Great to see Arthur's is back to its form I remember when I was a kid. It dropped off over the years and the fish condition wasn't the best. Will have to give it another go. The best thing about living in Tassie, trout lakes aren't far away. Very lucky down here. Great clip Starlo...Always..
Great little series, Steve! I know that fly fishing is very close to Jo's heart and yours too. It was great to see you both in your element with a variety of guides.
Great video Steve, geez I love my trout fishing. I started off on the salt back when I was a kid & didn’t get into trout fishing till the year 2006 when I was down at Jindabyne on a snow holiday. I swear it was the best thing I ever did!!! Catching those quality rainbows & browns since then has probably been the best period of my fishing life!
I grew up fishing Arthurs. As a kid the fishing was amazing, but it really dropped off as I got older. Haven’t fished it for years, so I’ll have to check it out again!
@@StarloGetsReel I remember in the late 90s and early 2000s fishing in cow paddock at last light with green and gold Tassie Devils or Ashley 14s you were pretty much guaranteed every evening to pull fish after fish out of the water and they averaged about 2.5lbs. Great to hear it's on the rebound!
What a wonderful trip. Good to see Arthurs Lake in such good condition again.
Nick is a fantastic guide.
He sure is!

Thanks! Yes, it’s so good to see it coming back strong after some slow years.

Thanks Frank. One more great episode to come in this series - hopefully this week.
Great episode. Good to see Arthur’s lake improving.
Thanks! Sure is. A former favourite on the rebound. Next couple of seasons should be rippers!
fantastic video guys, well done!
Thanks, Shane! 👍
