Morning Tori, I'm loving your videos. I love the chicken and the felting. It is such an adorable thing to sit down and stitch. I pick out Actors I know to play the parts in my talking books and that makes the book come to life. Sometimes I get so engrossed and start talking back to the characters if I think they are going to do something silly or dangerous. Please keep your videos coming I am trying out so much more stuff now. BRILLIANT AND INSPIRING!!! x
Binge watching your videos cause its toooooo cold outside its only in high 30s brrrrrrrits supposed to be spring time...so im glad im able to binge watch and rewatch your videos for inspiration...mikelle art mom✍🎨👩🎨🇨🇦🇺🇸💛
So cute. Very entertaining video. Stephen King is on my “next up” list. Just finishing Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, an enjoyable read. Now I’m off to try the chicken. TFS.
Thank you Beeja! I’m so pleased you enjoyed it. Stephen King is one of my all time favourites and so I read everything he writes :). Enjoy creating your chicken! 🐔 🥰
Wow this is genius! And your chick is so cute 😍 I'm scared of those needles because I stabbed myself too many times lol I usually do this for my dolls hair but I think I'll have a go , looks so fun. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks Gaby! 🥰. Yes those needles are quite sharp and I have sometimes caught my finger with one. I think it’s great for doll hair - do you use wool locks? :) I’d love to see your version of this 🥰😍
I love needle felting pictures. I have done some needle felting with armature but I find it more work. I have a ton of needle felting needles and I have been doing it off an on for 7 years. Maybe I will try this one I love chickens
Welcome home Tori! Oh this is so cute, I'm definitely going to try something like this, I have loads of felting wool, what a great way to use some of it up, thanks for the inspiration! :)
Thank you Annie! It’s good to be back and I think I brought some sunshine back with me too as it was beautiful today. I’m glad you liked the video :). Xx
I've just bought that Stephen King audiobook after you said about it before, can't wait to finish the one I'm on so I can start that one. Totally agree about the voices and the narrators, I can't listen if the narrator has it "wrong" :D
I’m loving that audio book so far! Trouble is that if I listen in bed I inadvertently fall asleep and have to keep skipping back to where I dropped off! Hehe! I always use the audio “taster” now to save myself the expense of buying an audio book with a dodgy (to me) narrator! 🤣🥰. I hope you enjoy it when you listen xx
Life’s hard atm and my piece reflects my pain. I feel we are all in it together. This is just starting, never slow stitched before. Not as relaxing as I thought but maybe if I persevere? Anyone got any ideas? It’s very thick as I didn’t separate the collars and cuffs and I haven’t begun stitching. Any advice on needles etc. thank you for your videos and calm voice. You are helping me more than I can say 🤗❤️💐 Can’t post pic however it’s thick denim and cotton shirt cuffs, zip, studs, buttons etc
Hi there - I think perhaps the thick denim and the stiffener in the collars and cuffs may not be helpful to start with - the easiest fabrics to stitch through are calico, wool based fabrics such as felt or blanket material. Chenille needles are good especially for thicker threads. Threads can be whatever you have on hand :)
I love watching you. Your humor makes me laugh. Think I will give this a try.
I’m so pleased that you are enjoying it Rhonda :)
Have fun with making your own spring chicken - would love to see what you come up with 🥰😊
Loved watching.....Thank you for the PDF file🙂
Thank you and you are so very welcome 🤗😊
Giving the chicken a black eye made me laugh out loud 😂 I just love your videos!

Such a cute piece and I definitely had a good laugh counting with "the Count" lol.
Thank you Irene! I have to say that “The Count” was one of my favourite Sesame Street characters! 🤣🥰❤️

Haha! That’s good to know that someone gets me hehe :) 🤣🥰
