I remember listening to my mom and my aunt’s telling stories like these. I hated when it was time to go home. We usually visited until the sun came down. Driving down the dark roads from my aunts wooded area home to our house in the city. I remember having sleepless nights after our visits out in the boonies. 😮😮😮
Because Mexican and Native people are highly spiritual people. Our cultures highly embrace the spirit world, we experience a lot of paranormal events. Because of that we have the best ghost stories.
My great grandma was half native and her whole life she would tell stories about seeing things like duendes and being able to speak to the dead. It’s very true there are many things in native cultures as well as the mutual respect native culture has on the spiritual world that give spirits and the paranormal the ability to connect at ease.
I had an encounter with my ancestors when walking to el rancho in Cuba it was scary but it was beautiful you could hear the people with tambores and also marcas and stomping , when my mom was little she would go with her grandpa to get sugar canes to make juice right and she told me one time she was sitting down on a rock watching her grandpa this was back in the 70s and where our ranch house is located there’s fields on fields of sugar cane and our neighbors live kinda far so you don’t see people often so she’s sitting down and a couple of sugar cane rows bend down out of the nowhere and she told me her grandpa looked at her and she was looking around her grandpa grabbed her and took her home she couldn’t explain what made the sugar rows do that but it was a scary experience for her , another one is my grandpa is part Taino my family is part Taino so he practices Santeria when you have an ancestor done and you can summon him in so before my grandpa became that he was walking home he was like 18 to 19 he was coming from a town called macabi in Cuba it’s a bay like a beach people could swim at but the district for the school he was working at was located there so he was coming back from a conference but ot would take hours to walk home since there were no cars or trains at that time of the night his walking staying close to the street lights since it’s pure corn and sugar cane fields so his walking and he remembers someone walking behind he couldn’t see his face but he kept turning around to see if the person was still there they were and they starter walking faster my grandpa started walking faster then the last time he turns around he doesn’t see the person there but when he looks forward the person is on the next light infront of him so my grandpa ran home and never ate but went straight to bed after that like two years after my grandpa grandpa explained the Santeria and for him to do it to keep him safe , I have experienced creepy things here in the USA but I never really experienced any in Cuba I would have dreams of demons though and I would have so much deja vu and I was weak to mal de ojo ever week my grandpa had to cleanse me because I would get so many mal de ojos , yes I would watch the rituals for what we believe and our ancestors but I never took part on those rituals I would see shadows but they wouldn’t mess with me that’s why I never had an experience but I would see them there
I love how every time stories are told in Hispanic families is always in the kitchen setting and late at night lol this was so awesome! Family ties are thick, what a blessing !
Scary videos usually never scare me that much, but when you inserted that clip when they were talking about the little girl scared me so much I had to skip because it was so scary Lmaoo love your videos and can't wait for your podcast
Watching this in 2024. It brought good memories of when we'd get together for Christmas since we live in different states. Sharing stories, spooky or not, is a great way to get close again. 😊
Only time you were scared was when she came down with a belt at 3AM 😂😂 too funny and the first gear, second gear, third gear bit was hilarious! 🤣 thanks for the laughs and comfort of a family around the table. 🙌🏽
Hey girl, your whole family is so funny LOL. Damn that little girl at the cabin story gave me chills, I can't believe they went through that. I hope they eventually move on and find peace because it's sad knowing there spirits are still lingering around.
You can feel the love in this video. I LOVE ghost stories, especially when they were told by my Grandma, my mom and my aunts. They’re all gone now. Your family made me feel like I was there with you. Please do more videos like these. Love, your new fan in San Antonio, TX, who has a few stories of her own to tell! ❤️
Im not Mexican, im actually south Asian but I freakin’ love your videos. They’re so rich in culture and energy it’s lovely and scary as to watch them x much luve
I can’t explain the comfort I get from watching this video. I made my hot chocolate and curled up in bed to watch them and laugh and I really wish I had these moments. Thank you for sharing your family and their stories with us. ❤️
I’m literally so glad that YT brought me to this video! I’m native and grew up on the rez so we have a lot of spooky spiritual stuff happen. Seeing you sitting with your family telling these stories makes me miss doing the same with my mom and siblings ❤️ mom passed away a few years ago. We lived in a haunted house when I was a teenager and had to even do big ceremonies to get the spirits to stop harming us and our visitors. Our house was located on an old battleground and there were literally burial mounds right across the road from us. Huge war between the Sioux and Ojibwe over claims of the river. Bones everywhere. My stepdad is also a medicine man and I’ve seen him do some unexplainable things to help people. He also does funeral ceremonies and helps guide the spirit after they pass. He talks to people we can’t see and just knows things. I could write a damn novel on my experiences and my family lol
a core memory is sitting in my old best friend’s kitchen talking to her mexican mom about all her ghost stories. apparently i slept through poltergeist activity in their house one night and woke up to the house smelling like sage lol
I just discovered this video for the first time today. I genuinely want to say that regardless of what people believe, it's so beautiful to capture these stories from multiple generations. Sometimes I wish I had more time to record and converse with loved ones now gone.
Watching this, when your grandma mentions that the flu stopped after carrying the Saint all through the Pueblo. I wanted to say it was not only the Saint but everyone together in a collective consciousness of prayer and intentions to make it go away! That was a beautiful short story 🤍🙏🏼 together in our faith we are strong
i don’t know why this video was recommended to me never have i even heard of this channel but oh boy am i glad. this is so wholesome even tho you’re talking about scary things… i am so very drawn to family gatherings like these maybe because i didn’t get to have this experience with my grandparents but i love how funny the grandma and the aunties were. i felt as though i was sitting right besides them, any stories that’s from foreign lands are always the scariest and best i love hearing this i hope you make more. best wishes.
I love seeing stories being told this way, it feels more personal, like I’m there with you guys. I love how like nearly every video always has one fart. Y’all gas me up haha
When you said paranormal runs in the family, I related to that so hard. My family have also been pursued and my own mom was gifted to talk to spirits and such. Loads of my family members are believers and are also scared of the unknown that they’ve witnessed.
I don't know why but listening to scary stories being told by tia, and abuelita is just so comforting to me. I guess it's I miss my own. Overall your scary story videos bring me so much nostalgia and comfort when your friends and family members are involved and you guys seem to have such a good time together. Thank you!
These stories are so scary, also your grandma is so cute! I wish I had a good relationship with mine. Please do more stories like this with your family! 💕
That last bit with your grandma and nelly had me dying 😂😂. I wondered if maybe the cabins they were staying at had something to do with native land or something based on the indigenous girl and the horses they heard. Still scary though!
This is such a vibe talking with your fam, and when your mom came out with the cafecito☕ it took me back to when i would be listening to my mom and aunt talking at night with their decaf and pan dulce
Came for the scary stories, stayed for the coffee. Honestly, I had to stop the video to get coffee and a donut when your family busted out the coffee mugs! This feels like my own family/relatives/clan when they gather around to trade ghost stories. Goosebumps! Keep it up, you're doing great.
Thank you so much for that video, it bought back so many memories of my mom and dad who just pass away. When my family use to go visit our aunt's and uncle's in Juarez all the kids would all sit around listening to their stories just like y'all. Your grandma reminded me of my mom thank you again it's unbelievable how Hispanic people have so many crazy stories and I must say I loved everyone of those stories. So keep doing you and I will continue watching. Peace and love.
I swear y'all have the best ghost experiences to tell. You all really balance out the creepy with funny jokes 😂 I love these videos with your family, and I hope there's more to come!

Its always a good time when you upload Monica this was such a good video i felt so cozy and like i was sitting at the table with yall. The cabin experience your tia had gave me chills!
Found this video looking up Mexican scary stories, it reminds me of being a kid visiting my family just having fun outside with my cousins and at night our tios and tias would start to tell us stories of duendes and all the tales of when they were in Mexico. Just makes me feel comfortable and nostalgic hearing stories like this 👍
The cabin story scared me so much especially because I visualized (since I have a very vivid imagination) everything I couldn’t even imagine if I was in your aunts shoes 😣
