That's really cool that UA-cam showed this to a Belleville person! Thank you so much for the kind words. We have an episode coming up with Dad and Mary-Elizabeth where we'll be talking about how he and Mom found out they were having a girl. ♥️

We grew up with 5 of us! In the 60s. We had a fantastic life! Always, working together to live the best lives we could! We recently lost our parents, our family has grown too! We are all still together every chance we get! 😊
I think it's great that they boys are helping Mom with this chore. Thank goodness for the trailer too. I really like your can good cabinet, every kitchen should have one.
We are a family of 3, two adults and an 8 year old. We spend a good 250 to 300 a week on groceries. Everything is so expensive these days I only shop at Walmart and foodmaxx to save money. My husband comes home for lunch, saves us quite a bit too
My parents have nine kids and our Mennonite grandparents and our English grandparents. My dad who is a Mennonite comes from a family of 18 and my mom who is English comes from a family of 16. We all grew up in the 50's and 60's and 70's and 80's and we had 50 acea fram and farm animals and we had over 100 hundreds chickens that lay fresh eggs and 20 daily cows that we milk two times a day.we grow our fresh vegetables and fruits and made our own butter and cheese and yogurt and ice cream and we made our only laundry soap and dishes soap. My dad and five brothers would go deer hunting and go fishing the only time my parents would go to the grocery stores to get larger packs of paper towels and paper plates and toilet paper.
That's pretty cool! We actually know a few Mennonite families in upstate NY in the Finger Lakes region. We have gotten close with them and visit up there almost every year. Where are your people from?
I think I am being resourceful by baking all our bread from scratch. I got a sourdough starter from a friend and never looked back at buying bread from the grocery stores. I can bake a large round of sourdough dough bread (3 ingredients only) for $1.50 a round. I bake 4 rounds a week. My children are grown and out on their own but want my bread and no more store bought bread. 😂
