I canceled my Mavic Enterprise Duel based on your last show with John McBride. Between the two of you, you guys made it sound like the Duel wasn’t good enough to take my kids temperature. I wasn’t about to spend $3000 on that, so I bought the Mavic Pro 2 instead and some additional batteries for my Phantom 4 Pro and my Inspire 2. At least I know I can do mapping with the Mavic 2 Pro. I’m the mean time I’ll wait till I can get the Matrice 210 with the XT. I’m glad I caught your show before I bought the Duel cause here in Ohio the average height of trees here is 100’ to 120’. Anyway another great show, thanks guys.
I think they don't post the prices on expensive items because the competitive pricing would fluctuate so much. And maybe also so they don't cause people to fall over when they see the price lol.
PROOF ONCE AGAIN drone U is a scam as these guys google this guys question only to find most people dont post sticker price on thermal (a "if you gotta ask you can't afford it" kinda deals) and the xt, and i assume the xt2 (its just a new Chinese pituitary gimbal for the I2 with the same sensors on the i1 and the xt, DJI just need to make sure nothing new is interchangeable with anything old to make sure you buy more and can't use any third pary kit), Both come in multiple (the same) quality sensors at different price points 6-15+. Inspire 1 and 2 both have their own respective gimbel options with the same way better sensors then the Dual on the mavic 2 but they make the older air frame cost way more cause they are way better sensor then on the Dual but is it the quality premium you actually need over the economy of the new optimized mavic Dual design well it comes down to the question of you image quality requirements you need and if you don't understand thermography of thermal camera enough to understand what you need to do the job its probably not a job you should be attempting to get into every drone nerd wants to work with thermal its seems the most accessible much like UAS with it low consumer model price points but unlike drones hasn't seen that translate into usable cost saving in the professional sphere besides search and rescue and even there is serves as more of a UAS and optics gimmick to sell kit to local municipalities. SHORT answer the fact your asking this question means you should really invest in neither cause this is work your clearly not qualified to do and investing in kit would just be asking to be taken coming and going. The REAL ANSWER you need an inspire 1 or 2 with best optic then volunteer your time as pilot and break even after a few years but mostly just get under cut by the guy who spent 40 bucks on a ladder and everything else on a real nice hand held thermal scanner.

PS the work with thermals on drones is with utilities requiring the real nice thermals and is a very narrow market with intermittent demand.
Thank you for posting this video. I had some of the same questions. This Very Much Helped. Thanks!
