Naval Group took part in the ORION joint exercise to test the capabilities of its D2i medium size underwater autonomous system as part of an electronic warfare type mission.
The aim of this mission was to demonstrate the ability of Naval Group's controlled decision-making autonomy (ADC®) to replan the drone’s mission in real time, in accordance with the plan phases entrusted to it (transit, waiting, target interception, data capture and prohibited zone avoidance). To perform this mission, Naval Group integrated an electronic warfare payload from @Serpikom on board its D2i.
The @French Navy conducted reconnaissance missions while using the electromagnetic spectrum from an underwater autonomous system.
During this exercise, Naval Group’s teams and its subsidiary @Sirehna also implemented the Remorina surface drone.
