I Love Jack and Geoff's voices like they make me feel good.
i honestly never even plan on getting a lot of these games that they show, i just like listening to the commentary
Brilliant film reel to end on. The Third Man is such a good, classic movie.
When will you be uploading part 3? Can't wait to find more of these film canisters in the company of you guys!
@3nc0unt3r fast ward? It's sped up, if that's what you're asking.
I don't have the game but i still watch these videos and you guys convinced me to buy if
wow knowing all of these movies and remember watching them makes me feel old
"The Killers" reference was pretty funny. Leave it to Geoff to make it too. Music is so great. It serves so many purposes.
Heh, Jack and Geoff are really good at their job. I really don't care about achievements, but I watch this anyway because the commentaries are so awesome.
It's so satisfying picking up a film you've seen :D
Usually in videogames they make it so you mistakenly come across 1 or 2 of the collectables so you have an idea of what they are..it took me 21 hours to beat the game and i never came across one..thanks rockstar!!
@Guernicaman Nope, what happened was the movie was actually made in 1947, but they somehow lost the movie in that guy's courtyard. It took the production staff another 5 years to create the movie all over again. :)
I am really considering getting this game, but am torn between whether to get it for the 360 or the PS3. I would get it on the PC, but I'm not sure if they have it on the PC. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Why are ALL rockstar games so damn beautiful? The graphics, the size of the worlds...Everything about their games is awesome
The Lady from Shanghai- An Orson Wells classic set in New York.
The Third Man- Another Orson Wells film... a classic thriller set in Vienna
wow, A love all of these classics.... especially because I havent even seen one of them
@dynomyck8 the sense is that they are playing it on the xbox. and i'm guessing they weren't sure if the maps were the same in both games so they just added that for safety measures.
You saved me a good day of my life.Thanks.
I have a question about this game. When you're not on a mission, just free-roaming in L.A., does your partner always follow you?
Just a question about the game:
Is it free roam? How free roam is it? I've heard some criticism from people that the story is too short for a R* game..And I've played all GTA IV episodes, GTA games, and Red Dead Redemption..So uh..Define "short"..And even if the story IS short, is there still things to do in the game? >_>
Cuz I wanna chase down random people, and cuff them for no reason -_-
is this game worth picking up
Any idea on how long until part 3 is out? :D Great guide btw!
i love that M is found in a children's play area. the person who placed the reels is a clever bastard.
Do all RT employees that do these achievement guides use the same account on xbox and ps3? Or do they have there own personal ones they use.
I just completed this game 1 minute ago and I must say, game of the year
I heard this game is 3 discs on the 360? Is that true? Is it three on the PS3 as well?
@killumoron
1. Rockstar didn't make this, the presented it.
2. LA Noire has been being developed for years before Mafia 2 was released and announced
I wonder where the films are found is they have to be involved with the area around it
"The Narrow Margin" is a 1952 film.
The game takes place in 1947, so did Cole travel thru time?
@DalleKanelius They weren't being serious when they were referring to how realistic it was. It's still just a game.
Sandlot IS a CLASSIC!
I rented this game from blockbuster and trust me, I need to go out and buy it now. You need to get this game. Its better than the descriptions make it out to be. And now rooster teeth's influence causes me to spend another 60 dollars.
what do you get for collecting at the reels?
@skarredspartan there are three DVD disks for the 360, but only 1 blu-ray disk for the PS3
U guys are awesome :) but im wondering howmuch time it took to find them all :D
how do you get the big map, I cant find how to open it up in the menus
@westsidepride69 Well, it's on 3 separate disks on the 360 and on one on the PS3...There's no online so don't worry about which your friends are on. Just go for the one you play more.
@NICKWAPPERER117 the only thing diffrent is there is no weapon whell and run button is L1/RT
M is a German film, it is one of the first films to use sound and it is the first Serial Killer movie.
is there any online gaming with this game, like deathmatch etc?
@TheKarmacharger Oblivion: Skyrim, and Dead Island haven't released yet. Just sayin'
i love the ending of the black dahlia cases
Wait what? Erm you can get a Kelso outfit once you've finished? I tried doing Free Roam once I finished and I can only use Cole :|.
I'm waiting for casablanca to show up. Is that period worthy?
Dude i have to so i really like your let's play keep up the great work
do u have to get them in order like gold in red dead
Awesome, Westmoreland Ave made it in the game
@Shafournee Oblivion: skyrim? do u mean The Elder Srolls V: Skyrim?
@DamuEmran nope. theyre called either way. i was just lucky enough to be raised in a household which uses both forms of the word
@JeffChase2010 he was just saying that the game would have looked a bit better on PS3. besides, if all they did was focus on xbox 360 achievement, then why did they do it for games like uncharted?
is dat sprinting fast ward? or is it normal speed?
can't wait to get this!
dude! that was two Third Man Reacords references in one video, Allison Mossheart is in the band The Dead Weather (on the label) and the third man
how much percent GTA is this game and how much CSI?
@LazarVector what game is the birds on?
"Dial M for murder" is the hitchcock movie you were thinking of. M is a german silent film by Fritz Lang.
@xbankaix007 Night of the hunter? M? The Killers? Lady from Shanghai? you know there are other movies than michael bay movies right?
@baba1993 Yes he does, but if he gets stuck somewhere don't worry you can travel without him and he'll appear at your next case location.
Does anyone know if you can like mess around and go in stores and do a bunch of random stuff? So far for me the game is really story based and theres not much to do outside of that :\ nonetheless, its still amazing
@sixsixseveneight I was joking..What I mean is..I like games that are story driven..I was wondering if even WHEN the story is over, there are side missions..
This and mafia 2 are joint as my 2 favourite games of all time (to date)
keep up the good work guys :)
@Berean55 thats happened to a few xboxs and some more ps3's but its not happened to mine after I had a binge of 5 hours...
@heronmusic2000 No, this game is purely based on a singleplayer story.
Crossfire is also a free online first person shooter it's cool you should check it out
Wow it looks pretty cool. I think im gonna buy it :)
are the controls the same as RDR?
Of these films, I've seen White Heat, Night Of The Hunter, and The Third Man
I've heard them called teeter totter's and see saw's. Just because teeter totter was a term used over 50 years ago doesn't mean it isn't a correct term. Just go look it up. I don't know why like half of them comments I read were so hung up on this.
@lloideren Jack is working on collectible maps. So I'm sure he will have one for the films
does this have online?
Night of the Hunter! My favorite movie! Anyone wants to know where the tattoo on someones knuckles LOVE and HATE...THIS is the movie that it originally started.
That man can fairly run!
did they solve the overheating thing
I think when the character geoff was controlling got hit by the truck it was reminiscing the RT short Catch in the end when matt got hit by the truck
@zatida4444 if you intended to use your account properly, it says your age on your channel anyway
@xXUndeadStoneXx maybe it would be too hard to tell if they are lying so they didnt bother with them at all
M is actually by Fritz Lang, Jack
@themanduran59 maybe in the USA they did.but not anywhere else.
there are plenty of tutorials around for this, i dont even care...jack and geoff are finding them for me :D
Odd Man Out- Film about the Irish Mafia
The Night of the Hunter- A Serial Killer tries 2 find the location of stolen cash
The Narrow Margin- A cat- and mouse style thriller set on a train.
White Heat- A gangster classic.
Crossfire- A film about Anti-Seminitic hate.
M- Police chase a child stalker. ( Not the Hitchcock classic)
Thieves' Highway- A man returns home and tries to restore his family's honour.
The Killers- Two hitmen are assigned 2 kill 'The Swede' but are chased by a cop
can u finds the golden films in free roam?
@FrightNFight Bro, I'm on the last disc on most likely the last case. Tons of people are reporting freezes and RROD's. My xbox played everything perfectly until I put this game in.
The Third Man! Great movie!
It's amazing how Rockstar can make a giant open free roam city in a year, But i guess its because of experience. LA Noire is Great! Especially the graphics!
Roosterteeth has 1911 videos on youtube right now.
Also the year of the colt that Cole uses once he becomes a detective.
Coincidence!? I THINK NOT!
@rfgggg Why are you subbed to a Xbox channel if you're defending the PC?
@DaemonAnt
FINALLY!
Finally some one remembers...
Night of the Hunter is soooo epic
@69iambecomedeath89 it shows the map location before each one
'M' is such a sick movie!
@theDoTgaming Geoff's is somewhere aoud 90 thousand, I don't know about Jack though.
@12trubbs I'm guessing that Team Bondi really weren't worrying too much about finding noir films that were released before 1947.
I actually have yet to spot a film canister so far. found three badges though...
@Allan9798 they should put that on the main page, so when you get to u2be for the first few times, you would see that
I love how silly the phrase "teeter-totter" sounds to me, when "see-saw" sounds just as silly...
There are a number of ways L.A. Noire is similar to the GTA, series and RDR there is also a lot ways it is different. Obviously the Police side but they present the campaign storyiine with just as much background and intriguing dialogue as the GTA storyiine. The thing that is VERY similar is the amount of collectibles in comparison to GTA and RDR, the only exception being the size of them are a bit smaller because it is one city in LA Noire but it is set with the same amount of challenge.
@DrxyrdKxryrd in the video jack says sandlot not sandbox.
Geoff: the narrow margine me:giggity
I LOVE THE HILL SIDE MOTEL
