- Ironic, dizzy, pungent, poured out as a swollen river into the audience, dragged up to a final pounding chorus. Metaphor of "monsters", who are fading away, but don't disappear ever... From the homonymous album, epocal and incomparable: one of the creations of perfect balance in the art of Bowie.
I'll don't think we'll ever see charisma like this on stage ever again.
that's right and he raised music to an unsurpassed level (is that correct ? I'm not english)
Here here
I agree with all of you
Si, ici it's better again : ua-cam.com/video/3FwemvJU8j4/v-deo.html
And I WAS THERE as David's guest....
Wow you LUCKY Man ❤️🥳🥳
Love this line up - hard rock reworkings of many songs. Reeves Gabrels is incredible.
Reeves Gabrels another of Bowie's super lead guitarists....
David Bowie was on fire loved his performances during the late 90's . Scary Monsters, another one of my faves. I love this band, missing Carlos Alomar. Played well together. Zach Alford is my all time fave drummer. Thanks for sharing. Brings back great memories.

I fully share your admiration for Zachary Alford. He is in the foreground among my favorite drummers: his artistic sensitivity, his ability to possess the language of
music, his creative originality able to interpret the piece by living it accent for accent, his professionalism in sharing the sonority of the entire Band with the versatile rhythm of his brilliant touch... all this makes it look like
spontaneous, while we know that requires great talent and a long training.
Simply put, a clever Artist who plays for the Music. Along with Bowie on years 1995/1998, he also played for the masterpiece album "The Next Day" of 2013, chosen by the Master not by chance ... Thank you so much for all your kind attentions.
indeeed! and with such a band... i was lucky enough to see him in 1996
Sempre grande Bowie...love forever
That moment when Reeves kisses David with that 'smack'.... lovely
Reeves Gabrels... OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best and also funniest guitar solo heard since a lot of time. Amazing!
and i fairly certain this little girl. still does like this song at all.
It's fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Fiorella, wonderful video, full of life, energy and a pure delight to watch David at his playful best. Couldn't ask for a better Christmas present : ) ♥♥♥
He is the great Zachary Alford, whom I love very much. In addition to Bowie (for various Tours), he has played, among others, with Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel. Overwhelming energy and wonderful sense of rhythm. Thank you so much for the comment, very funny.
Monsters...fade, but never disappear!
Thank you for the opportunity to hear another Bowie performance *****
Regards
Susan

The Soul seems to be (besides admonitory Voice) our "Book of Life", which stores everything of us, including our ghosts not yet dissipated at the light of consciousness. Since fear is deeply rooted in human habit, we have a tough job to turn away these monsters, ha ha ... which regularly reappear in our minds if "Waiting at the light, know what I mean ...".
Thank you my dear Susan.
@theMusicofmyLife1 yes, I do know and understand.....many thanks again xx Susan
@racyweb
It's true dear Tracy: David Bowie, in addition to his incredible creative verve, has always loved interpret his singing intensely, including songs by others authors (...never obvious choices). His studies were accurate also on theatricality, as a mean of expression at the fullest level, for the purpose of communicating splendor in Music; nothing happens by chance. This should suggest to those who knew him little, professionalism and love which are behind a genius.
Thank you.
I was there! Fantastic as always.
Reeves gabrels?
@sannaols5582
It seemed also to me to have seen that fragment, time ago, but I can not remember where ... Sometime, the bootlegs give editions slightly changed.
Sorry that I cannot give new stuff (only a little better in quality audio/video, which is why I published), but probably will soon.
Thanks for your attention, dear.
Friptronics via robert...the personable tech. At its best in studio album of same song title
The guitar player here is great technically , knows all the tricks , etcetera . But i like Earl Slick and Bowie's other guitarists he had play with him throughout his long career . Just sayin . "to each his own", if you like him best your opinion is as legit as mine . peace, love and joy to all in this world , especially the vast majority who live in dire poverty .
Reeves Gabrels #1.
Robert Fripp played the original solo
Nunca hubiera dicho que encontrara un sacary monster Raquel Peiroten y Jose L Rubio & famili.
Whats the Name of the Drummer? He´s a Fucking Animal
His last great album. Of dozens.
Is the guitarist Mick Ronson or Brian May?
Hardly his last great album. Neither Ronson nor May would ever come up with the genius guitar solo. It is Robert Fripp on the album.
