With Petrifilm Plates, there are just three simple steps; inoculate, incubate, and interpret.
Start by removing the ready-to-use Petrifilm Aerobic Count Plate from the package. Next, dispense the prepared diluent onto the center of the plate, and use the Petrifilm Plate spreader to ensure an even distribution of the sample. Once inoculated, the Petrfilm Aerobic Count Plate is ready for incubation. Place the Petrifilm Plates in the incubator for the appropriate amount of time. Once incubated, the Petrfilm Plates are ready to be enumerated. Count colonies manually or with the Petrifilm Plate Reader Advanced.
