Like I mentioned in the video, you can't do this strategy with any platform. Currently only Strategy Quant X can execute this directly, but other platforms can test it like Amibroker, but not Tradestation
hi teacher, do you know any way (or using strat quant) to convert a strategy code from easy language(tradestation,multicharts) to mql5(metatrader)? thanks!
Not that I know of
I recently discovered I had to optimize on half of the historical data and then apply the final parameters to the other half after only a few iterations of optimizing. Turns out 100 parameter adjustments are too many, overoptimized on noise, and don't apply universally to the rest of the data. A smooth curve of improving performance on one half starts to decline after 4 or 5 iterations when applied to the other half.

@@paulmathews4335 I'm talking about parameter tuning. You maximize returns in one time frame by tuning parameters too much, and it starts to have negative results in other time frames, e.g., the future
Hi Mr Casey : thank you very much for this lecture it is a very nice gem how to look at Russel 2000 for a medium and safe cap to trade, just brilliant , please i would ask you if it is possible in the nearest future please to breakdown as algo-trading the concept of the consolidation expansion then the big move i did trade this concept in discretionary way and it work buy i confess to you during the period of expansion i had some difficulty to distinguish to trend even using for example 1 hour and daily , i coded in mt4 really hard , buy i want to learn from you the most important steps for to see what thing i should correct, and please if it possible to demystify and to breakdown the Richard Demille Wyckoff method in order to improve market timing when putting on a position by anticipating a coming move that has a favorable reward/risk ratio, thank you very much Sir before hand, God Bless you.
