    I had the same Flex Armor roof installed at the RVROOFDFW Denton, TX facility in July 2021. I am very pleased with it. Mark Lamb and his crew have an outstanding work ethic and did a fantastic job on my motorhome. I told him if I ever purchase a brand-new rig, I will immediately have the Flex Armor roof put on as preventative maintenance, as it's not a matter of IF you roof is going to leak, it's a matter of WHEN. Water damage may not be detected until thousands of dollars of damage is done. It's at that time you wish your rig would have had the Flex Armor roof! I sleep comfortably in the rain knowing the water will not be coming in! No more caulking needed on my roof! Note: The Flex Armor lifetime warranty is transferable. You receive paperwork to transfer the warranty to the new owner should you sell your RV.

    We had FlexArmor sprayed on our 5th wheel. We had them cover our sky light in the bathroom. It made the bathroom darker, but it's not a problem turning the light on, and we don't have to worry about replacing the skylight in the future. LOVE FlexArmor!!! Well worth the money, especially with the lifetime, transferable guarantee.

      When I replace my roof, needs to be done soon, I was wanting to eliminate the skylight and install a light in its place due to the fact the skylights do not last.

    Thanks for the video. Im looking at buying and older American Tradition class A that already had this installed. The current owner did a live video with me and while on the roof talking about how great the roof is, jumped up and down on the roof to show how tough it was. This looks like a great product and new RVs are built fast, not well. The roof is always a liability. The damage that a leak that went unnoticed for weeks or months could be catastrophic. Definitely adds value to a rig when it comes time to sell.

    you need a new roof, run don't walk to have this stuff on your roof. you can barely pierce it with a screw driver, it lowered the temp inside, weight is not a problem. we had our done in green cove spring fl. think about all the flexing your roof goes thru going down the road, this stuff is tuff. sun doesn't seem to mess with it like other roofs. they go down on the roof side seams, so much protection. very happy.

    How do you add solar panels or replace a hail damaged skylight? Do you have to take it back to them? What if you want to screw in a few solar panel mounts? Do they give you the glue to seal over the screws?

    I just spent so much time preparing our new used campers roof to apply this industrial coating and now I have bubbles and the coating is still tacky. Even though it has been a couple weeks, every bug and every seed from every tree has landed on it.
    No, I'm trying to figure out if I need to pop those bubbles and reseal them.
    Very frustrating

    I'm curious about the application. Is it better to apply it directly to the wood? I would think that applying it to the membrane would be much weaker since there could be adhesion issues with the original material.

    We need a new roof on our GD 2022 MLE22. GD should be covering but they are not. We are looking at either traditional rubber roof replacement or the FlexArmor which would cost about 2500 more. We want to know how you like the product now that you have lived with it. Thank you

    It seems that this is a good product but it is very expensive, if you are selling your rig in a few years it will not be worth it since you can not get your money back or return. If you are keeping your rig 10 years or more, it may be worth it. You may get some peace of mind using this but at a great cost. I wish they could adjust their costs, more folks may be inclined to invest in this process, if it indeed lasts. They would make money on the volume.

      Thank you for your feedback. We may not be aware of all business practices, but our pricing is based on the cost of materials and labor. Considering that most dealerships charge upwards of $10,000 for a rubber roof, which typically involves around $600 of rubber and approximately $100 of glue, we believe our prices are quite reasonable. We invest more in materials and labor, and our work is not performed by general laborers at $15 an hour in an RV park. Our prices align with those of a standard roof, yet we provide superior quality and a lifetime warranty-benefits not offered with standard roofing. At our corporate headquarters, the price for a 40 ft RV roof is $8000. Additionally, our transferable warranty has proven beneficial for many of our previous customers during resale or trade-in.

    • @TSquadRVing

      I would say a little, but it is definitely more durable, That's because of the thin wood the manufacture installed, We went to a NASCAR race last weekend and had 8 people up on the roof and it was solid no problems

    • @rvroofflexarmor9117
      @rvroofflexarmor9117 3 місяці тому

      Thank you for your comment. This material is actually tougher than bedliner. RVs have different needs than a bedliner, which has little movement and different needs. We decided FlexArmor to withstand things such as tree branches but have the flexibility needed for a vehicle that does flex. We have some videos on our UA-cam page showing the toughness.

    • @scottlewis5755
      @scottlewis5755 Рік тому +2

      Yet that will probably still be cheaper than a factory/dealer installed replacement. I had mine done with flexarmor and never looked back. Repair/replacement of the roof estimates with factory/oem materials 1.5 times as expensive and simply repairing the damaged area came in at just over have the price of the flexarmor with a 3-7 year expected lifespan. A no brainer if you plan on keeping your trailer and use it a lot. Do it right, buy once, cry once.

    • @williammartin6872
      @williammartin6872 Рік тому

      @@scottlewis5755 Yes, Flex Armor is probably half the cost of a roof replacement, but how many people NEED a roof replacement, barring something like a tree falling on the roof, something that Flex Armor won't help with? They're actually pretty rare in the RV community. Most minor roof damage can be repaired fairly easily with a combination of something like Eternabond and Dicor to seal the edges. There are videos of folks who have such repairs done years before without any subsequent issue. I've seen many people who RV full-time, and I've never heard one comment before regarding Flex Armor.
