tests will run to the PUBLIC on 26th of November 2023 from 8am to 11am. I will not be able to film it but For more info, visit here: www.stirling.wa.gov.au/leisure-and-culture/arts-and-events/events-calendar/jump-on-board-the-trackless-tram I also filmed it without the plastic tarp thing, watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/P0S28HfBeCo/v-deo.htmlsi=kjDyqsNNvfu9gS7I
I believe the city of Stirling was going to test it in the car park before hand. I'd look into it, but it sounds like it will happen in November and the public can view it.
Nah, probs gonna do it up north, you can ride it during testing for 950 bucks, which I’m certainly NOT doing. And yes, testing will commence in November which I won’t be able to see sadly

@@leo1933? This isn’t a tram? A tram has steel wheels on steel rails. Brisbane metro is not a tram, it’s a BRT. Oh wow, it is going to be fun to watch moving along Scarborough Beach Road
It will be! Though I’d rather prefer it to be an actual tram with steel wheels and steel rails
I saw this on a big truck, it had the same wrapping it was going to the station. I SAW IT YAYAYYA
Awesome!
YAY
I never knew this!!
I saw it on a truck on saturday morning
A bus LARPing as a tram

What is the difference between a trackless tram and a bus?
Good question… I don’t really know, it had a guideway (same as a guideway bus) it’s electric and (same as an electric bus) so I don’t really know.
does it matter?

I will try, though when they’ll start testing it, I won’t be in Perth. So I won’t be able to film the first set of tests!

I wonder why they would put a bi-articulated bus out in the open like that, instead of, say, Karrinyup bus depot?
It’s because it’s privately owned by the City of Stirling, Transperth won’t be operating it
