@@paulbrown1079 flip flops haha you definitely are from England. They’re called thongs mate. Cheers mate, that lifter was a good investment. Definitely comes in handy!
All Mitsubishi Electric minisplit indoor units open that way, old and new. Newer ones have detachable corner pieces, which makes it much easier to open
Hello mate, great video! I work with this in Brazil! I would like to know, if possible, how much you charge for an installation service like this! Ps: I found the organization of the equipment in the car very cool and the tools too!

@@MentalLapse09 I haven’t but to be fair, I do my own Daikin warranty so i just do what I want and it’s no questions asked. If I got someone else to do it, maybe they would question it. I have heard that using 3 core and earth cable isn’t ideal so I should probably change cables but I’ve never heard of anyone actually running unit Daikin warranty problems. It wouldn’t surprise me though.
I keep an offcut of solder in the toolbag bent into a little hook for unclipping the bottom of those indoor units 🤙🏻
I use two tie-wraps.
@@jimmyteesahn thanks for the tip mate. I’ll be doing the same haha.

@@moisander8858 ah okay. If the sides detach, that’d be easier!
@@maracservices Yeah, on older ones if they are not going to be re-installed, i just hammer or cut the corners so i can get my fingers under
I use a cable tie to unclip, slide the "head" of the tie behind the unit and pull
@@craigladewig3158 that’s a good idea mate
A nice neat job Mitchel, as always, i did miss Tom operating that lifting hoist 😉 😉 👍
