Yes people should buy it cos it's the only vr headset that is affordable and have next gen features like fov rendering eye tracking haptics and dual sense features with potential of bringing big triple a games
As someone who owns both quest 2 standalone and psvr2, my quest 2 will literally never touch my face again
Until you get bored of the game library 2 months from now and realize its missing all kinds of experiences.
@@blastofo nah
@@AristotleBabyBottlehe ain’t wrong psvr has good gaming experience but a quest has far more you can do on it. It’s quality vs quantity. And the quality on quest depending on who you are and far your willing to go in quest isn’t that bad. The thing about the quest is it not just how you get it out the box not only are there updates but you can do things to make it better your self, as well as there just again far more to do and psvr is much more limited.
@@blastofo nah I will never get bored of Pavlov that's for sure and SaS chapter 2 is releasing soon i'm going to put a lot of time in that
Off the top of my head, here are things I can think of when it comes to psvr 2 vs quest:
More affordable.
Portable.
Capable of PCVR, and Rift games. You're not locked down to one ecosystem.
Wireless is far superior for many games, and safer. But you can still play wired.
Controllers have 30 hour battery life on a single AA battery.
Much larger library of games.
Built in 3d audio speakers. It's compatible with bluetooth earbuds and headphones.
Good free games like Blaston, Gun Raiders, Pokerstars VR, and Population One.
Every game has a demo since they can be played for 2 hours and refunded easily.
Games have multi generation support.
Games with cross play. You get the native Quest 2 and pcvr version for the price of one.
Huge selection of inexpensive aftermarket accessories. You can use different kinds of headset straps.
Social apps like vrchat and recroom. Virtual tourism apps like Google Earth and Wander.
VR video content with UA-cam VR and it's own VR video channel.
Fully functional web browser that support VR content for adult sites.
Controller free hand tracking. Mixed reality games.
You can cast the headset to a smartphone with footage of the player embedded into the gameplay.
Built in fitness tracking.
Multiplayer games will have a larger pool of players on Quest 2, with 14 million owners.
VR games on Steam can be had for lower prices. Games on the Quest 2 store will go on sale more often.
No issues with the mura effect or small sweet spot. Many games don't take advantage of the psvr2's features.
Quest 2's guardian system works better
Can be modded with SideQuest for experimental and unreleased apps and games
Quest 2 is sold at retail stores so purchasing, returns, and exchanges are easier and faster, plus extended warranty options
I’ve never really experienced VR. Years ago I played a quest 2 for all of 20 min. I bought a PSVR2 and have had no issues with motion sickness at all! Really loving it, feels like I am discovering video games again for the first time!
As someone who uses PCVR with a Quest 2 and just recently got a PSVR2, the PSVR2 demolishes the Quest 2 in almost every way, and that includes the PCVR options. The graphics and features that the PSVR2 offers is insane. The only way to get anything close is to spend upwards of $2k on a higher end PCVR headset and a super powerful PC, and even then, you're missing out on the optimization that PSVR2 has.
The only downside is that the library of games isn't as big, but that's to be expected for a brand new console vs steam VR which has had years to build up. The library of games at launch for PSVR2 is still very impressive and will only continue to grow.
I don’t know any pcvr headsets that can compete with the psvr2 atm. Thought about getting one but watching this video and the motion sickness problems seems like the chances are low.
You forgot to mention the pain in the ass that fighting against your hardware and software to play PCVR is.
Serioulsly, I sometime passed hours to be sure that my headset and controllers are connected and that the game I'm trying to play lauches properly.
But with PSVR2, you just plug your headset, you turn the controllers on, you choose a game, and it just works (I haven't got any problems with my controllers yet, so I can consider myself lucky I guess.).
@@rayanessaidi1674 exactly, and this is a completely valid critique of PCVR. I would gladly pick erase of use over getting 1% higher graphical fidelity
You can't really compare them until the quest 3 comes out the quest 2 is almost 3 years old
Definitely some good points here. I bought mine on release day and even with its shortcomings, this has been an excellent experience. This is my first entry into the vr ownership (though I’ve played it before). I’m one of the lucky ones I guess because I haven’t experienced any motion sickness at all. I’ve now played re village through its entirety at 3 to 4 hours sessions. No regrets but my major gripe is sometimes the tracking will cause the game to pause during play which take me out of emersion. Other than that great experience and look forward to more titles to come( especially horror)
That happens when the light level is low. There are two ways to solve this. Simply make the room brighter. Or, if you want to play in the even complete darkness, you can buy a IR blaster for around $20. The PSVR2 headset will see that and you won’t have to worry about the issue you’re having again. Hope that helps!
You can turn on tracking assistant in settings that will create a boarder around the tv to greatly improve tracking. Helped for me.
I’m first time VR user. Never any motion sickness in Resident Evil Village, Horizon, or Gran Turismo 7
I didn't have any motion sickness for years after getting the Vive. Only when I played very realistic flight simulators did it finally hit me. Strangely, I can still fly in other situations, like as a bird, or a kite, or superman... but not very very realistic flight sims.
I'm just saying, be careful - and have fun with your new headset!
@@jcudejko thanks Joseph!
I’ve put more hrs on my psv2 since it’s launch then I have my quest in a year and a half . I’m have ing a blast in re8 and gt7 . Games look great !
The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell
Valley (Arena 5). He is a quick
building-targeting,
melee troop with
moderately high hitpoints and damage. He
appears just like his Clash of Clans
counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a
beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing
in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider
card costs 4 Elixir to deploy.
Strategy
His fast move speed can boost forward mini
tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same
time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has
a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms
complement the Hog Rider well, as they are
nearly as fast as him and usually force more
than one card out of the opponent's hand.
The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they
can damage him down and defeat him
quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians
in particular can fully counter him without
very strict timing on the defender's part,
though be wary of spells.
A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if
placed right on top of it. However, if you place
something in front of the Hog Rider, Hunter's
splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the
card in front of it more.
The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze
can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog
Rider to deal much more damage than
anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to
counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only
effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats
will immediately be defeated by the spell,
while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will
be at low enough health to be defeated by a
follow-up Zap or Giant Snowball.
However, this strategy isn't very effective
against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a
while to destroy the building, giving the
opponent ample time to articulate another
counter.Against non-swarm troops can deal a lot of
damage during the freeze time, but this can
allow the opponent to set up a massive
counter push. For this reason, players should
either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when
they have other units backing it up from a
counterattack, or if the match is about to end
and they need to deal as much damage as
possible.
It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider
simply to destroy a building, especially if it is
the only building targeting unit available, as
defeating Crown Towers becomes
substantially more difficult. Spells or simply
waiting out the lifetime of the building are
more effective. The exception to this is an
Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's
Tower. If a Hog Rider is placed at the bridge,
he could destroy the Collector for a positive
Elixir trade, though the damage from both
Princess Towers will usually mean he does
not survive to deal any damage to them.
However, if the opponent sends in defending
troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell
damage value.
In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might
be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider
against one building. These decks shuffle
their card rotation quick enough, that they will
arrive at their next Hog Rider before the next
building arrives in the opponent's card
rotation.
Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying
Machine can snipe those buildings,
preserving some of the Hog Rider's health,
possibly allowing it to get some Tower
damage. The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast
non-building targeting troops due to his own
Very Fast speed and building only targeting if
he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge,
slightly into the opposite lane. He can also
stall grounded units when placed right at the
bridge. He will pull them towards him while
deploying, and then be untargetable by them
when he jumps over the bridge. After landing,
he will pull them back. This can be useful
when the player needs to deal damage in the
same lane they are defending. It will also help
separate troops behind a tank in a significant
push. A Tornado placed on the second tile in
front of the player's King's Tower and
staggered two tiles towards the Princess
Tower will activate it without any damage
dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in
defending future pushes. This can also be a
method of mitigating all damage dealt to a
princess Tower, but doing this more than
three times may result in the King's Tower's
health being low enough to be targeted
directly, opening up the possible threat of a
back door three crown. A better alternative is
to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower
into the attacking range of all three Crown
Towers, which will negate all damage as long
as none of them are already distracted A very
powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the
Musketeer, and the Valkyrie typically referred
to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend
against most troops, while the Valkyrie can
protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms
or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used
to deal damage to the tower. This can be
effectively countered by Lightning
one-shooting the Musketeer and severely
damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider.
The Minion Horde is also effective, but the
enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will
one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is
defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have
enough time to severely damage the tower.
The Hog Rider should be placed behind the
Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in
front of the Hog Rider, protecting it.
A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel
can be awkward for the opponent to defend
against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is
tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the
most effective way to deal damage. However,
a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with
minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir
trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed
directly on the Tower. Pairing the Hog Rider
with the Balloon can deal devastating
damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider
will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens
to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can
also destroy any buildings attempting to slow
down the combo. However, this combo is very
vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as
neither of the troops targets anything but
buildings. Additionally, they are easy to
separate, due to the disparity in move speeds.
Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon
can be played in different lanes to spread the
opponent's defenses thin. However, a buildin
or Tornado can bring them back together for
easier defense.
The Hog Rider can be paired with the
Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and
damage combo. It is a very fast combo with
an extremely high damage output potential,
so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a
swarm. If this happens, use spell-like Arrows
to render the opponent defenseless. If they
manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the
dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even
more dangerous than it normally is.
A fast and deadly combination is the Hog
Rider and Mini PE.K.K.A. combo. Both units
are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does muchmore damage and does not attack only
buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with
troops like the Executioner and Musketeer.
However, this combo can be defeated with
swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat
both of them since neither of them can deal
area damage. They are also unable to target
air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this
easily. A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider
at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If
the opponent does not react fast enough, the
Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of
damage to the Princess Tower. This can also
allow the player to quickly Scout the
opponent's deck if they happen to react to
him fast enough.
OMG WHY DID I JUST SIT HERE AND READ THIS WHOLE THING💀😭
@ANTI well at least you have learned more about the Hog Rider now👍🏻
I noticed you made the same mistake I made at first. The halo ring - and more precise speaking - the knob at the back of the halo - needs to be as far down as possible. This is not a sweat band. The front black part should be placed next/slightly over to the hair line. Once I found that out, all my issues where gone. Well beside the fact that the space above the ears is just barely enough to put over ear head phones.
Turning the brightness down from the default torch setting of 100 does help. Set it to 30 - 50 and visual issues are mostly mitigated.
Yes totally works
Awesome review!! I agree with everything!! Luckily I didn't get motion sick. But probably because I like to play sitting down ;) Good job kid!! Love your videos and reviews! Keep up the good work!
Yes! Been waiting for this!
It's a good day when GetHip uploads
These are good gripes. I love my psvr2 and it seems to be getting better and more fun with each use. But it’s not without its downsides. I really hope devs can see that reprojection is a real issue and can work hard on maybe making these games native 90 hz. Who knows. But man gt7 with a rig is pure 🔥
Bro I'm with you on gt7. I played it for 1 hour with a controller, got up walked over to my system shut it off then went on a goddamn mission to learn about sim setups. I ended up landing on the fanatic gt dd Pro 8nm with load cell upgrades for the pedals and a mid-level cockpit. Still a week and a half later I don't have all of it here but I did try the wheel and pedals bolted to my desk and oh my God I felt like a little kid again. I cannot wait till everything is here and set up correctly. I told my son the feedback on that wheel is stronger than the feedback of our car outside so I can basically teach you to drive on that thing with the virtual reality
That is amazing, I would do the same if I had a space for it. I do but I have a wife😅 My 2 boys would love it.
I'm a first time VR user and honestly I don't get much of this motion sickness. Most I get is the sweats but that's after about 2 to 3 hours of play
i have played for hours on psvr2 and absolutely no motion sickness thus far, and I'm not immune to it. The biggest issues that I and others have run into are the sense controller issues.
My launch PSVR2 had a left controller issue where the left trigger won't work in Call of the mountain, No man's sky, etc. RE:Village wouldn't get past the screen asking for the sense controllers and to press X. I called sony, they suggested a replacement, sent it in, got the replacement, same issues.
Like many, I found with the 2nd psvr2 unit, if i launch a game and while the left controller is on, use the reset button on it, it shuts off and i connect the usb cable to it, turn it back on, the controller works till i quit that game. It doesn't work in the next game, requiring me to do it again. I found in some games, i can keep the controllers off, launch the game with the dual sense, then turn them on and it works. The star wars demo still wont work.
Its buggy at launch, it will hopefully be improved with updates. The latest update did nothing for me,
with Horizon I'd defiantly recommend snap turning over smooth turning since (for me) that was the only time I had any issue with motion blurr at all even when moving my head around.
Snap turning sux! Might as well just transport around the screen like on the Oculus GO!
honestly i have had no issues at all with my psvr2, no blurriness, no motion sickness and have played a lot of the launch games. There is a small sweet spot to get the headset on correctly plus any other issues can be fixed by updates. i have played on the psvr1, quest 1 & 2 and the PSVR2 is the best headset i have owned.
I wanna know the process in your sound proof walls. I must know! Looks insanely fire!
Nice video! Good stuff! What sim setup are you rocking for GT7 or anyone in the comments?? I want to have my stick shift and clutch.
Dang, sorry to hear about your motion sickness. I’ve been playing upwards of 8 hours a day since launch and no issues. Sorry man.
I'm assuming that frame interpolation / reprojection is on full-time to get as high a picture quality as it does. And that's probably why there seems to be what looks like a weird filter over everything. Basically post processing to get rid of any ghosting or artifacts that come with frame interpolation.
Can you tell me if you tube vr is available After a very quick play with mine straight from the box. I tried a VR 360 on UA-cam, but it was like watching a TV show where I could just sort of look around that it wasn’t full vr/3d
The ghosting was horrendous, but just playing gt7, I noticed it's improved allot since update, not perfect, but more tollerable
I love the criticism of a console VR hmd, from someone with a high end PC like that in the background. I haven't played my psvr for over a year now. And I still got my VR legs enough to not get sick. Must be a personal use for you guy... Psvr2 has been amazing so far. Pavlov is great, but that GT7, GREATEST VR game in console history. F'ing amazing
Got one on day one, absolutely love it. horizon and GT7 are just something else, I just need Bonelabs and Half Life Alyx and life is complete, not noticed the mura effect yet
The mura effect is only noticeable when I play Resident Evil Village but it isn’t enough to take me out of the immersion long.
Mura only is recognizable when your looking for it…plus it’s been over talked about because it’s only a “issue” in like 2 games
Considering PSVR2 is actually a confident headset I can see a boneworks and bonelab port to PS now.
Half life Alyx might never happen unfortunately due to the fact the game hasn't been updated or worked on for years.
Weird question but, where’d you get your pc from or materials from?
Im new to vr, just played on the psvr2 for 3 consecutive days and I have no motion sickness at all, I think its not that bad with this headset
Just got even thought it’s my first vr experience I love it
As soon as I read the title my first thought was a resounding YES!!
It’s one of my dreams to play with you
Hahaha bro! Great video, and I appreciate the insight! I'm a huge car guy and have a '16 Ford Focus ST that makes all the whooshes. This video made me want to get the PSVR2 and a racing sim set up for sure!!!
I play my psvr2 song in the smoke for 6 hours straight and then go have a beer with my friends 😉 absolutely love this piece of hardware 🤘☺️❤️
does the charger come with the psvr2?
Finally a psvr2 review! I’ve wanted one for a bit since im not sure if i want to buy it
5:56-6:03
Funniest thing I've ever heard in a VR video XD
Only real thing that puts me off one of these is that cable to console tether. As someone with a quest 2, the wireless freedom is quite something. How do people find the psvr2 coming to it from a quest headset in regards to the cable?
A thought on the melting ports. The more than a decade old move controller's light turns off when it is fully charged, so what's stopping that or something more advanced from using the already present communication between the device and charging unit?
The device could be put into a standby mode with low battery drain but enough to allow it to communicate with either the PS5 or charging dock.
I just wonder if that might work or I am completely wrong in my guesstimation.
When the sence controllers are fully charged the controller light turns off and it takes 1hour and 30min to fully charge the controllers
Im so glad im not the only one having a headache type issue with the psvr2
Yo, hip, you said you've been playing for about 4 years I think, so how old was you when you got your first headset, and what was it? I'm 14, I got my meta quest 2 when I was 13 last Christmas.
That's weird. I did not notice represection at all! I am someone that could barely play bone labs on quest 2 without getting a headache and I have felt nothing with my time with the headset
The reprojection doesn't make me motion sick but it's super annoying having a double/blurry vision so with the future games I'm gonna be checking if they use reprojection or not before making a purchase.
Bought the psVR2 to boost my ps5 and racing rig and I just say there is no comparison between staring at a screen or being in the actual race 😮
Are you sure you did not get a broken psvr2? My psvr2 from day one does not have any of the problems your talking about. I have not had any projections or ghosting at all or and i dont think i have a mura problem cause i dot see any light or dark spots in the screen efect . Only blury i get is from ui text that are at a distance. So I'm confused when I hear people talking about these problems 🧐 I have not motion sickness at all also as for brightness the first thing you should alway do with a new vr headset you should always lower brightness. I do agree about headstrP being uncomfortable but it's easy to fix with a beanie
I like how honest he is about reviewing these items
Good video btw
here's a suggestion for a video: review my first ever VR headset, the Windows mixed reality lenovo explorer, i can send a picture of what model because there is som many god damn models i can't even count them
I got my psvr2 on Thursday of last week. i had a weekend trip to go on so I wasn't able to play to much when I got it, but I just finished call of the mountain last night. I had no motion sickness problems. In fact, the psvr2 is one of the most comfortable vr experiences I've had. I've played in the original rift along with the rift s, quest and quest 2.
Lol that firmware update clip was hilarious
Yeah... I was considering this even though I'm ultimate casual gamer, and old, but like the Quest 2 and VR... BUT... there is that really small set, molded to your face, that comes with prescription lenses. I'd spend on that way before getting a PS5 with the PSVR.
It's all about the games. GT 7, RE 8, & COTM already make the purchase worth it.
Honey wake up, new GetHip vid!!!
I love the fact your honest about the resident evil village lol a lot youtubers don't cover it live because there afraid to show how scared they get lol ...... Another awesome video .....
10:02 , I don't own it.. but I don't blame that.. it's a charging station.. they are meant to be placed in there and not removed when fully charged. That simply should not happen & you can charge your phone forever without it burning down (I mean.. I think so, I've never charged it for that long xD).. but still.. like, wtf is that xD
It should simply stop charging when it's full and not charge again till they are at 80% or something.. as it's clearly not just a charging thing, it's also a placeholder
4:53 was not expecting to see my message I sent in Brad's Discord on this video LOL. But yeah for me it made me incredibly motion sick trying it out at a friends house and only when I substantially lowered the brightness did I no longer feel like absolutely puking all over the place.
I'm surprised I didn't get motion sickness. This is my first headset.
bro has grown up like 10 years since i last saw him
Ay Man, awesome review and channel. I just got my 2nd PSVR2 and Horizon and Star wars still looks like its slightly blurry despite of hours of trying to find the "sweet" spot. I really have no idea if i am doing something wrong of if this is what it is.
How blurry is it because it’s literally never gonna be perfect , have you ever tried vr before the psvr2 or is this your first time
Playthrough Resident Evil Village. Play it with your brother in room. It will be great content. Gun controls in VR are superb and the entire experience takes full advantage of PSVR2. Also, I recommend you get Pavlov and Kyak VR for PSVR2.
i have a quest 2 and play resident evil 4 vr all the time
off topic but ik for a fact in reVillage that baby chase scene is gonna be the scariest thing seen
Amazing videos dude keep up the good work and thanks for the feed back about the PSVR 2❤
So is it worth it hip and is it worth everyone who's got one coz now I want one
Guys let me know when the Beat Saber - VR come to psvr 2 hope that its possible in the future maybe?
Does anyone knows how to trick the psvr2 in pavlov so we can play sitted on sofa and still be able to run in game?
Weird. I never had any issues with blurriness. Except for like when I first put it on or load a game. There’s like the bottom words or something then it clears right up. But it’s not affecting the gameplay at all. Everything stays clear. Weird. I feel like mine is perfect. I’m a first time user. Idk if that matters.
Bro I can't play horizon it made me feel sick in 10 mins and now everytime I play it I feel sick in 2mins and Resident Evil Village makes me sick as well after 15 mins of running around but all of my other psvr2 games I can play for hours and I've even playing VR since the Oculus Rift and I also have 59 Playstation VR games and they all play fine and I'm sure you can take off the 120hz on the Playstation settings
😂 I’m in it for the horror games… that is the only reason I want the VR2 is for the horror games and combat hand to hand combat game. I don’t really care to much for shooting games but would like to give the driving games a go it looked very fun
Should i get a psvr 2 or quest 3? I can't decide
Get a Quest3. PSVR2 honestly looks DOA. Company that made Fire Wall ultra (First party Studio) just got shut down. They blamed a lack of interest in VR. Kinda reminds me of what Sony said about the Vita. Though the truth is that game simply sucked. Sony hasn't really announced any first party games for 2024.
Quest3 is slightly cheaper has way more games and functionality. You can play games, watch movies, surf web. Do a sorta Apple Vision Pro with it. And Meta is actually supporting it. The headset comes with the best VR game in years, Asgard's Wrath 2. A lot of the quest games are really good. You also have the PCVR functionality which is really good. Yes it can also do wireless PCVR as well. Theres even steam link app. Games such as Half Life Alyx, Lone Echo, Vertigo 2, ContractorsVR, Pavlov, Onward, VR chat, Stormland, Asgard's Wrath 1, etc.
@@chan13153 thanks
Has someone who doesn’t own a PC but does plan to buy a PS5 in the future…..yes, i am absolutely buying the PSVR 2
Review into the radius
plot twist will be that resident evil village doesn't have the rear projection issues
It's weird I thought that with the higher resolution and frame rates would help to avoid motion sickness. I got it on PSVR 1 when I had to make fast movements
Some of the bigger games don't run at the full frame-rate. Rotating your head is still smooth because of ASW but you can see the interpolation/reprojection with other movement.
Yoooo I made it in a GetHip video!
I just purchased the PS VR2 and it’s AMAZING!!! I was confused by all the reviews that all the experts talked about specs, price, and blah, blah, blah…. If you want to buy it, get it, it’s worth it. If you have the money, buy it and enjoy it; immerse yourself in the game. I just have the feeling that a lot of these so called experts are just pushing out vídeos to get clicks by creating doubt in regular consumers like myself. I purchased three games, a kayak game, horizon, and a space game; all of them are immersive and fun. My point is that any of the mentioned games had great reviews or awful reviews, in other words you’ll never make everyone happy. Have fun everyone and please let me know of any vr2 games that you highly recommend.
Resident Evil Village, Gran Turismo 7, No Man's Sky.
Your videos are so good. Well I think it’s finally time I order the psvr2. I still need a racing sim chair too.
just for a basic sim rig (wheel,pedals,chair) = 530$, psvr2 550, 1,000 almost.
atleast with 550$ you buy alot of games over time justifying the price, but the 530+ depending on how good you want it, just to play it for GT7 and maybe 2 more games down the line in 5 years...idk? is it worth it? but if it is enjoy.
My friend was watching this video with me, and he saw what you wrote at the end of your video. His mom died last week. 😩😩😩
I just got a VR headset today LOL
Have you turned down the brightness to 50% like several reviewers advise?
You guys turn the brightness down ?
From someone that owns Quest 1&2, psvr. Previously I had an index and my first was my htc. I sold my index when my PC basically blew up turning it into a paperweight. Eventually when I buy or build another gaming PC I probably will get another PC VR headset but basically only for the reason of being able to still have access to the steam catalog. All that being said like you had mentioned psvr2 has been simultaneously one of the best and worst headsets I've ever owned. For me it's been different reasons. I've had nothing but problems with the controllers and Sony cannot help me. That is a huge issue. My next gripe is I feel with the fresnel lenses The Sweet Spot on that headset is too small. Gripe number three, I wish it was Wireless or I hope they come up with an adapter in the future to make it Wireless. In one of my final issues is I feel all the psvr titles should be switched over to psvr 2. If the developers decide they want to remake the whole damn game to make it better that I have no problem paying for it, but I want access to some of those titles.
I pray that as soon as the PS5 Pro is released that in a few weeks most games that use reprojection will stop using it and run at 90fps or 120fps, in addition to those that already run at 90fps running at 120fps.
Bradley was not the only one it seems
Ngl I love my quest 2 or quest 2’s,but I’m thinking of just selling them for one of these
Agreed!!! Makes me sicker then any other VR Headset
"RP " takenote 🏎️
Idk how but I don't have that problem.
Only in No man's sky when I am in the ship it made me motion sick
If there was more racing games with it. I would buy..
I bought a psvr2 and it was my first experience with VR, it was a little disappointing to know that the image is not like we see the videos captured on youtube, you are very close to a screen even with a zooming lens, so you see the pixels, yeah similar to getting close to an old CRT monitor, but the immersion is gloriously good, normal games even lose some of the fun! haha
You see the pixels? What do you mean exactly? Is it like if you're in a dark area you can see some dark spots? Or do you see the image as if you're looking true a canvas bag?
If it's the 1st turn the brightness down, if it's the later depending on how bad it is you might want to consider hitting up Sony for a replacement unit.
It could also be that you'tmre wearing the headset wrongly and haven't found the "sweet spot" yet🤷🏽♂️
I think I expressed myself poorly with "seeing the pixels", is it really like looking at a flat panel too closely, does the quality no longer look the same when it's done right, or do you see equal quality from a flat panel? this has been my biggest concern and doubt why it is my first VR, on your first question would be the "mura" right? it exists in dark scenes, my brightness is already below the maximum there is no way to mask it in these cases, in bright scenes I practically don't see it, I'm researching a lot to know if I have a defective unit, about the ideal point I've found better in the last sessions , the visuals have even improved, it seems that my eyes are getting used to it, but I think it's far from the quality of a flat screen and that's normal, right? I really wanted to understand this because it's taking some of my fun away, time is passing and I won't be able to return it if it's a defect
Yea that's kinda a disclaimer pretty much people never say about vr, but in time you do forget about the image because of the immersion
yes true! in pavlov for example the image looks better, and really you don't remember much more about graphics
@@thiagofavaro4193 The picture should be clear and not blurry in game. As for the quality vs 4k flat screen it will take a hit offcourse that's normal, not by a huge amount and the emersion and 3d effect make up for that tremendously like you said.👍🏼
PS5 is equivalent to a 5600XT. Eye-tracked foveated rendering will help a lot but can only do so much. So a lot of the big games are 60fps.
If you want a good experience go play vacation simulator. You're able to use all the haptics of the headset the controls and you literally feel everything. I was brushing my teeth and I can feel the controller vibrating and the headset vibrate which led to me doing a lot of testing of hitting myself in the head with random items. Lol it's visually one of the better looking game's
For a cartoony style, I agree
@@rayanessaidi1674 yeah still an immersive experience
my first time playing vr i did not have motion sickness tho
If you already got a PS5 this headset is worth it
good job
Not gonna lie I have been into be for a while now and the psvr2 hasn’t made me motion sick at all
GTA with pedal and vr2 was a new gaming experience
The cord is my biggest complaint. Besides that, I’m absolutely in love with the PSVR2
yeah. but then again, remember the cords that came with psvr1? nightmare...
@@attaboydanny for sure do!
Is it fixed now
wow keep the work up i dont have aa vr rn but i am gonna get one after 2 or 3 months for a quest 2 and i thought should i buy the playstation vr 2? and seeing this video made me think the quest 2 its a better vr for me so thank you for making me pick my decision
PSVR2 needs to have computer capabilities (like Link), and until it does I’m sticking with my Quest 2.
Even if it would, it won't be as good of an experience.. I have the PSVR1 and it still has issues with the 3rd party drivers on PC, stuff like drift etc. There is things you can do to alleviate the drift, but there will always be tiny bit of drift no matter what you do.
Nice
