That electric does not need to go in a box, it needs to be completely replaced. At 12:20 They tied an orange 30 Amp wire into a yellow 20 Amp wire.

My guess on why the wood fungus is penetrating the “Kilz Paint” is that the fungus was ther first and someone painted over the fungus. Also if applied via spraying,, the “Kilz” may have been cut ( thinned for profit ) and “Kilz Primer” most likely was not used?

(PB) Polybutylene pipes are mostly gray, but can also be blue, black, or white, but they always have the letters “PB” on a printed label on the pipe. Also goes by the brand name of Qest or Quest piping

All that NM Romex wiring on the ground needs to be fastened to a running board up on the joists, especially in a wet crawlspace, critter nibbles on those & electrifies a puddle lul.

I did pest control for over 10 years and Man the things you see! My wife and I have owned 3 other houses prior to the one we bought a year ago and it's a late 70's double wide. I'm in Blount county TN. and haven't ever had a house with a crawlspace but our crawlspace does have vents and no dehumidifier me I could really use a contractor to fix a lot of our issues here. Why was the crawlspace built with vents if you're saying to close them off? Our house is a glorified double wide with a full brick exterior.

@briantaylor3351 thanks for watching. Closing the vents to add a dehumidifier. The vents haven't provided enough airflow to keep the humidity under control. Next step is to control the atmosphere on your own by sealing off the crawlspace. Encapsulation Helps remediate fungal growth. The dehumidifier sucks the moist air and blows dry. Keeping the vents open especially during summer months allows humidity to enter which than makes the system run constantly. Wow .that was a long response. 😆sorry.

Thanks for the feedback! What dehumidifier do you recommend? It's around 1400 square feet

@briantaylor3351 I've heard good things with the watchdog. Just make sure it's at least 85 pints per day. I've been around the santa fe brand and they seem to leak a lot underneath. It could be lack of maintenance. Change filter at least once a year. And blow out the discharge line cause they seem to get sludge build up. This is all once again my opinion. Make sure you get and take the manufacturers warranty. 5 to 6 years if possible. Dehumidifiers tend to kick the bucket. Thanks for watching. Let me know how you did.

A shim is not meant for this. Sadly amazing to me
