You referred to the headlights as xenon led in one case and just as xenon in another. The base and life models come standard with led headlights with the IQ Matrix LED's as an option on the Life
That's exactly the message I was trying to convey, I just didn't package it properly. I'll pin your comment so that those who are confused can get some clarity.
The bottom line for me is that there are far too many options on today's vehicles. It is confusing for the potential buyer and in the end is a money making enterprise by the auto makers. I do not believe that most motorists are demanding all of these options. There is dishonesty involved as well. On several occasions I have asked if a basic car is available, only to be told that I would have to order one and that it will take several months for the order to be filled. This is not acceptable. Dealers are just going ahead and ordering vehicles that have either a full or a partial bunch of expensive options. Maybe these options don't add so much to the buyer's monthly payments but for those of us who can pay cash, the difference in the purchasing price is considerable. Keep up the honest reporting Muzi.
In the U.K. we have it simpler. The base is the Life spec which seems to be similar to your life although it gets the basic digital cockpit as standard and no parking sensors. You can also spec a DSG. Then style which has matrix IQ and the upgraded dash with sat nav but no option for DSG. Finally we get R line which seems like a slightly premium Style (no matrix as standard, but you do get an optional DSG). It’s a strange line up as I wanted the Style with DSG but ended up having to order a Life instead and spec DSG, driver convenience pack and a few others to get it where I wanted.
Great Review. As a Life owner coming from the 2017 GP Comfortline, I wouldn't say there's much of a difference between the 2017 model comfort and the entry Polo TSI 2022. But if you're looking to upscale, the Life is definitely the way to go.
As an owner of a polo vivo, I think the base model polo is a great offering. None of the missing features are a deal breaker to me cos performance wise they are just the same.
😊Mr Qaba, you sound like you already convinced yourself to get a T-cross because you will drive off-road "once in a while" and you now just want our approval😁😁and no matter what we say you'll still go for the T-cross anyway.😁 You can't make a decision on which car to buy based on the info in your question. You need to consider your lifestyle holistically. Do you have kids, do you really need an SUV, what kind of off-roading are you gonna be doing cos a T-cross is not really an off-road car. Top signs you are about to make a bad decision 👇 1. You compare cars of the same brand 2. Compare cars in different segments (SUV vs Hatchback)

@@rudyardharrison4177 check the VW configurator and you will see the Polo has way too little options and I love that.
I've been searching the whole of UA-cam for this video and I finally found it. 🙂
I hope the video was helpful

Great review as always
But if money was not an issue I would go for Polo Life

Missed the active info display on the life Vs the digital cockpit of the base model...it's the added extra that really makes the price difference
You are right, Thank you for pointing that out👊🏽
No the base model also comes with the active info display as standard now. Just bought one and didn't need to pay extra.
@@thabomahlangu8236 On the base model you get a smaller display as standard...The 12" active info display is optional.

Do you by any chance know if one can get the leather seat package and 'Beats' sound system on the Polo life ?
In as far as I know those options are only available on the GTI.
A detailed review of the kia picanto x line please
I can deliver the picanto in the second week of February.
Great reviews as always.
Can you please try to do a review on Kia Rio tec facelift. 🙏
I'll check it out👍🏽
R311k for a base with many missing options? Ay ngeke

Can you do a review of the r line vs the life model please
That review is coming soon...I'm just waiting for the R-line to arrive this side.
Muzi VW has just announced the pricing for the new polo DSG models..... the polo life 85kw dsg R370700 and the polo R Line 85kw DSG R421900
Thanks a lot for the update...I'll try to check out the full details.
Honestly the polo is just becoming to expensive at this point I'll start buying Cherys and Havals
Did the TSI engine not increase to 85W output with the 2022 models?
I think thats only available on the R-Line or Life DSG. The Life manual and the entry-level are both 70kw
@@info_dash313 Ok, that makes sense. I got my Life DSG today and I recall the dealer mentioning 85KW output.
Is it possible to buy the armrest from polo for the base polo and how much is it?
Sadly you can't do that.
I am disappointed , one can't add simple arm rest .
Can I be able to add cruise control in base model ,?
I'm sure you can. You retrofit those, check on UA-cam just type retrofitting a center armrest in a polo tsi you will get a tutorial
I would love to put one on mine
When it will come to india
Wish we had the r line
It's coming in March according to VW
Some dealerships are saying it might come in march and some are saying August. The issue of R-line is just confusing.
Marr why did they put that smaller cluster with them ugly gauges on the life 💔…. Does anyone know a way on how I can get my hands on the cluster that is on the tsi 🙏
Polo Life for me. For ama2k
Sir would you assist me in buying the polo TSI life☺️
😁Assist you How my man?
Any idea how much will polo life with automatic DSG transmission cost?
No info on pricing at the moment, VW tends to share pricing info closer to the launch date of the cars.
I would go for the life because I like it's I interior better
Facelifted polo seems nice by l can get myself a Toyota cross 💗
