Basically, if you're not using "Filter 2", then "Insert 2" isn't going to have any effect by default as the Inserts are for use for each Filter separately. So, to enable Inserts 1 & 2 for us on Filter 1, you have to do these steps. Open the "Routing" tab Change the highlighted tab "Ins 2" on "Filter 2" and change it to "Ins 2" on the "Amp/Pan" which is to the RIGHT of everything I previously mentioned. After you've done this correctly, "Insert 2" will now have its effect on "Filter 1".
FOR A CLEARER MIX: Change the LFO shape to a triangle wave. Turn the FREQ to around 1 o clock and boost that a little (like 1 o clock). Put the size on the DIM EXPANDER down to nothing. And turn on noise, change it to BRIGHT and turn the amp to like 8 o clock.
I made it, but it has a gap between release and attack or something. I've been sound designing for 2 years now, so I'm fairly new. Could you drop a download link? I already got an idea for a banger
It's quite easy to accidently stumble across the basis of the sound. I was making a wobble with the scream filter, and added a subbass into the same instace for whatever reason. I then just messed with feedback and parabolic shaper and other things until I got something really close to the original.
sry for bothering you but at the begging of your tutorial you seem to have that sample. do you have some link to download it or did you just took it out of the song?
Sure there are several ways to mimick this sound, but do you think people would be asking for tutorials of it if it were so easy to "accidentally" make? Plus, I haven't seen a tutorial this close to the original sound yet, if there is, please present it! Btw, I make enough of my own sounds to release the next 100 EP's by Rob Swire. ;)

Lol, that's the same, you're putting one oscillator apart from the other for 36 semitones in both options.

the short triangle and the chinese wave is more closer but its still good.

Sure, Dimension Expander isn't needed if you want a thin sound.
You have to reroute insert 2 to get it to work.

Its because your LFO is set to sync. So it will wobble at the tempo that your track is set at.
