Ruislip's very own pathway to finding a new and exciting love for dancing bachata. Whether you're already an experienced dancer or totally clueless, don't worry we've got you covered!
We hold intensive 2hr classes for three separate levels and three different days weekly, but which one is right for you?
• Tuesday "improvers" 7-9pm
Our Tuesday class is appropriate to individuals with at least 8-16 weeks of consistent practice and classes. Time doesn't always translate into level, for this class you should have already come to grips with the basics and feel a sense of understanding in timing, basic musicality and the fundamental rhythms of bachata. You must already be relatively confident in a campana step, Madrid step, box step as well as basic turn patterns. We will be taking your body movements and isolation to the next level in these classes and step by step, building those aspects of your dance vocabulary.
• Wednesday "Intermediate" 7-9pm + open social til 11pm
Our much loved Wednesday group has been with us since day #1 and is now the most advanced group that we have but we wouldn't consider it to be "advanced" as I believe that truly advanced intricacies and details of dance can only really be effectively obtained and felt in private lessons.
On Wednesdays we cover many aspects sensual technique, fusion movements, syncopated footwork, and build on your individual style, doing our best to inspire more in-depth understanding/implementation of musicality.
• Thursday "beginners" 7-9pm resets every 8-16 weeks
On Thursday we drill and ingrain the fundamentals right from the very top, each 8-16 weeks we introduce a new batch of eager beginners to the crazy, exciting and welcoming world of bachata at A2B Bachata Academy.
