then R10 000pm and even less then R15 000pm. I found a few proper
cars at Webuycars at their Brackenfell branch in Cape Town.

Whoever is watching the video. If you earn 10k or less dnt buy a car. Your car ownership will easily go past 5k per month when you add petrol and insurance into the budget 😅
I know a lot of people that bought cars there, you just have to make sure you test it and thoroughly check it before buying, also dont buy a car you cant afford simply because its cheap, its maintenance and part will still be standard

It all depends on an individual and also their monthly budget ..some people prefere their own transport than being in public transport .
Really all depends on the individual. Some people are interns earning 15k, staying at home, mostly still under the financial support of their parents so they can afford owning such cars

Be careful of we buy cars. We bought a Chevy Utility, after 3 weeks of ownership, engine mount broke while driving, we took it back, they told us they fixed it, same thing happened a few weeks later. Also at one point, the brake pedal started feeling a bit too soft, we took it to them, they "fixed it", after a short time, it started doing the same thing again. When we got our own mechanic he said one of the mount bolts were missing, and the brakes were not installed properly. This is a car that they say passed the Dekra test.
Ola masekent,in terms of the brake pedal being soft,it's one of the weakness of Utility,I have been owning that car for four years now,I constantly experience soft brake pedal but just have to adjust your brake shoes at rear tyres

yoh you shouldn't buy a car, especially at Webuycars based on appearance. Always bring a mechanic no matter what that dekra says
Great content brother, I like the video.. But for R15000 I'd advise someone to look for an older model with no/minor mechanical problems but rather cosmetic issues.
A R85K car with scratched panels and wear and tear will be a sound financial decision. Careful buying cars you know you'll drive around with broken tail lights and bumpers hanging for months if you ever bump it. Stay within your limits
Great content, my guy. Also, buyers need to take insurance, fuel costs and regular maintenance into account. The maintenance always tends to catch many off guard - the more bells and whistles... the more can go wrong. Some car models, like the VW Polo has quite a high insurance premium due to the fact that it's a high risk vehicle in SA. High risk due to the rate at which they get hijacked - it blends in quickly due to all of the VW Polos on the road, so it's quite enticing for criminals. It's also quick for financial institutions to offer you finance on a car which you can't really afford, so be very carfeul when doing your vehicle budgeting. Consider going from point A to point B, while also taking fuel and maintenance into account. You don't want to be stressing about a car while earning less than R15k/pm 🙂

Turning the mileage back is a real thing. Add 10k - 20k kilometers on the mileage.
Also these guys buy the cars up to 50k below market price and resell it to you for up to 100k more than what they paid for it.

Advice with webuycars.....u can pic up bargains cheaper then private buys....but here's the secret..treat them like a private sale meaning bring your own mechanic and don't listen to a word their salesmen tells u ...check fir yourself

Thanks for the sub ! You can always negotiate a dealer to drop their price with or without deposit. If you look at a car with a R220 000 price tag, your estimated monthly with be +-R4 000, so with R140k deposit you’ll more then likely pay under R2 000pm bro , maybe like R1 600 or something

Do you mean paying a deposit of R140 000? If so, yes you would pay significantly less as you would only be borrowing R60k as opposed to R220k.

Just randomly discovered this channel. I'll call BS on the mileage for that Golf 7...How on earth can a 2014 model, assuming it was driving every day, have a mileage of 110 000km...when on average a car does 30 000km a year? I'm pretty sure that this car does not have a service history.

Are these cars auctioned or do they have an inhouse finance , how do they come to an estimated amount
The cars on the top floor are on auction, if they don't sell, then the cars goes to the floor below in order to be sold., I don't know exactly how they estimate the monthly payment
I want to understand what that monthly cost/payments actually is. Is it 1. Monthly Installment, 2. Cost of ownership (fuel, taxes, insurance, etc) 3. Both? It's a bit unclear there what that cost per month is.
Great question, the monthly payment you see on the sticker is the finance amount to be paid to the bank every month based on the cost price of the car. So at the end of the day that installment will include VAT, insurance and all those extra things. Hope this helps
Ooh I see. My next question is do those cars qualify for Bank Finance? I know some banks do not finance cars with a certain mileage or if the car was first registered 8 years ago or longer. @@carguy7797

Bad choices here, you will buy problems only here . Never buy a second hand car for looks. Especially at this high millage. Go to a proper dealership not those dodgy ones.other wise you will cry real tears trying to be cheap on everything.
Those dekra reports are not always authentic even real delaerships buy accident cars and fix them to be sold as normal second hands. We buy cars will never buy back a car you bought from them ,think about it.
This is not true. I bought a bmw 320i from We Buy Cars and sold it back after driving 50k KMs.

The price of the bolt was R79.99 but to replace it costed me R1 489.90.
