Perhaps. But there are _tonnes_ of Beetles amongst the Hot Wheels' basics - comparatively few of them are premium in any way. It's more likely that he hates Beetles; quite possible in Lamley's case. He tends to prefer a bunch of JDM, Gulf-liveried anything, Porsches, and stripey race cars. Also, cars that are all white.

You should stop bashing the classic redline wheels because those are the real, true hot wheels.
Real riders and all the other wheels are not true hot wheels. Remember the hot wheels that started it all were built to be raced on the orange track with piano wire axles and classic redline wheels.
Larry Wood ruined the brand with his real rider wheels. Stop bashing the classic redline wheels.
