+NeoGeoThai DJMarkGyro Get your point. But in the end what does it matter?? The good dj's now how to do it. So my opinion is let them sinck but do more extras (Like live sounds). No I am not saying that everybody should sync, but it could be useful to get a better set.
+Michael Evans And that shows that you never used one ureself to mix with it at high volume stages. Sometime i cant play vinyls because im afraid of bad isolation so that my needle will skip..there are many more aspects that can fuck up your vibe instant wich cdj or controller djs dont need to care about wich isnt a bad thing :D excellent set btw :)
its what they play, not what they use. kids don't care how a DJ works lol. its 2017. this mix is good because of what he is playing. if he played this with mp3s it will still be good.
that's what's up! this is real beat matching! you can't call yourself a DJ if you have a computer and watching a sound bar to know your pitch is locked in. Real talent is in your hearing and experience in matching those records like this DJ is doing. awesomeness Nico. great choice in vinyl......all that way from Maine.............
The only DJ on two plates that I have seen do this was a DJ name Joe Ed from NYC, who DJ in Miss. back in '87. Don't know if he learned this in Brazil or Germany, but takes talent, & that's a compliment...
Hey Nico. This the shit I listened to in New Orleans at 5 AM at Southside Club, back in '87. Later it was back in NYC, Tunnel, in the early hours, with Jackie Christy.. Cheers!!!
love your sets men, keep it like this, dark and intense transitions. No Software, Just your ears, your hands and your heart, Software mixers kill art. Regards from Argentina.
I have just come across this and done my usual flick through, i.e. every 5 minutes of thereabouts seeing if I like what I hear - and I gotta say I LOVE what I am hearing!! Thank you so much
Nice work sir. Only word of advice would be to use the pitch fader to speed up and slow down instead of touching the platter. Gives your mixes a more seamless flow.
I always used to do that when I had decks, it was a long time before I realised most people didn’t mix that way! I just found it easier and it would stay synced for longer
I decided to just follow you on Soundcloud - quite simply I love the stuff you play and the way you play it - happy days. Yer based in Germany are you?
Oh come on, it's been FOUR years. What's the first vinyl on the left side that you're playin, the one with the white stuff and probably a clearn vinyl? At about 5:50..
Good tune and ok mix man.. one question tho, why you keeping the EQ knobs at 3 o'clock??!! only bedroom djs do that, on big rig you'd mess up all the system levels..!!
Pioneer 900 has a limiter in the mixer and it's vinyl. The limiter goes to 0 db out in the master. Sure, it squeezes the signal down and it can be a distortion ... The Out does not show the true volume. Error from pioneer. You can hear it at Digital Medium. Not for vinyl. And I have a gain control that I can adjust 12 clock is not equal to 0 db output in the channel. Can also be -1, -2, -3 .....
you dont need to push the gain on each eq that much? It's ok tho at home with a small system but you wouldn't wanna do that on a big pa. you really would make a big mess and get told off by engineer, trust ;) .. big up for the mix once more dude
No Trakktor , no sync button ! That's what DJing is !!! BRAVO ! Awsome music!

+Koen Eymael a better set if you cant beatmatch like a real dj... controllers are training wheels for djs...

excellent set btw :)
Thats why in every club you see only techs, you do not need to worry about skipping

Loving the non-hype, nice mixing, music first approach! Keep it up! 👌
This a lot of good acid. I've seen maybe a few dj's in the 90's that can pull this off. Very talented & knows he's genre in dark house music tracks...

love your sets men, keep it like this, dark and intense transitions. No Software, Just your ears, your hands and your heart, Software mixers kill art. Regards from Argentina.
