Hawaii Five-0 Theme composed by Mort Stevens and performed by Keys of the Future age 11 for our Show Business Theme recital. Downloaded from the internet. Late elementary pop movie film.
Nice playing... The version in the beginning of the TV series sounded like it was in Gm/B key while this piano version is in Em/G. According to legend, some unknown name who was playing with a few tunes with a Ukulele on a beach came up with the catchy tune and was later adopted by CBS for the show.
This kid was a beginner who worked very hard to be able to play this piece. I'm proud of his effort and that he fought his nerves to play it in public. Not the best performance of this piece but I celebrate his personal victory. If you've ever worked hard to learn a piece of music and play it in front of people, you'll know what I'm talking about.
@@vivacepianostudio coincidentally I play often in front of people piano. But for you I changed my comment a little bit. Nice if he is happy about it, but I personally wouldn´t make it public until it isn´t at least close to very good.
Thank you for that. It's never helpful to be crush children. You and I are professionals who play in front of people all the time, we would expect our performances to be perfect with appropriate expression. Our personal standards must be way higher than a beginner. I know what you are saying about public performances but when teaching children, you have to know their capabilities and celebrate their successes. He played all the correct notes at a steady tempo-real victory for him!
One more thing: Wondering why I put it on UA-cam? His grandparents live very far away. This gave them the opportunity to see his performance and be supportive of his playing. He quit lessons many years ago but his family still can view his achievements and reminiscence. A big moment in his life.
Well done ! ❤
cool!
