That grandfather is amazing, he notice something was wrong and he said something. That woman is very lucky to have a father like him and he have a big heart for his daughter. We need more man like him on this planet.
A real man not a boy.
Hopefully she doesn't take that loser back!
There’s a special place in heaven for people like that who’d protect those they love especially the children
THIS THE ONE!! i
I agree he is awesome
"you have to make mistakes, but not big ones." Words of wisdom
You can really tell he’s a good man.. Her and her daughter is so lucky to have him!!
So inspirational
@@Lloyd_Will it proves that schools don't teach what's most important in life. He's a very emotionally intelligent man, and he probably saved his daughter and grand-daughter from years of abuse by speaking up.

That grandfather is a beautiful soul. He mentioned not having an education but he's the smartest one on that stage ❤
I agree He is socially intelligent he knows the difference between right and wrong
Who’s the deceased painter from pbs?
@@patrickruth153 trying to say he looks like Bob Ross? I can see a little bit of a resemblance 🤣
@@aubrey1633 yeah thanks
@aqua snek My dad used to say that I was intelligent but I had no commonsense. When I look back, I actually agree with him!
I feel bad for the grandfather, but also have such respect for him. He is caring, loving and protective. Plus he doesn't want his daughter to make the same mistakes. He might not have an education, but he is smarter than any deadbeat father out there.
Fucking right! I wish I had someone like him. Unfortunately my father passed but he was just like this man
I agree with you completely Simon
Perfectly said
All facts..
What's education got to do with it? This is love..no education needed....James girl needs to love herself!..and most importantly love her baby! Go James l adore you.. Right is right..wrong is wrong.. Heather go get your grades..and you can be all that you dream of!.....as for "it".. shack trash.. bury it under Lyme and concrete.. yes you bully boy Jonathan.. I said it!
I love how Steve dealt with this. Also, we need more people like that grandfather.
I was just about to type: *GOOO GRANDPA GOOOOO* but ya beat me to it. I could tell, almost *IMMEDIATELY* that the grandpa was indeed telling the truth & I'm not sure if it's because I'm a mother myself, good instincts OR a combination of these two things BUT my point is that no matter what risk of losing his daughter that may have been there, he did right by his granddaughter WHICH she's going to remember as she gets older.
Sorry for the long reply BUT I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt the pain that the grandpa did........ya know what I mean??! 👍🙂
the way that man spoke, that's a rolemodel right there. and he calls himself 'uneducated'. he did the right thing and thank goodness the daughter appears to have seen the light. f*ck that tubby, hope he got some karma.
That grandfather that’s a man, proof that you don’t have to be book smart like our world wants people to be with things like jobs where you have to have a degree to get the bigger better jobs. He’s got something that the world today doesn’t common sense. He stood up for his grand daughter he saw the fat guy for what he is. You know he did it the way he ran on stage. Hopefully the lady is getting help that she needs & hoping that grand daughter gets to enjoy a normal life instead of some fat guy smacking her for crying.
I hope Jon Jon is in a prison cell where he belongs a child cries, child walks away, a child messes things up in the house. Just cause that kind of stuff happens doesn’t give him the right to abuse a child.
@@patrickgray5633 Absolutely right. I learned a lot of great things while I went to college to be able to do what I do at work NOW & as a matter of fact, I just celebrated my 25th year of working for the same company just a couple of days ago which was Tuesday July 6th ( 2021 ) but as much as I had learned, the real world experience is really what allowed for me to advance my way through the company to senior management of operations. With that being said, I hope you have a great weekend ahead. Take care!!!!!!!! 😁👍🍻😊
@Aiden Davorin You are so right. He is one of the greatest grandfathers ever. I wish that all children were blessed enough to have a father/grandfather like him.
Grandad gives off major Jesus Christ/ guy from the BeeGees energy. Looks like he can perform a miracle while singing something soulful at the same time.

Daaaaang! You said EVERYTHING that could have been said and you did it for EVERYONE! THANK YOU! 🤟🏻✝️💝
this makes so much sense omg
Yes 😂
This is what being a real man is supposed to be like. No man is perfect, but a real man protects his own, and he stands up for what's right..no matter the circumstance.
Yes!! 👆❤️
That’s exactly what I just commented. This guy knows what’s up at all times when it comes to his family.

That grandfather said he didn't want his daughter to go through the same struggles he did for not putting in the effort to get an education, but this man has more wisdom in his words and more knowledge in his thoughts than anyone I've ever seen on this show. This man is amazing.
I agree. It would be an honor to have him as a father.
ABSOLUTELY HE HAS KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM .I THINK HE IS VERY INTELLIGENT
i feel as if some people who dont have their education are actually really smart and wise ( some not all ) but most definitely people like him are needed more in the world
Yes indeed.

Just tellin it like it is.
he ate that insult 😭
He is telling the truth though he is the best grandfather ive ever seen on this show he protected his granddaughter and hope jon jon goes to jail and stays there
That daughter should be thrilled her Daddy loves her so much, and he may not be "educated" but he has more morality and character than so many other people! His granddaughter is lucky to have him & Grandma in her life.
Exactly! And even though it's her step dad, he loves her like a daughter, and she loves him like a father. They may not be family by blood. But they are family by heart ❤️
Education and morality are not equated to eachother
Why even mention his education, its irrelevant
It wasn't hard AT ALL for me to believe the grandfather. If nothing else the other guy's aggressive opening lends A LOT of credibility to his story
How he walked out basically proved the grandfathers story
@@zetsokuro2614 No kidding.
yup
He sounded like he wanted to rile the grandfather up and realized it wasn’t working and that he dun goofed
this genuinely brought me to tears. that grandfather is amazing. he knew what that baby was telling him and he knew he had to take it seriously. thank the allfather for men like him.
I can't lie im crying as I type this
Great dude...
That grandfather is brave and smart. Good on him for doing all the right things.
Yea, he's a very good man.
Education or not that’s an extremely intelligent man. He understand humans better than most and knew the baby was hurt and knew that guy was garbage.
right. don't have to be a college graduate to be an intelligent person. he's smart. very smart
I'd love to see this family back. That's grandfather is a damn hero, and everyone should look up to this example. And he's completely right. You're allowed to make mistakes, but sometimes mistakes yell in your face not to do them.
he looks and sounds like he belongs in a 1950s cowboy movie

I don’t know how Steve had the control to not smack some of these predators.
I totally agree! I'd have beaten chunk to a pulp if he hurt my daughter or her daughter when she's old enough to have kids. The way John John came out.... He'd have gotten a palm to the base of his nose straight away. I'd be on TMZ over murder charges for it for sure now so this daughter is so lucky that her dad loves her and her daughter enough to make a big move like this. My mother is the female John John sadly 🤦♀️
I agree too. I would of lost it.
He got a lot of his discipline from the Marine Corps.
@@taylorramerth2400 That's what I was gonna comment. His training in the Marines.
Getting paid tons of money and not wanting to risk being sued and losing his show helps.
Great dad and I didn’t say step dad cause he’s better then a lot of grandparents and parents. Defend the innocent!! No child deserves to be physiologically, physically or sexually abused. It’s up to responsible adults to protect our most precious assets, our children. 💜💜💜
You're absolutely right. I don't call my dad my step dad because he's been there for me where my biological father wasn't.
My step dad raised me always called him dad I used to call my real dad by his name. He always told me believe in yourself do what’s right not what’s easy
the future is in our hands bruv
A blessing to have a 2 dads that love you like I have. I met my biological dad at 18 he’s in my life and children life but my dad is the man that has been there since I was a baby. Thank you to all good men that step up!!
I could listen to the grandfather’s voice all day. Nothing short of a saint, this man.
That grandfather is a real father
I love how the grandpa says “maybe I’m wrong, BUT I’m doing right to stand up for the child” Nothing like “then… I’m really sorry and I will not have something against you later”
He was just doing his job. Be a great dad and grandpa.
I hope the daughter fix the school and leave that “man”. 🙏❤️
I knew the grandfather wasn’t lying right away, you can see the pain and hurt in his face out of worry for his granddaughter and daughter. He seems like a great man.
I remember this episode when it aired, that grandfather's passion and love for his family was unforgettable
Also, when the grandfather passed, he said “you done mess with a wrong son of a bitch”!
This guy is going on about how he didn’t get a education but he’s one of the most intelligent men I’ve ever seen, so much wisdom, this is amazing to see, we need more people like him in this world
You can tell he feels the need to overcompensate. But he really is so smart and kind.
He went from "I never touched her." To "She told me I could smack her on the butt."
Also he was LITERALLY wearing a "wife-beater" undershirt....
“I’m gonna tell you something, John John, the way you came out here, that doesn’t impress me none at all.”
Very well said (seriously).
Chile that made me applaud so hard. This grandpa is a rockstar
I don't think that ANYBODY watching this thought that the grandfather was lying. John John's results are ALSO not a surprise!!!
He needs to be in jail for the rest of his fat and miserable life

James, the grandfather, is a good man. Wish I had a father like him. He gives me intense Bob Ross vibes, in all honesty. So glad he got his word out and that sick excuse of a boyfriend was called out.
Now that’s a real father. Always there to protect his children.
God bless this Grandfather/Father he's a good soul and the world needs more people like him.
I wish I had a dad who cared for me like her dad does , that’s a great man !
Facts I never had a dad like that or a mom like that
Right lol?! My dad and I have not talked in years and neither one of us cares lol
@Steven Darkins I do. & so do a lot of people.
I just want to make the point to say that the only reason that man probably doesn't have an education is because back then it was very common for men to drop out to help take care of their family. He's an awesome man and we need more like him!
Very true! He reminded me of my father who only has a 8th grade education bc he had to drop out to work and help his mom with his little sister's. Those kind of mmen are men !!
She wants NOTHING to do with him anymore. I believe her that she didn't give him permission
I believe her too. I just could tell by her demeanor
The evidence seems to indicate that he was going to take everyone down with him if he had to be caught. What a gutless man.

This was probably one of my favorite episodes. Not for the baby, but the grandfather was so adamant and he knew something was wrong. And the love he has for his daughter was fantastic.

Why does some of these shows have me in tears?I am glad that James past his lie detector test,as for the bully boyfriend he's a coward for hitting a 2 year old girl
No parent should allow their boyfriend or girlfriend to discipline their child because the child is not biologically theirs.
Facts.
Exactly you are so right
I don't believe this is true. My stepfather used to look after me while my mom was at work or doing something before they got married. I was a troublesome child. His idea of discipline was was always just calm talking out the problem. I think if a parent allowas their boyfriend/girlfriend to discipline their child they would have to set boundaries.
I also think that the guy was leaking deception when he couldn't convince anyone he didn't do it by trying to find a way out. I don't think she allowed him to discipline her child but he's trying to say that so he has a reason for failing.

Grandpa is the little ones voice
Granddad is amazing person. You don't have to have an education to know right from wrong. You don't have to have an education to love and protect those you care about. He's doing right by his daughter in more ways than 1. Making sure she goes back to college so she can have better than what he had and also protecting his little grandbaby. I applaud dad.
The grandpa is so sweet, it's completely obvious that he is the good guy
Get to know them before you trust your kids with them. Father or not same with unfit mothers make sure they are right and won't hurt or abuse them. She needs to leave him I feel for the daughter
Grampaw is a good dude.. thee need to be more like him in the world .. his daughter needs a wakeup call to avoid further relationships that end in the abuse of her child or herself
The grandfather is amazing I hope to be like him one day, strong, brave and lovely all in one, very rare!!
The woman is the one at fault for allowing it. She knew how aggressive he was. The truth is that some women see this aggression as attractive and masculine until it gets out of their hands. The red flags and signs were definitely there considering his aggressive behavior on stage. So women take note, what you see here is a BOY but that father is a real MAN.
are a guy? You sounds like one. Or like a woman with great parents who have been there for you all the time, believe in you and picked you up when you go to wrong people or do stupid choices.
You don’t know her. Didn’t you see how sorry and sad she was in the end? And she was thanking her dad for getting the help?
You should point your finger at the guy who hit that child and blaming him.
She didn’t do a good choice when she thought the guy told the truth. She wanted to believe. She was naive. Don’t shame people who needs help. The guy should be ashamed and blame.
I don’t know her. I don’t have kids. But I have been in really bad relationships and doing so much stupid things. And I really wish someone picked me up.
I was broken down and allowed people go over me. And I didn’t know HOW to change that.
So I feel really sorry for that mum. I think she did what she could. Even if that wasn’t enough this time.
And I’m happy for her that her dad saw all this and fight for her and her daughter.

Man that woman and little girl are so lucky to have such a wonderful father figure. I wish so many people including myself could experience that.
This woman and her daughter are so incredibly lucky to have this man in their lives. Not only was he willing to tell his own daughter she was wrong to defend his grandchild but he did it in such a respectable way not once belittling his daughter and just telling her he wants her to do right. We need more men like this but unfortunately there’s an abundance of her abusive ex’ type out there.
That grandfather is a very wise man. Thank God he protected his granddaughter. Jonathan's abuse would only have gotten worse over time.
This is why grandfathers are the best(most of the time). They stand up for their grandchildren when they need it the most.
Also, I love the grandfather's accent. It is weirdly soothing for some reason.
