    I was a 1968 Vietnam Tet Combat Veteran .I Salute Lt.Col.Matt Urban . In no way could I Measured up to this man ! Listening to his story brought tears to my eyes ! This Greatest Generation had so many Real Men ! Salute !

    I had the Honor of meeting this man in Holland, MI.. He was humble with no pretense about him. I thanked him for his service as I shook his hand, he smiled and said "you are welcome".

    My stepfather's best friend. My stepfather saved his life. Matt said he earned more medals than Audie Murphy.

    What a contrast between heroes. LTC Urban sustained so many horrific injuries during his time in combat whereas Audie Murphy seemed to live acharmed life by comparison.

      I agree. LTC Urban is nearly forgotten, which is a shame for how much he sacrificed. His story was one of the main inspirations for this show. I wanted to share these hero’s stories to the best of my ability.

    I learned a lot at New York military academy😊 a mention the guy called the Ghost during lectures about,,battles of WW2

      He, Matthew Urbanowitz, changed it to Urban, not the podcast. It’s a very well known part of his life.
