I’m surprised how artisan soaps didn’t dominate the list. I like that there was a very healthy seeming mix of artisan and European mass market soaps like Proraso, Mitchell’s, etc. This was definitely the best and most successful tag video of the year. Awesome job to you (and Anthony for helping) summarizing the findings!

Well done Todd. Great challenge and some great results. It’s a shame that more of the UK artisans in particular Phoenix and Beau didn’t feature. They have some great scents. I need to make a point of spreading the word about the UK companies. I’ll participate in the 2021 version for sure. Oh, I also like the fact you want to be a Yorkshireman with your flat cap on. We should all aspire to be one 😉
Funny you should mention that. I did not know that hat was associated with Yorkshire. However, my recent genealogy research has revealed my ancestors are from the Yorkshire area. There were 3 P&B mentions - Albion, Imperial Rum, and Achilles Last Stand.
It’s a beautiful part of the world. If you haven’t already you should visit someday. I’ll take you down the pit, take you greyhound racing and show you the sights and sounds of Yorkshire lands! I’m assuming the P&B didn’t get enough love to make the vid as I didn’t see them (maybe I missed it), but they make some great stuff and love that each soap has a story.
I am excited to do a V2.0 as a lot of things have adjusted slightly but I will give it a little time since there are new things coming soon. I can’t wait to see the other breakdowns, as this was very informative and it’s really cool to see the other side of these tag videos. Nice work!

II know this may potentially raise the quality of future participants videos, after they réalisé which reporting format to use... Well Pete, this came from all these shavers. It is not my list, but their's. Granted, it was only shavers who are on UA-cam. I have a couple of TOBs that I like very much (St. James and Peppermint), and I know the Grapefruit and of course Sandalwood are quite popular. I think people gave preference to smaller, artisan soaps over creams.
