Terrific video. Great job family ❤❤❤
Thank you Cathy!!! Ruby is loving her jacket so much!!! She needs it, it was 20 degrees out this morning!!! Yikes!!!
Seems like "brownies"is the magic word at your place. Good video and some beautiful weather too. Had to start up the wood stove 3 days ago in western Va. so winter close for us too (but nothing like yours LOL)
Well there is something always neat about starting up the wood stove again....not sure quite what it is yet! But I always enjoy it
We are cooking on top of our wood stove too
This is fun to do. Can be challenging as well though!
Yes we all love the brownies ( too much)!
Thanks for watching us!
Grumpy McStumpson is my name entry.
Love the videos and I hope you don’t get too much snow.
Ha, love that!!! Yes I agree, we need more time without snow! The seasons are so short here...I miss Oregon because you would have so much time to get projects done! ( there were actually 4 seasons there)
Oh well, love it here better though overall
Thanks for watching!😊
YOUR THE FIRST I SEEN SENDING GIFTS TO SOMEONE. REALLY SWEET OF YOU. I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS 😊
Oh thank you!!! Well we appreciate our vewiers. 😊
Yea, I’m almost fifty two years old and am a single mom to five kids, four boys and a daughter and my dad, uncle and papaw owned a logging company here in Kentucky in the county we’re still living in actually, and he would have appreciated this video and he also would have considered the y log a nemesis, lol, but yea, this video reminded me of the logging days at the sawmill and hauling wood, chopping wood, etc. , but thank y’all for sharing, it was great
Oh wow...I bet we would have liked him.
Yes the Y log was a bit tricky...
Hopefully we will get to mill that out one day.
Sounds like you are a busy lady!
Well hopefully you are enjoying our videos.
Thanks for watching us!😊
Brady was rocking it today. Great video. I pray the snow holds off till you feel prepared if there is such a thing. lol
Well thank you. For a 17 year old he does pretty good overall....
He is sassy but also always wants everyone to be happy.
Yes the snow can just wait a hot minute and arrive in December! Lol
Oh well, it's a crazy state...I have learned mother nature always wins here.
Don't even try... she is the boss!
This was a wonderful video! I’m sure your viewer will LOVE her package from you! Brady, you did a great job with all those logs!!! I think the guy in red looks like a Norwegian fisherman. So he should be named Sig Hansen. He’s an American/Norwegian fisherman. 😁And I haven’t made brownies in forever until I started watching your videos. I’ll have you know, a batch is cooling as we speak, and I added mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts in mine! Love to your family!! ❤️🐸🥰
Oh yeah for homemade brownies!!! They sound even better with mini marshmallows and extras!! Yum.
Love the Sig Hansen name, I will look that up.
Thanks for watching us😊
@@Alaskan6pack he was/is a captain on that deadliest catch show. About catching king crabs.

Looks like your channel is picking up some steam, happy to see. Nice video
Thank you for watching!

Love those alaska products
Yes they are very cute!... Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks!
Oh Carol, you are sweet.
Thank you so much!!!
Looks like a green light for more brownie supplies!!! 😊
My suggestion: Father Woods
Oh I do like that. It is almost like he is a keeper of the woods...silent watcher
Thanks for sharing your name!
I think he looks like “ the observer “…, or “ red yoda “, …. We enjoy the videos, have a blessed day guys 😊
Oh I love "red yoda" ! So great. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Good job with the video. How's Brady's business going? Soon you will be working inside the cabin finishing the walls. Big progress 😊
Thank you. Yes hopefully next is inside siding...! It was 20 degrees F this morning..
Getting cold!
We love the mittens!
Are the kids going to get the icon ski pass for Christmas so they could go skiing or snowboarding all year❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the bird houses. Do y'all make them I would buy one if you do.
No we didn't. They were from a gentleman that passed away.
They were headed to the dump and Jeff said no way, let's keep those!
So a little patching, and they work great
Semantics!
Ha...very fitting!! Thanks for sharing 😊
The cutter on your splitter is a single wedge plane ,cutting a round in two pieces. Is there a cutter shaped like a plus sign? That would cut a round into four pieces doubling your output.
Ah ha....yes that's a great idea!! That would definitely save some time on the splitter. Great idea!
How about the Guardian of the Woods, or Spirit of Freedom? Or the Harbinger of Change.
Oh very creative....I like those!!!
He does look like he is watching out over the forest...great names!
donald Grump is the name greetz from the netherlands, europe.
Funny! Thank you for watching us!...
Why did you toss the split wood on the ground and later bend over to pick it up and put it in the wagon? Just curious!
I needed the exercise! Lol...
Thanks for watching!
Jack frost. Willie nelson red headed stranger
Love it. Thank you for sharing!!!😊
Grumpelstiltskin.
That's my favorite so far I think! 😊
Why don't you place the wood from the splitter straight into the trailer. Better still into a storage cage so no more handling. Far less handling.
Yes, you are 100% correct!
Next time I will do that.
More productive that way, I agree!
Roger Rudolf
Nice! He does look like a Roger!
I'm really getting tired of all these videos where single and families are opting to move out into remote areas with no plan, other than chopping down the forest to warm their butts, to include reliable heating sources to heat their house. Chopping down the forest will come back and take a bite out of your butt. Put in a solar system, a windmill, burn fuel etc.
Multiple sources of heating are required including firewood fuel is expensive and it freezes and can run out if you're snowed in. I live in Wisconsin I know about getting prepared for winter and I have central heating but I do have other options, as this hardworking family does❤
Well I’m pretty sure they aren’t hooked up to gas mains for central heating, a windmill/ solar ? Does that generate heat or electricity ??? Certainly it enough to use fan heaters 24 hours a day. I think you’ll find if you fell half an acre of wood land from 200 acres of land by the time you use 4-5 acres (8-10 years worth) the half an acre will be growing back making firewood extremely self sustaining. Don’t forget roads and tracks have a good chance of being blocked for 3/4 months of the year. Trouble is most people live in this “Amazon world” not everything is on next day delivery.
