Thank you
Hi
On this Touran, was one last problem to be dealt with...
The parking sensors where not working, reporting a fault, and the Parking Assist, which relies on yhe parking sensors system, was also innovative...
The entire failure, was actually due to two separate problems, which actually one of them, might have caused the second one...
Anyway...
Follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it.

Nice job again Luis. This Park Assist thing is just way too cool, seems like something engineered to address existing needs of actual customers.
☺️
👍👍👍
I think the blown fuse is originally a polyfuse = self resetting fuse. fine to replace with an ordinary fuse though if it blows again will have to open the module again to replace! A polyfuse is supposed to work like a normal fuse in overcurrent condition but after cooling down it should go back to allowing current flow again. I have replaced several of these in audio equipment, I have seen them burned like this or sometimes have seen them become oversensitive and trip before the rated current. Anyway nice repair, first time I've seen this on a parking assist module
Hi
Possibly it was a polyfuse...
Thank you for watching and for your comment!
👍👍👍
Always learn something from you clips 😂😀

Thanks!

Hi Luis, 15:00- it isn't zero ohm. It is Open Loop (open circuit) :)
🙄
My bad... Well spotted!
👍👍👍
Normaly just needs resolder on original wires and its repaired.
Well done 👏

Good morning Luis seen as it was the rear speaker blown like you i think when the rear sensor hit it blew fuse (never seen one blow that good or bad) you must be part russan as ivan at pine hollow auto diagnostics love his no parts required fixes (no offence ment)
None taken...☺️
A fix with no parts required leaves a different flavour!...🤪
👍👍👍
excellent repair and admirable feature however in other hand if u use it u will lose the routine .... :) I have an odd observation on my Renault 2017 Automatic AC temperature management. I was monitoring the internal temperature over 6+hours long HW journey and I recognized that even I set the cabin temp to a fix 21C it never reached that by the internal monitoring sensors. (outside temp was all day long below 15C) It was readable always 24-25C and never went down to the set 21C but it i was not a constant value rather it was changing a bit. I monitored the set temperature what was also never set to 21 rather a bit greater one 22-23C but I think it is dynamically adjusted by the controller based on some algorithm. Do you know where the internal temp sensor is located in Renault? I did not find any forum or service info on the internet about it. Did you also observe such a difference between set temperature on AC display vs internal sensor reading? The problem is why I monitored it that on a longer journey family is complaining about the cold in the vehicle even the temp set to higher value. So they do not feel that monitored 24-25C or so rather colder one :) I had a thought that the Automatic AC is reducing the fan RPM way too low and the internal circulation will be insufficient to maintain the cabin temp at set value however fan PWM is always constant 21% and not reduced over the long journey...
Some have the internal temp sensors on the panel itself...
But I am not sure on that particular model...
Long time no see an open module.
☺️
There is plenty of videos coming with opened modules...

Hello good job!Where do you get wiring diagram?Do you have subscription for month or year?Thank's for sharing!
Yes... HGS...
Also have loads of other OEM offline diagrams... but those only go up to certain years...
👍👍👍
TOP
☺️
Thanks!
👍👍👍
Where you got your multimeter tiny pin leads?
Don't remember now...
But was either eBay or Amazon...
👍👍👍
Have you considered asking Autel UK to supply you with an im608pro 2 and an Autel Ultra as a sponsorship, you must be a huge benefit to their sales already
Did that few years ago asking for their scope, the one that connects to the Maxisys...
From about 20 emails sent to different autel departments, and different representatives, got zero replies back...
They don't need someone like me I guess...
But would have been nice!...
👍👍👍👍
I sincerely doubt that a car repair shop could afford to hire you. With your skills in fixing cars' electronics, you can easily make 6 figures a year.
☺️
I wish...
👍👍👍
Olá luis o espirito lusitano é mesmo fantástico, outros, põe novo e siga .
☺️
Obrigado!
👍👍👍
Looks like the best scan tool for you is Autel Maxysis
It is a great tool...
👍👍👍
Hmm new microscope🎉😁👍👍
Perhaps featuring the channel...
But I actually have it for a long time...
👍👍👍
I have Vw touran
Parking sensor and assist
But doesn’t work only make beep sound for few sec then p button flashing .
I have try to change the module before still same .
Sometime it does work but now have stop .
Is it possible to get the diagram
Hi
Before starting to replace parts or whatever, have you scanned the car?
👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs yes I did before but I forgot what code I had ,
@@LMAutoRepairs I got it code was B107A14
B107A14
What would you suggest
Hi champ! I have a 2016 308 that is giving me trouble and doesn't turn on or ignite. I would like to share extensively on this issue with you. Would you mind to let me know how I can reach you via email?
Hi
Do you have ignition?
Have you scanned the car?
👍👍👍
@LMAutoRepairs ye I have scanned it. I could share those screenshots with you for. The scan kit indicated the car does recognize the key, the push to start ignition swith does send a relay to the BSI. However there's a lapse to transit rely from the BSI to the engine, as well as steering lock recognising the presence of the key.
Before this, the ignition wiuld start normally, then it evolved to having to press the switch severally for the car to turn on and start the engine, now it doesn't turn on at all.
I have also hard the alternator tested, it's perfect, the fuses were also tested, they are okay.
If it is not recognising the key, could be a problem with the key...
Is that a handsfree key?
Yes it is a handsfree key, whenever we try to take the key away from the car and start the ignition the car would immediately recognise the absence of the key and indicate "key not detected' on the dash.
On the scan we did, live data showed the following live responses, upon engaging the Start/stop ignition switch:
-Status of signal coming from the engine starting switch (Pressed/released): Present
-Starting request to engine management ECU was: Absent
-Ignition positive relay was switched off;
-Main relay status: Switched off
-Acquisition of the main relay control; Yes (Present)
-Power relay control: Inactive
-Acquisition of the power relay control: Absent
-Remote controlled wake-up status: Absent
-Starter control: No
-Starting request from the Built-in systems interface: No

- Status of the ignition positive relay (ignition positive): Switched off

- Negative response from the electric steering lock to the locking/unlocking command: No
-BSI with no engine immobiliser code (coded engine immobiliser)
-BSI in anti-scanning mode: No
-Engine control unit locked: Yes
-No response from the hands-free unit to the authentication request: No
-No encrypted request to the electric steering lock: No
- No encrypted response from the electric steering lock: No

What codes do you have stored?
Have you checked fuses, relays, connections etc...?
hell no id never like that on my car lol
☺️
👍👍👍
Can you tell us a little more about your microscope? Thank you.
Smilar to this one...
