You’ve picked the best of the era here. I remember these fondly - a leap ahead in television animation. And the first CG we ever saw. Real showmanship here, too. Thanks for uploading.
OMG! This brings back so many great memories! Thank you so much for this! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! You just earned a new subscriber! :)
The NBC intro was the best! The CGI worked as the images literally came after you without 3D glasses. When I see this intro, I am reminded of the tv movie I taped as a kid in 85, "John and Yoko, a love story."

Like the other one where the film becomes the CBS logo. The graphics was more interesting. To me. The nbc intro is so sharp and clear! I like this intro!
The year was 1986 when those 3 happened like that. Didn't matter what day it was, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, KCNC-4. KMGH-7 & KUSA-9 were the stations in my hometown of Denver, Colorado. The year John Elway led the Broncos to the Super Bowl. I was only 2 years old at the time. CBS was on KMGH-TV Channel 7, NBC was on KCNC-TV Channel 4, ABC was on KUSA-TV Channel 9.
Sound and picture quality of the last one is not as good as the first two. Make that correction and you get an A plus for your choice of the best of the big three.
I wish all TV local stations would bring back the vintage lineup I am sick of all these stations Airing stupid reality TV shows like bachelorette dancing with the Stars , American idol just to name a few.

I feel like a frickin' kid again.... This brings back soooo many memories
When these intros came on things got serious and it was time to sit down, be quiet, and watch a movie.
Meh...we just VCR recorded, so we could fast forward the ads.
@@marcoparada6652 Meh ... We VCR recorded and Paused it during the ads so we wouldn't have to fast forward through ads
Sure the fuck was tome to get quiet! Born in 75 my man!
Grab your snacks from the kitchen cabinet, drinks from the fridge and lets watch a movie.
Back when TV was GOOD!!!
0:01-27 -My favorite #1 TV station theme intro song, as an Autistic kid in WCBS-TV Ch. 2 at NYC.
ABC introduced me to James Bond ❤
It used to be a big deal when a movie had its network premiere. Cable still only had a few movie channels available so the market wasn’t diluted.

These are amazing graphics for the 1980s.

I remember this then. I was a teen. ABC had the best one.

Those were the great day of my life
Can it be the 80s again, now?
Sure, if you can get a Delorean with a Flux Capacitor.
@@YouthFreedomFighters So much 80s packed into that totally awesome post!
ABC had the best one.
