Hello Ali, please make a video how to calculate or create renko bars or fixed point bars, range bars........ and how to include duplicate orders or repeat orders in algowizard ...... Thank you very much for your work waiting for new videos....

@@StatOasis ok, I understand, but bars with a fixed range are like range bars, I saw what is there in the algo options, a fixed pips and a range bars, but I didn’t understand how to use them, which is more correct, what is the difference between them .... and how to open repeating orders on each new bar or how to open a position say in 1 lot and after a few points close in parts, 0.2 ... or 0.3 ... or 0.5 .... or on one bar you need to open say 5 orders but with different profits ????? thanks if you help with these questions, if you can’t make a video about it publicly, you can make it and send it separately to the mail ????? ... Thank you, I appreciate your work, I learned and understood a lot from all your videos ... thanks for your work and time ....
you can only use time based bars, what you are referring to is stop loss and profit target that you can do it in ATR, %, pips, and $.
pyramiding in or out can be done with programming, by creating a variable for position size and adding a condition for each exit

Hey Ali, just want to quickly say your videos inspire me! I am in a group that trades very well but I want to do it myself and have been learning SQX.

It seems that the stock picker template does not contain the same formulas as the standard AlgoWizard. Do you know why this is? E.g. if i want the RSI2 strat i cant select the RSI level crossing version that AlgoWizard has.
stockpicker is synced to the engine in the cloud so you can move the strategies to trading easily.
not all features are available in the cloud, but RSI2 is definitely available
can you explain how to create our own portfolio for stockpicker engin?(creating own grop symbole)

Over the Black Friday weekend I picked up Multicharts. Besides the random strategy generation, it seems like SQX is basically the same thing? I believe you said in the past you use Multicharts for trading. I'm curious, why do you use SQX as well? I also wonder if the new autotrading setup will work in Canada. Last time I looked Alpaca isn't really here yet. One thing is for sure, I'm learning autotrading with Multicharts is a real pain to setup and get working. The program UI is really a total mess.
you can have Alpaca account not for trading just to hook to your broker.. this new trading will open a lot of doors to trade stocks portfolio, SQX is amazing with robustness, automation, coming up with new ideas, but Multicharts shine in design flexibility, portfolio testing and trading, connectivity with multiple brokers globally.
each one serve a different purpose. I have more good news for Multichart users, stay tuned!
Can I build the strategy on my Mac, which is more powerful and then transfer it to PC on the VPS?
Mac version is not always in sync with pc version, i suggest u try virtual windows like parallels and use SQX for PC bith have a trial version , if u want yo buy SQX use code “STATOASIS” for 23% off go.statoasis.com/sqx
Hi Ali, one question, Do you have any strategy portfolio build by SQX running on Forex real live account for yourself (personal)? how much annual return% and DD% did you earn?
I ask because it motivate me to work harder ;-)
I don't trade forex, but i do trade currencies through futures inside a portfolio. targeting 25-40% CAGR is my goal when building strategies, but you have to understand it is not like a salary where every month you get a certain figure, most mean reversion strategies made 50-100% returns last couple of years, but you can't expect to make that every year.
Have they fixed the Data that comes with the program so startegys match in tradestation for Futures?, Or is it still an issue?
All data vendors will have discrepancies, so unless the import TS data, they will always be issues.
but with stockpicker engine u can use same data to test and trade
new to algo trading. i only trade equities at this point and know some programming. do you see any big advantage for me to go with SQX instead of just staying inside of TradeStation for now? thanks
SQX is not perfect and is not competing with TS, but SQX new cloud trading will let trade a strategy on a portfolio of stocks with defined maximum number of positions, with VPS hosting that is a big advantage.
