i've stuck to a sell thru rate of 50% for the last 3 months, literally pumped the life back into my store. my sales doubled with half the items I previously had. sell thru rate is key!!
I appreciate your content and the speed that you pesent it. My comprehension rate is more with your rate of speaking. I have time to think and process your information for greater retention. Thank you.
FYI, AG has pants with italian fabric, japanese fabric, and they raw/selvedge denim that sell for more money, have been able to sell a few. for $35-$40 + $10 shipping. new BOLO is ULLA Johnson, I sold a pair for $300 today NWOT, paid $6.99
I just got into clothing 2 years ago but not really serious about it. Your content has helped so much with my clothing sales. I have increased my time shopping and its made a huge difference already! Very good advice. I have not found many of the brands you mention but I have definitely has improved with my style base shopping. Still looking every week for new brands.
I've been a long time reseller of mostly crafting and hard goods. (part time since the late '90's) I just started picking up jeans and some other clothing, but mostly jeans, to switch over. Thanks to your guidance I've been picking up some great items. RRL's???? Oh, my.....men's shirts for $1 at an estate sale! This weekend is zero hour.....I'm listing clothing hot and heavy! Wish me luck!!!! ( I never even thought about Men's clothing until watching you! ) So, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for sharing your knowledge.
Wow. Where I live. There are crap brands. Everything you showed I've never seen before except Patagonia. I've only seen it here once or twice and they mark that up to $20 plus. Anything they think is a decent brand they mark so high. Regular brand jackets here are in the teens. A regular low brand sweater is $8. It's insane
My goodwills are too expensive now to source from. Shirts are 8 to 10 bucks. Dresses same... People on garage sales are trying to sell their clothes at ebay prices and in winter no garage sales. I can buy in bulq but then i end up getting 1/3:that are not sellable. Everyone on facebook are also pricing to make a profit.
Same here. ! I was blown away when I tried to do some yard sailing this summer. The prices people were asking were crazy. I just walked away and went to the bins. All the stuff they're trying to sell is gonna end up at the bins because nobody's paying that at a yard sale.
@@carlawaldemar1557 I buy new with tags fresh up to to date clothing in bulk. about 4.00 a piece delivered to my door. The company will refund my damage items if its too much damage. great company. no more fighting over the bins or crowds or having to wash clothing or messing with goodwill. Game changer for sure. I have a sell through rate of 60% so most of my items sell fast!
I agree with everything you mentioned in this video. I sell women’s clothes and have started.paying a bit more for great brands and I’m making more money. Makes my time worth more money per hour invested. Thank you for sharing all your info.
UCLA Bruins Jacket Mens Large Blue Trefoil. Surprised that golden state jacket isn't higher its pretty dope. What is your active to solds? Just curious been working on clearing out the not good stuff to get that ratio 50% would like to get up to 100% some day.
What if your prAna pants has no style code due to it being old or being ripped off the Jeans/pants? Also started taking a bit more risks when it comes to paying up, paid 12-15 for a Rhoback polo but sold it the next day for a good margin!
That's a tough one, if there is no style code it would be difficult to identify the proper model. You could try google lens. Nothing wrong with paying up for items. Great sale!
Yeah, I love Missoni! I was only listening and had to double check it out visually when I heard his price! 😂 Turns out his is a Mazzoni, so not the same, but still decent, especially nwt. 👍
You made $67 on those sneakers. It's definitely not terrible but it sounds like it's going to be so much better than it acctually is. Starts at $175, then you accept $125. Then on ebay you have paid your selling fee on the original cost of goods, making them actually cost $46. Clearly they sold VERY FAST, which is actually the most important factor in that particular sale. If you pay up and then sit on items, then your money is tied up. I wrestle with this one. I purchased a "designer" purse new which had good STR. I paid $65 for it. When I realized that I only ended up making $20 I decided all the stress (worrying if it would sell at all, watching others with the same new item race to the bottom, weeks of no views or offers) wasn't worth it! Extremely high sell through rate is the only reason to outlay that much cash for one item in my opinion, unless you have a lot more open to buy than I do!
I found a Columbia womens bugaboo jacket at the goodwill bins today. Ski jacket??? Needs to be washed - good condition otherwise. Are bugaboo jackets decent?? If not, I’m probably out $2.00. Haven’t figured out my cost per item yet. 😊
Beau. I have about 16 burberry suits I want to sell. They are going for 200 a suit at a store in lake oswego is this something you would want. Bulk price. ?
I'm about 5 mins in, but what are you paying for items on avg? You said you are "paying up." What are you finding your profit margin or net profit to be? It's really starting to be a bit of a squeeze.

Let's goooo!
How do you figure out the sell through rate?
@brandonweaver740 number of sold listings divided by number of active listings x 100
how do you find enough items with 50% STR? I almost never find any. If I find 30% it's a very good day.
@brandonweaver740 number of sold listings divided by number of active listings x 100. This is based of 90 day history

Do your research first, don't buy and buy because you will end up with a massive death pile. My first mistake.
The best college basketball coach! Thank you for recognizing him! I’m a Hoosier. I am now a subscriber. Did you sell that sweater yet?

well done I was rather shocked that croft and barrow anything had value. The Gooch Shirts are new to me.
Same for me! Sold the Gooch shirt same day it was listed for $40 plus shipping. Was missing 1 button as well. Another new brand to add to the list.
Joes jeans! I leave those behind bc I can’t find good well through for them
I pick them up for $5, and price them at $25. They sell well in my store.

When you sell Nike do you have to be ungated
Thay leather jacket was a missoni? If i remember correctly i sold one last year for well over $100

Slightly different brand but still picked it up should go for at least $20 plus ship.

I have a 100% cashmere men’s sweater that I found a hole in the bottom. Is it still worth it to post it? Will it sell with the flaw?
Yeah I would just note the flaw in the description.
People sometimes save their cashmere items that are flawed and sell them as a lot and make a good amount. 😁
I appreciate your videos so much!! I really believe God sent you.

Yeah I would just double check the sold comps on eBay before listing.

You have security tags on your jeans bro. 😆
Most resellers have the sensor remover guns
@@notyourfriend5899no we don’t have sensor remover guns 😂

I hate to say it, but if I resort to selling clothes I’ll go back to Walmart
Because you'll make more money?
For those of us who just love to shop thrift stores, sales, etc.- why not make some money while doing it?
I used to feel te same way, then I actually started doing mens clothing and it's now by far my favorite category
Oh man, you'll never find clothes to resell at Walmart.
old athleta even nwt is garbage
Very nice haul
