The Highline has 85kw, 6 speed manual and disc rear brakes whilst the Comfortline has 70kw, 5 speed manual and drum rear brakes. Also both cars can be had/fitted with an r-line kit with extra cash. That's the difference between these cars
What a great video gents. Personally I would buy the R-Line . I feel that it'll be a collector's item in a few years time especially in manual! But on another note; please include links to your social media profiles on your description so it's only a click away for us the fans 🙏😇
Fantastic video thank you. Extremely helpful info on the Vivo Polo. May I kindly ask, which is the best color to go for in your opinion in terms of style & value?
Thanks ! In my opinion I would prefer red because it's a less common color and also stands out. In terms of value ( if i understand correctly) I would go for Comfortline with a sunroof, I feel like the R line is overpriced as well as the Highline.
The highline has 85KW and 200NM. That's the only difference between the highline and the comfortline, the engine output. Ohh and also the transmission if it's manual the highline has a 6 speed gearbox.
The biggest differences are the options you can choose beyond the standard version. Next to that, I really don't like this model with all those lines.. I myself have a 2016 Polo 6C with many options and a pretty powerful engine (110hp/81kw), and the turbo does wonders, except the turbo lag, of course.. and the steering wheel of the GTI in this video is the same I have, with white stitching. But, the main point is that I like the MK5 (6R/C) just better than this model, although I wonder if this GTI dashboard can be swapped into my 6C, lol.. because, why not? But, okay video, you missed some detail here and there.. but nothing major. And to bad those prices aren't in euro to compare, but I can do that myself. Favourite colour: Silver (which there was a lack of) Favourite Model: GTI. But what I probably would buy: Highline with some extra options, perfect sweet spot. And exactly what I have now. And I think the 6C and 6R are probably the last best-looking polo's, my opinion of course.
Thanks for sharing some interesting points that I missed ! Yeah the Polo 6c/6r is a really good car and super reliable, and I gotta say they keep their value quite well. I've seen the 1.8 GTi from 2016 still going over R300k ( low mileage one ), but overall a great car and good looking as well especially when it's nicely specked.
I really don't understand why VW is so stingy and always cutting all corners with their cars when they are making so much money from them. They are probably the only car manufacturer in 2022 that still have the nerve to put manual windows.
and? People are obsessed with VW, so if they can make more money that way, I cant see the Problem. If you want to change it the only way is to stop buying their cars and wait until they make them more luxurious.
Please do a little research before making another VW video. There are a lot of misrepresentations in your video. At 15:30, Highline does not have 70kw, not even Trendline or Comfortline has 70kw but is 85kw for Highline and 77kw for Comfort and Trendline
@@carguy7797 And this is the reason why the R-line in this video is more powerful than the Comfortline and the Trendline. It is not because it is an R-line but because it is a Highline, R-line is just a body kit. So both the Comfortline and Highline can come in R-line body kit, but they will not have the same power. The Highline will always have more power than the Comfortline.
An A-Class doesn't have the option for a manual transmission though... Opening up my little R-Line, starting at ~4,500RPM goes from being a normal nice-looking commuter car to sounding absolutely incredible (like a really nice 6 cylinder believe it or not, and just keeps getting better the closer you get to redline) and is really, really, really damn fun. I love this car. Once it's at safe oil temps (~80°c+), it just wants you to open the engine up and thrash the gears, going 100kmh in second before slapping it into third for 160kmh... It's a different feeling. Not only that, but this little three clinder isn't crying, shaking and wanting to fall apart at those RPMs, it's almost like its designed to take the beating for the Autobahn... She just purrs at those RPMs like it's how she wants to drive... An A-Class wouldn't do that, and wouldn't be able to constantly, safely take that beating. This little car is genuinely crazy. Don't overlook it. The A-Class interior is better, don't get me wrong; but the higher Polo options are still very premium and are genuinely enthusiast cars. Not quick, but slow car fast feeling with the boost/high RPM's, and really nice sounding.
that GTI is ugly. who put that kak thing on the bonnet. and it has the stock alloys. mine has the 18s and have the leather seats. The Polo GTi has a 6 speed DSG.. not 7. it's a wet clutch unlike the dry clutch 7 speed on the Tsi's.

Thanks man ! I'll do that 👍
Definitely love how u open the boot with the badge 🔥
The gti is the best whose with me🔥🔥
Comparing different year models. The Comfortline is before 2021 but the trendline is 2021 model. The Highline is also before 2021
To be honest I much perfer the R line to the gti!
I'm going for highline.
Do you work at the VW dealership or do you ask to make a video...keep making more dude...💯🔥💯👑
Hey buddy, nah i ask for permission, I'm gonna push to get more content up for you guys, I've been slacking a bit
@@carguy7797 okay thanks for that reply 🔥👑

True, I also spotted the mistake he made by saying that the Highline has 70 KW output. The highline has a 85 KW output power.

Great review
Thanks man 👍
can i possibly any older polo with digital display clusters?
You can install your self
Silver white 🔥
Nice neh , white is a bit common
Awee oom
Lekker video ❤🔥
320K for an R-Line will never make sense to me...for a spoiler and mags🤣😂
100% my guy.. Volkswagen is unnecessary 😅
Comes with front/rear lip, fake exhaust tips (i hate fakes but they do look better), and sideskirts + mags. Its a nice aesthetic upgrade.
Thank you Sir
You welcome 👍
I tought you were dutch lol until i noticed you are from south africa
😂

no specs on the highline..?
The Highline got most of the bells and whistles, except the sportyness from the GTI , all of these cars are basically the same
I thought the High line has 85KW?
It does. All Newer shape polo Highline comes with a 85 KW engine
Might as well buy an a-class 🤷♂️
Yeah Vw is becoming ridiculous with their prices

Im planning on buying a polo when December ends... And Im not sure which one.
Looking for a TSI comfort line 250k in Western Cape- if anyone finds a good condition please HMU
I'm going to make a video soon on Vw Polo's

Actually about the DSG it depends on the country
