I love snow. All those unique and individual flakes joining together to create a beautiful and peaceful landscape. Imagine if humans did that. Wartime farm was a great series
So good to see the kiddos having fun in the snow! I love Sarah's commentary and her videos of the scenery it was really nice. Wow on the strawberries awesome!❤
I'm in northern Illinois so the snow isn't unusual for us but I have to say it's absolutely gorgeous & picturesque on your beautiful property. Fun to see everyone outside in it. And I was thinking how perfect those cinnamon rolls were for a cold, snowy morning. ❄☃ Nice to meet Wesley!
❤ What an exciting day for the children! I enjoyed watching them play and the excitement that showed all over their faces! Rebekah just tickled me so much. She is really growing up fast. Sarah, Your greenhouse plants look beautiful! Looked good to see green plants and some fruits and berries. With all the snow it was great to see the Greenhouse! Btw, I thought I saw some Dusty Miller plants but the camera went by too fast for me to be sure. I used to plant them in my yard. I liked them because they reminded me of angels. If y’all had your snow on my hills you could really sleigh ride. When I was a kid we slid on flattened out cardboard boxes, inner tubes and our regular sleds. Stay warm and stay safe. If you’re on live tonight I hope to see you all then. Love n prayers! 🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜🛷🛷❄️❄️
It's always such a pleasure to watch your family! Sarah has a beautiful voice and when she explains things you can hear the compassion. The snow was a hit here in north Texas too. Y'all take care and until the next video...❤
Omg I love fresh falling snow. I love the crunching under your feet. I live in Florida we don’t get snow. But I grew up in dekalb ny and had a lot of snow.
WOW!!! Congratulations on the success of your greenhouse and keeping it warm enough!!! The other reason why it’s warmer has to do with thermal mass. You are having incredible success with your plants growing in soil. Have you ever looked into hydroponics as another way of growing food? It’s pretty simple with nutrient rich water. God bless all of you!🥰❤️👏🏻🙏🏻🍁🇨🇦 I thought you had a food processor? When you have large blocks of cheese like that using the large shredder blade will cut a huge block in minutes and put the whole thing in hot soapy water and it cleans so fast and easy. Just a suggestion.
Hi Janice and family, it’s truly a magical spot you live in. Imagine those on earth who have never experienced it. Imagine those in California right now. I’m sure it would be , just too overwhelming. I sure love your videos and want to thank you for your hard work. I sure wish I could have a winter garden, and a friend like Sarah. It’s only January, let’s not take this for granted. 😮. I’m in MN.
Janice, we got over a foot of snow here in Indy. I enjoy watching the kids frolick and play in the snow. I bet little Rebekah konked out after playing. That soup looks so yummy! 😋
I am guessing Wesley now has a home !? I hope so he looks like such a friendly and nice natured dog :) Lovely to see your healthy and happy family enjoying life's simple but exciting pleasures . Blessings to you all 😄
Thank you, Janice, for sharing. What a lot of snow that you got. I did enjoy watching Miss Rebekah getting exciting about the snow. Boy, Sarah is enjoying her green house visit. Talk to you later.

Loved watching the kids playing in the snow ⛄️…brings back such good memories from my childhood when we had a good snowfall. Also, loved when Sarah filmed the quietness outside and the sound of the snow crunching when she walked! ❤
Hello everyone in the Ozark! So nice to see everyone enjoying a snow day! Your place is so pretty in the snow ( not that it isn't in other weather), but the quiet mixed with the kids' laughter made it well worth watching it! Thank you😊
Cool narnia .we have no snow this year. Wonderful to see the kids have so much fun. Sara my brothers used to do the tree thing 2.5 miles home from school. I was youngest then. Must say I cried a lot . They laughed . Haha
Enjoyed watching the kids playing in the snow. What fun they were having. I can remember sledding and building snowmen. That was back in the 50s. Yes that makes me 77. We had a good Snow here in Southern Illinois this time. Where my husband and I live now. Originally we are from Central Illinois, always had snow up there. You have a wonder family and life. God Bless
Hi Janice & family,Rebekah just makes me smile.Such a happy little one.Growing up in Iowa we loved building snowmen & igloos. In south Texas I have only seen a bit of snow 3x.The kids are all having fun & memories.❤
We love Aldi and have to drive over an hour to get to ours! We go once a month! I love their salad greens. We have six kids so ALDI is a staple! Love from Maine ❤
I really enjoyed your video ! We got 5 inches here in mountains of North Carolina .. The kids had a blast ! I must compliment Sarah's green house , her plants looks absolutely beautiful . healthy and green
Today is Tuesday, it's snowing in Northern Florida! (Pensacola) ❄️❄️❄️❄️☃️ Mean while I'm in toasty south Florida and still running my a/c it 70 degrees at 10:30 pm
I've now watch the video Sarah is also such a cool young lady show so many different interests and talents. Also I'm very glad you guys got more space I didn't realize how small the bedrooms were in your house so the kids were a bit crammed in there. I think putting the boys room in the top part of The Summer kitchen is a good idea gives everybody more room and your older boys more privacy to be a little bit more independent.
Our ice melted off of our trees yesterday. I also made potato soup yesterday. The girls room looking great. I’m sure everyone will sleep well tonight ❤
Meanwhile, here in Alaska, we’ve had almost no snow this fall/winter. It’s been raining, then freezing overnight, so everything is slippery! So glad the children enjoyed the snow! I made a big pot of potato soup, too. YUM!
My family loves potato soup! We always have it Christmas Eve. My recipe sounds much like yours but my “secret” is to add 1 package instant garlic mashed potatoes to thicken it. Adds extra flavor and works great!
Are you excited about more snow or not, Lori? I think we're just supposed to be bitterly cold here. I'm not aware of us getting much precipitation. We will be keeping an eye out for the sourdough book. I haven't told Sarah that you ordered it, so she will be so happy when it arrives! :)
Lori, I sure do hope you see this reply to your comment! We have received the sourdough book and it is just amazing! She is picking out recipes left and right that she wants to try out. Thank you so, so, so very much for blessing our family the way that you do. You brought a smile to my girl's face and I am especially grateful for that! :)
We got up to 40 degrees today, here in Tulsa. Wesley is a handsome boy! So glad you were able to help a stray dog. So irresponsible to dump a dog, esp. with cold/bad weather forecast. Last week we got your snow storm we got ice and 5-6 inches of snow. So glad the kids had fun in the snow. Makes me happy😊😊
Please be careful not to fall thru ice on pond. It has to be fairly thick to hold people. Beautiful snow! Weve had it like that since November - here in Manitoba. Skidoo weather! Thanks for sharing💖
Shalom Janice!☕ Soooo great to see this beautiful family enjoying life!🥰 Gotta try that cinnamon roll recipe!😋 God bless you and your precious family!🙏🕊️
What a fun day!!! ❄️❄️❄️ We only got about 2 inches here in the part of NC where I live and I have been in the bed sick since a Friday night. Missed the whole thing. Rats! But I have had those mattresses BEFORE and they are GREAT!! Wish I still had one! Also still wish I had my own home, but I’m not going to complain because the Good Lord is still allowing me to wake up each morning. 🙏 Thanks for the great entertainment this afternoon! ❤⛄️❤⛄️❤ And that potato soup looks and sound SO DELICIOUS!!!! Wish I had a giant bowl right now! 🍲🥄🍲🥄🍲🥄😋😋😋
Fun Fun Fun, the children playing and enjoying the snow. Janice, your potato soup looked warm and delicious! The girls room is looking good! The snow is beautiful. I live in Ohio ,we get a lot of snow, after a few we get tired of it, Lol 😆 😊❤🙏 Ms. Ruby
Ok, settled in with a hot cup of tea…. Sarah, yes, the scenery reminded me of Narnia…. Wondering if Mr. Tumnis was around the corner or he and she beaver in their homes at the pond….. also, Sarah, have you thought about doing hydroponics? I have a small one on my porch mostly for tomatoes, cucumber and carrots…. What a pleasant visit. ❤
So glad the kids had fun in the snow.... the Potato Soup looked out of this world!!! And I LOVE that series on UA-cam!!! Hoping to make the live soon.... Holidays were busy!!!
Wellesley enjoyed all the frolicking. We've only had snow once where I live in Wellington New Zealand but we've taken the kids the the mountains several times ❤
What a fun filled day for your children ❤❤❤ it really warmed my heart❤ They ALL work so hard for just being kid’s,they really deserve a few days of FUN. 💕🙏🙏

That was a fun snowday! Wehad snow last week, so I was worried about getting to work into the next town, but all the trains were on time. I love the farm-videos. Especcially Ruth Goodman. She wrote a couple of books about everyday life in different eras. Maybe that would be interesting to you as well? She does some shorts about aspects of victorian times, as well, but she startet off, as an expert on the tudor-era and worked as an advisorfor the Movie Shakespeare in love. Just as a fun fact.😊
When my 5 children were young, It snowed only a few times here in the mid-south. But when it did, they stayed outside all day. I miss those days of their laughter and playing. Yep. I cannot tell you how much laundry it created. It was all worth it. Now they are adults and prefer to stay in front of the fireplace. 🙂. They just think it's pretty now. I love the way your children find joy in so many things.

Love the new puppy.
When I was young we had a toboggan and sleds on the hills by our farm. Super fun in the winter!!!!
I love watching all the people online that never get to see snow very often. We live in Ohio and see it every year.
I live in Scotland where it's rarer not to see snow out mountains are almost permanently under a blanket of the stuff
My family loves potato soup! We always have it Christmas Eve. My recipe sounds much like yours but my “secret” is to add 1 package instant garlic mashed potatoes to thicken it. Adds extra flavor and works great!
Thanks for showing the snow. Its beautiful
Perfect day to see a film in town; there's a lot of children's movies out now! My granddaughter loved the Sonic movie & I loved Wicked! 💚
You're getting more snow than where I live in Minnesota. Roads are bad here and hundreds of accidents and vehicles in ditches.
The kids had a fun snow day! Loved watching the video. TFS ❤️
we are expected to get 3 to 6 inches sun to mon here in western mass. The sourdough book should be arriving by wed.
