@devy1440 Hi Devy, Im sorry to say that I haven’t tried asics badminton shoes yet. However the Eclipsions are a great shoe to try, its really supportive and stable! I’ll try to cover asics shoes, thank you so much for tuning in!
Thank you so much for tuning in!! For wide feet I would recommend Comfort Z3 from Yonex and P8500 from Victor! They are both great shoes for wide feet.
Hey, I'm deciding between the eclipsions and victor a970.. the a970 does not have good air ventilation(does not have the bottom vent like eclipsions) but it does fit me well.. and also people say that the yonex outsole is more durable.. which one should I go for? pls comment on air ventilation on both shoes specifically.. and which one you would recommend between the 2
@@aarjith2580 Hi there! Thank you for asking👋🏼 Ive tried both shoes and in terms of air ventilation, even though the a970s don’t have that air vent in the bottom it seemed like my feet didn’t sweat more than the eclipsions. I think its because the upper is thinner and softer than the eclipsions. Also for durability, I do agree that the eclipsion’s outsole is slightly more durable, but a970s aren’t that bad either! In addition, if you have narrow feet the A970s would be perfect for you in terms of fit. I have narrow feet and the fit of the A970s was by far the best of all the shoes I’ve ever tried! Cushioning and responsiveness wise, I think both have similar amount of cushioning. If you want more of that barefoot 1to 1 lock-in feel with the shoe, definitely go for the A970. I was actually filming a Victor A970 Nitrolite review right now haha since I loved the shoe so much, the video is gonna be up next week so please check it out🙌🏼 Hope my reply helped you out bro! @@RichardChoi_Badminton Hey, thanks for the reply! I got to try the A970 Ace not the nitrolite what's the difference between the two(I think only the nitrolite power cushion is the difference)? Also are both(eclip and a970) the shoes true to size (do mention the size that you're using)? and do they feel heavy at all compared to 65z3 while on court? Also tell me about the difference in grip that you feel between eclips and a970.. btw I think I have narrow feet but the eclipsions wide did fit decently for me definitely had more toe room though and as a final conclusion which shoes do you prefer between a970 and eclipsions? also let me know about other shoes from lining or babolat that are similar to these.. Too many questions i guess lol but here's another one: why do you think the 65z3 is most famous among professionals like Viktor Axelsen, Momota and many others?
@@aarjith2580 I tried both the ace version and the nitrolite version, from my experience there was not much difference. Even the cushioning felt almost the same! (Ace a little bit more bouncy) I always wear US size 8.5 in all shoes and went for the same for both A970s and eclipsions! I would say both of them run slightly small compared to other shoes but its not a dramatic difference. If you enjoy that extra lock in feel just like me, I recommend going true to size. In terms of traction, if you play a lot in wooden floor courts the A970 will work better and if you play in green official court mats the eclipsions will do better for you. If you want more pure grip on the floor the A970s are better! I actually thought about the reason why so many pros go for the 65z3s. My conclusion is that since pros have to change their shoes so often because of their intense training sessions and games, a shoe with absolutely no break-in time needed just like the 65z3s suit them perfectly. Also, the 65z3s dont really lack in any aspect, so its a trust worthy shoe. If you want more of a stable, supportive shoe go for the eclipsions. If you want more of a bouncier, responsive and fast shoe with a more bare foot feeling go for the Victor A970s! Hope my reply helped man☺️
@@HousesAreNotForSpeculating although it is a bulkier looking shoe than the 65z3s and the comfortz3s, when you actually try it you don’t feel draggy or slow at all!
