, but keep in mind cars like these are not used for traffic enforcement in California, in fact its illegal for that to be the purpose of unmarked police cars in California. The rest of the country should copy imo.
Wow I never knew CHP had unmarked units!
My guess is it’s a big boss or a task force unit that someone had to use that day.
All CHP Area Commanders get take home unmarked cars. At this point, every commander typically has a newer model charger, Explorer or Taurus in various colors. Also some specialized units in the CHP use these unmarked cars. I remember one of my friends who is is an Area Commander used to have a silver crown vic years ago, now he has a blue 2016 charger.
Noel Sokukawa Tauruses aren’t used in CHP
@@CallMeAhSirHKP They are, I've seen multiple unmarked Tauruses for CHP...
@@noelsokukawa5413 .................................
Very good video
Amazing catch, super rare.
Beautiful unmarked
Wow...haven’t seen an unmarked FPIU from CHP yet. I work with disguise installs and the only thing I want to know is where the lowband antenna is on that.
It’s gotta be a boss or a specialized unit used for task force work or something.
Mounted under vehicle
Sweet catches!!
Dear police EVERYWHERE...
We are beside you and we support you . . . until...
You stop protecting and serving WE THE PEOPLE.
Sweet!
The clips were Code 2, because only using sirens for traffic and intersections/4 way stops
Am I the only one not hearing and wanting to know what the unmarked CHP said...? Great catch.
He’s saying that there is a grass fire and people should go back to i-5.
NorCal Fire Buff109 Thank You!!
Didn’t know CHP had unmarked
Well done bud 👍
I forgot they had the Expedition.
And Tahoe’s
Someone needs make this unmarked for LSPDFR..
SWEET!🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice Unmarked Ford Explorer! Can i use some of your videos for a police tribute I'm working on? credit will be given
GreyWolf139 as long as you do not monetize the video, you can use my videos with credit.
@@alexandernunez109 Thanks! I will always give you credits! i will not monetize the vid
@@alexandernunez109 Plus me , Ashley Larkin, and Blue Line Patrol have been working hard to make tributes
@@alexandernunez109 I will show you the video once I'm done with it.
There are so many different unmarked cars now I wish I can post a couple but I’m not allowed to record at work just for safety!
Unmarked should have had light on the side of the unit!
Looks like a probation vehicle
Through Donner pass on I-80 mostly CHP vehicles is a Chevy Tahoe and on scales you’ll see only Dodge Ram and Ford F-250 nothing is rare here, it is just depends where you live in California
They’ve started expansion the Tahoe’s to bigger cities too. Multiple have been spotted here in Sacramento.
its not responding. its advising traffic lol. just an fyi code 3 refers to like lights and sirens and moving traffic while trying to urgently get somewhere.
In the state of California, lights on, no matter if the sirens are as well, is automatically code 3
That's not a FPIU !!! That's a civilian explorer upfitted with police equipment. No FPIU came with roof racks
Chicagoguy84 incorrect
Those can are just in case they need to transport officers there not rare they just make them because they don’t find the need for it
What’s so rare about these I’ve seen these a lot? I live in AZ but originally from Southern California. Can someone explain how the car is rare?
The unmarked vehicles are only used for higher ranking officers like captain or above
Unmarked/undercover, but has steel wheels installed...
Gonna take them all day to get there at that speed, thank god they are going to defund these idiots, maybe the wont waste so much time driving so slow
Samuel Littlejohn you’re the problem.
Maybe you wanna drive that explorer and see if you get there any faster
Maybe. Because theres already emergency personnel on scene and they already have the situation under control. The responding units are for traffic control/investigative purposes. Could you not hear the Explorer telling people to turn around? You're a clown.
Why so much red on a POLICE car, that’s sickening
Watch it turn out the unmarked Explorer (FPIU) was a police impersonator, and not CHP.
*code 2
In the state of California this is code 3.
@polecat324
CHP doesn't have unmarked explorers, that was definitely from a nearby PD.
No, that’s definitely CHP. Lighting pattern and lighting setup matches and CHP has some unmarked vehicles in their fleet. Reasonable to assume it is from CHP.
Are you people serious they have unmarked cars all the police forces they're everywhere you must be blind
The best CHP is a ded CHP.
The best idiot is a brain dead idiot. Oh look you've already achieved that.
