Shouldn’t loose any on these pipes as they still have the sneaky crossover as standard. If anything it’ll be a power gain from removing the cat. You loose power when you loose the 2 into 1 crossover
Make I'm looking into getting the cat removed from my fatbob exhaust, what does it sound like in person, as you can never tell on video. Is it loud and does it sound like a Harley should, I've got the rinehart slip on mufflers plus the bike is stage 3 so it would sound a bit different.
It’ll sound proper!!!! Get them cats removed. All that power that’s being bogged down :( It won’t sound like a proper Harley with the cats on that’s for sure With them off it’ll be a deep gurgle 👌🏻
@@MakaJerycho 👍👍cheers maka, getting it sorted with a cut who's local up here in Preston, keep the videos coming, always great to watch, you've got a great crew down there,
Please mate I’m looking to remove the cat from my 114 ci fatbob well my question is does it affect the motorcycle I mean the power will it increase or decrease or any damage could happen for the engine with time ? Also I added a performance filter I’m really thirsty to hear a better sound
I have this exact motorcycle. Are you willing to share the information on the lengths of the pipes you modified? I am in Virginia USA. I would like to keep my pipes but this type of mod looks to be more than I can do myself. You boys are over in England I shall guess. How much did you charge your customer for this conversion? Thanks for any info you can share. Dave
Was a few years ago can’t remember what the exacts where But any independent shop that can fabricate could do this for you. Length of pipes where just to replace the original cat converters.
@@MakaJerycho Thanks Mate, I found a shop not far from me I am hoping can do the job. Sold the guy who owns the shop a Buell about twenty years ago, gave him a great price so hopefully he will return the favor. I looked at several videos on this and most were just plain janky. Your's was spot on and the info and welds were beautiful.
Will i get any warning lights on the clocks once the cats have been cut out .
Great job you guys did
This was a few years ago
Not quite sure if there was
Off top of my head there wasn’t
The decat has made hell of a difference thanks you lot we’ll impressed I’ll be back 😂😂😜👍
Love the fat bob exhaust sounds great Benny👍
MrStilleto cheers meht does dunnit 😂👍
Hi great video….. did the bike need tuning after? Ie v&h FP3? As the after cat sensor will pick up a change
I think this did have a retune afterwards yes
Liking the 48 too bro. Same indicators and break light as mine. Nice tank lift would make the lines flow nice as well 🤣
Nice one Maka , always like the B&H footage , looks a great place to work.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Very cool. Love what the guys do down at B&H. Entertaining as always too Maka. Cheers
You need to come visit
Nice job guys. The loudness of the sound is comparable with a full system like v&h bigshots or shortshots?
Pretty much
The cats removed allow it to free flow like a full system
How about the idle sound? Increases the sound withtout the catalyst?
@@rafaelonetta94 yes very loud and not obscene
Then pipes sound epic bro! Nice work BnH. 👌🏾
Great video and sound from Fat Bob! May I ask, did you noticed any lack of torqu or HP becuase of exhaust mod? new tuning needed? tnx and Regards!

It will increase flow and performance
You will need to tune the ecu
