I think that's basically the "east-coast way". We're less concerned with the superficial so there's a lot less people walking around with the same face (e.g. Beverly Hills socialite...like there's only the one plastic surgeon). Jon and his wife Dorothea clearly has aged. But they are fine with it obviously. Jon's been around long enough...like The Boss (Springsteen)...so there must be enough wisdom. Or they would have faded away decades ago.
And luckily they didn't party away their health. Which happens to all who get sudden fame and lots of money. The Rock n Roll lifestyle. Some fall victim...even martial arts film stars. JCVD...did a lot of cocaine and he shows it in his slurred speech kind of. Takes him a few seconds to put thoughts together when fans stop him in the street for interviews...

Not only is Bon Jovi a superstar in the music industry, he's a superstar when in comes to marriage and commitment and I have always admired him for that. What a great couple.
He pretty much admitted in an interview once that he wasn't exactly faithful to his wife. It's highly unlikely. He once also said that he loved his wife, but he loved his money, too, and knew how much he'd lose if divorced.

I think to some extent the whole band shares that outlook. Most of them do stuff most people don't realize. Tico started the Tico Torres Children's foundation and supports Make - a-Wish. David works with Habitat for Humanity, Only Make Believe a d Music in the schools. Richie supports a number of charities and started 2 mobile hospice centers in honor of his father. The band as a whole supports a number of charities.. They are all very giving people

Married my 1st love only 23 yrs later when our schoolmates patched us back (We broken up in 1987).
2nd marriage for both of us. Will be 10yrs in 2020.
Our exes divorced us for someone else whom they eventually, did not marry.
My husband (then 1st bf) introduced me to rock bands including Bon Jovi in 1985. I appreciated that because, I still listen to old skool songs till now.

This world needs more couples like this.He never let his fame go to his head.Goodness knows Jon could have had any woman he wanted at the height of his fame but he stayed true to his high school love and remained faithful which is amazing when you consider the millions that threw themselves at him one time or another. Nice to see him embrace aging and showing you get more beautiful growing old when you share what you have with others. After its all said and done were all JUST PEOPLE' yes some are more famous and wealthy but were all put here to help each other .Thanks Jon' my admiration for you just went up even more.
They were married in 1989. He had a solid for five years of having any woman he wanted as they ascended to fame. I'm sure he had his fun.

I love bon jovi. He don't know it but he saved my life literally. I had health issues few years back had surgery. I got down bad. Drs even thought I wouldn't make it. Had home health nurses come out to my house few times a week to take blood, check my TPN etc had to have a physical therapist come to my house few times a week to help me learn to walk again. I literally was giving up, i got tired of fighting after 15 surgeries. One day my wife said I have 2 great seats to see Bon Jovi if you get better in time I'll take you to see him. Well 4 months later we was in the car driving 10 hours to Charlotte NC to see him. I still was weak and had to use a wheelchair and walker but I was fighting to get better. One day i hope i can meet him face to face and shake his hand and thank him.

I’ve been a HUGE Bon Jovi lover since high school (back in the 80’s) and after seeing this interview I think he is awesome all the more...I work in the film industry as a Makeup/Hair artist and have had people ask “How do you not get star struck” and I say because people are people...no one is more important than the other but if I ever did get star struck it would be in meeting Jon Bon Jovi....Great interview!!!

I remembered my best friend and first boyfriend got me listening to their band, during my teen years in the 90's. I noticed my late uncle was listening to them when i was a kid too. Now..Still listening to his song.
I got to meet Jon back when he was touring with then Presidential candidate Al Gore. He is one of the nicest, down-to-earth people I've ever met, celeb or not. The Philanthropy he and his wife are promoting is so cool.

As the wife of a career Sailor, and a lifetime fan, I thank you for both your activism for those that need help and for still touring. I was never able to see Bon Jovi growing up or as a young adult. I was a military wife and mother of three. Finally, This House is Not For Sale came out and you came to San Diego where we just happened to have been stationed, just before we were forced to move back home. I bought a ticket immediately. That concert was the most amazing experience. The classics mixed with the new. The energy was epic! It was bucket list worthy!! Had you stopped I’d never been able to experience it for myself. So......Thank You!! 🙌🏼💜✊🏼

Been a fan since the very begining. I saw every tour in Jersey, New York, Long Island in the 80's. If it was a three or four night stand in each state I had tickets for all the shows & never tired of the band. The only other group I did the same for was Journey. I am soooooo pleased to see Jon & his wife of 30 something years still together as man & wife these days that's just priceless.

I wish my mom was alive to see what a wonderful person Jon is! His music was just a few that my mother and I could listen to together and enjoy. As my mom laid there, with a few days left, I put the headphones on her and played Bed of Roses....

I like the analogy that Jon's '80s pictures were/are his 'baby pictures' professionally speaking. He may have been in his 20s then, but he easily could have been mistaken as being 5-10 years younger (especially pre - 'Slippery When Wet').
Love this couple. Together, they accomplish so much for the community and for each other's commitment to stay strong in their relationship. Everything about their philanthropy is what I honestly admire about them. The concept about feeding the less fortunate touched my 💙. I would love to someday do something like this for others. It would be nice if they opened up a restaurant here in my hometown so I could help them help others in need.
