An extremely intense situation for all involved. Well covered Jay from early to late in the incident. Goes to show how things jump in scale as time moves on.

Wow thats crazy. Great catches.
Never thought i’d see that light and air truck move, great video, absolutely love seeing those hawthorn units, stay safe!
i was fortunate enough to get a video of AL96 responding to a County fire during the time that pretty much all LACo.FD MAL rigs were out of service for mechanical issues, that was my first time seeing it move haha. this rig now serves as both hazmat and air & light so maybe more to come haha, thanks for watching bro!
The guy did not have chance!… Thank you 🙏 👮♂️ policemen.
Good captures! Didn’t know Torrance had a hazmat unit. Love their truck. Those bomb squads look great, always good to see the 2020s. Great video
they had a really cool old tractor-trailer style unit that used to be HM91 but it retired. this rig now serves as both hazmat and air & light. thanks for watching bro!
@ØhDark30_ please read the description
Not so much air now lol the compressor is broken on that rig so it’s more of just hazmat equipment now
Spectacular response and video.
Excellent catch & response video 😀👍👍 Thanks for the video & the channel!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
thanks for the support!
Crazy they didn't just block the rds off round the area
What an incredible video!
thank you!
the explorer ST's look so aggressive I love it
Amazing videos, my city pd uses same siren
They did a stunning job at doing this.
AMAZING FOOTAGE!!!!
nice footage. i was in that exact plaza around new years time doing last minute shopping. cant believe it ended there.
Can’t wait for Lafd videos again soon. Do you have any
@@eddieo4156 Unfortunately i’m out of LA content. I’m gonna try to go back at least twice this year however.
@@ValleyFireVids oh ok
what is that beeping siren on the first response for? very interesting, never heard anything like it before.
Yeah what is that
Probably a priority tone
im from torrance, its to get your attention only a few units have it
@@justicejaproductions that makes sense, thanks for confirming!
Don’t listen to the other guys lol. It’s just a honk option within the unit, there’s a horn button you can press while lights and sirens are active
Amazing footage
great footage
Great video!!
Awesome catches I subscribed
Great Vid, Stay safe
0:39 Nice Genesis G90 next to the Explorer I haven't seen any of those cars here in Costa Mesa lol
Can’t wait for more Lafd videos. Do you have any
Wow very very nice video
What camera do you use?
Panasonic VX981 for this video
Was also Hawthorne PD.
I hate that I have to look up which shooting it was already in 2023
5:00 when did California emergency vehicles become authorized to use priority tones?
Glad i'm not the only one to realize that, I thought it was illegal.
@@marklipscomb29I’ve had this argument with my father who is a law enforcement officer, I’m not sure if they have ever been ‘illegal’
Fairly certain it’s just another tradition thing to just stick with your tradition wails and yelps, even rumblers used by both LE and Fire/EMS could be considered quite taboo in California.
Especially when it comes to departments getting new equipment, it means they’ll typically get new siren systems, and the modern day siren manufacturers have all sorts of random tones to choose from, so it’s just easier to get a base package or something a little fancier that just has all three.
3:45 what sheriff units were those? Do they serve multiple cities? Ive never seen so many city seals on sheriff vehicles lol
those were Lomita units; they serve Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, and the surrounding unincorporated areas
6:12 air horn jump scare
MY CITY AYY!
Isn’t that an Air light unit? Or is that a new hazmat unit added to 96s I thought 96s had a rescue , engine, truck, air light unit Not a hazmat unit?
it serves as both AL96 and HM96 since the retirement of HM91. it was requested and dispatched as "HazMat 96" that day. thanks for watching!
What's the siren called for the first video?
code 3 z3
I think is Air & Lighting 96, not HazMat 96...
it's utilized as both since the retirement of HM91. it was dispatched over the radio and requested as HM96 this day.
Wow so whats the story? Why do they need so many units for one or two suspects?
Check the description
the driver is not moving wtf
Y'all think the parking lot is safe?
I still think west coast police departments are the best trained... But this is withering away as older cops retire out and police and court reform ruin it
for a van such an action? do you have nothing to do or what?
In Potential Robbery and hostage taking motives, you might be allow to stand-off outside to surround a suspects.
In Active shooting situation, You not just Stand-off outside!... waiting suspect to get out surrender or responding, officers have to immediately rush the building and locate and confront and subdue the shooter at all cost to prevent more casualties in making!, cuz most of times the Active shooter killed themselves when they are done cornered by police. This could be very helpful advice for them.
the suspect was in the white van i think
He was the suspect of one, he was in the van, there wasn't one going on numbnuts
Do the police ever get mad at u for filming?
negative
@@FB1ResponseVideos I’m guessing you don’t have any radio scanners for TPD due to it being incrypted
@@hadyhaidar8609 that's correct
@@FB1ResponseVideos I want to do something similar to what you do but in a different area. Are there any legal challenges u face when posting videos?

My
Gardena pd didn't get called but hawthorne did, how embarrassing
I actually saw one Gardena PD vehicle head towards Torrance and responding to the same incident
Im pretty sure that all neighbor cities police departments like Gardena, Redondo, Palos Verdes, Inglewood, El Segundo, Hermosa and even Culver City show up, but also because LASD showed up massively there was not need to send other cities units.
how is that embarrassing? i'm confused
@@tapiajuan9632 OK Culver city makes zero sence, ingelwood not part of southbay, shit elco pd never gets asked to play lol
