Yoooo Meg man, I have been watching you since you were filming in your old bedroom with all your posters and when you sat in your hanging chair way back when. I just re watched this apartment tour of yours from 2016 and it is CRAZYYYY to see how much you have grown and flourished into yourself. It is cool to watch this and hear you talk about your makeup collection and how much you loved it and just see how you used to talk versus now. I loved you since your first videos and I have legit loved every...I don't want to say stage but like every life transformation you have gone through. Now you are out here a full ass hippy queen who is all for zero waste and low impact living, you have pigs, live on land, wear no makeup, have rad style (not that you didn't have that before but I just love all your flowy skirts and amazing dresses you wear these days), just all of the things! You have always been super awesome in my eyes and you just get so much better every day! I feel like I am your friend just from watching your videos for so long lol. Idk why I am being weird and ranting about this, I am pretty stoned tbh but just wanted to let you know you are awesome and I appreciate your content and love seeing you fall into your true self. I have the same interests as you in terms of zero waste and saving the environment and our mindsets seem similar in a lot of ways so yeah I just love your videos and you're an awesome human! Girl your apartment is unreal!!! Louis and I are thinking of getting a place in LA next year and I'm 100% going back and rewatching this video when we do to get some inspiration :)
Here's a tip from a fellow (if less all over the map) nomad! Keep an eye out for nice colorful things in your next year of travels! You can always buy those colorful rugs and those nice colorful fabrics in american stores like Urban Outfitters or Anthropology or whatever, but I feel cool and unique accent pieces for a cool boho look are that much more special when they have a story! Get some native art, buy from artisans in the countries you visit, thrift stuff, swap with people you meet on your journeys, that way when you're home, you'll still feel like you're traveling the world, or at least it will remind you of all the good memories! ;) Cheers from Montreal!

You have a really cute apartment , I love the way it's been arranged. Seems like you have more space than you actually do. I love all the STUFF, I'm a stuff person too. Also, I want to say great job on the organization of your home. Everything in it's place and clever ways to cover up the ugly ( heaters, fuse boxes ). I'm 58 and it reminds me of late sixties and the 70's. I use to wear caftans, shirts etc with the wild beautiful Indian fabric, did lots of macramé, All those wonderful things & style that you are keeping alive. It's great! Thank you for letting us into your home. Thanks for the video and you now have a new subscriber.

I've been moving rooms with my roommate this summer, and I never really got around to like.. properly redecorate my new spaces (room and office)! This is pumping me... I think I might do that next week!! YAY! And by the way, that thing Alex gave you? Not a munchkin, DEFINITELY a troll! These things had a moment in the '90s, I had a collection of them as a kid, and I'm totally CRUSHED that my mom didn't keep it...! They were actual troll dolls, with hair and stuff, not quite the decorative item like yours... and mine didn't have a awesome tie dye shirt! ;D

Its 2022. I just bought my first home. It has a loft style. I have been watching lots of videos for home decor and your video is by far my favourite. I love the idea of using the walls and shelving for the plants. Thank you for the ideas..... 6 years on :)

That "weird munchkin thing" is called a Troll. That a bigger version of a small doll like toy we all had in the late 60's. The came with different colored hair and various outfits. Your apt is like a blast from my past. Love it!
