Remember they run by the milliseconds too. As well as any other rules that may have been in it (idk the speedrunning rules as far as traveling between battle locations). So we do have to consider that. But damn still really quick as well as an epic track

I'm not sure but it didn't count somehow as a faint (I mean) ?
@@pengtuck I'm guessing it's because he dies by the burning ground effect, and he dies just 0.1Sec after the monster that the game doesn't even have time to lock the health bar?
And technically you can't even hurt yourself after you kill/capture the monster, so it makes sense the faint doesn't count?
@@計海藍 Yes aware he should be dead. What we can't really tell is the exact timings since the game doesn't say so (not that it needs to). Just quirky I guess :D

You know a monster is powerful when Vycery has to restock and break out the Temporal.
Not really powerful, the field shift and the slime puddles did the damage, the monster missed like 98% if it's attacks.

@@tamago9026 It DOES have a relation with speedruns. Knowing what the monster does, how it behaves and which thing its weak to is a HUGE advantage over someone who goes in blind in patch day. The same will happen with Alatreon because veterans have been fighting the monster for some gens noq

That music is frontier-level in terms of epicness. Legit, when I heard the first seconds of it durings Canta's fight against it, I thought Canta had put a Frontier monster's theme to replace the bracchy one. And then I recognised a few parts of the brachy theme in that epic second phase theme, and I was amazed. Gg Capcom.

Just FYI there is a setting on the quick wheel to craft "all" so you dont have to mash the craft button during battle.
i also did just noticed that yasterday lol.. its been a while since ive used ranged weapon.. last time was Extrem Bahemoth.. for 4 man cluster lol

@@5at5una hm, looked like a glitched out faint to me. Basically he should have carted before he killed the monster. Might have to do with i-frames here. Awesome stuff though :D.
@@info0 its not a glitch.. brachy hit the player which leave with like 1% hp left and the brachy goop kills the player.. you can see that goop trickling player hp before that if they stay in it
@@5at5una hm I thought that Brachy tail swipe would have killed the player with 1/3 of HP left haha.
If he hanged onto that 1% of HP he was lucky lol.

Bow is god. Literally the most fun iteration of bow gameplay in any game I've played and for ONCE it has competitive clear speeds. As a bow main MHW satisfies all my cravings :')

TDS, in ur opinion, is World/Iceborne easier or harder than previous Monster Hunter games? I’m currently trying to figure out Generations Ultimate, but it’s not the easiest for a new player to start off on
Overall MHW is a bit easier than MHGU or MH4U which isn't necessarily a bad thing. MHGU definitely is a challenging one!

I think Capcom needs to try harder at making monsters that Team Darkside can't speedrun. This was a crazy sick run made me want to pick up now again.

Does anti-blast help with the dot when standing in the slime during the final phase? That looks more annoying than Luna's blue flame pot.
so, are they also using blast blight immunity, or does raging brachy's ulti create lava instead of blast? nonetheless the cat's fireworks really added to that volcanic eruption look.
Spamming craft power coating? Do you know there's a craft all option? Just makes it quicker but there's probably some disadvantage I don't know of.
TDS hunting videos is just IRL monster hunting being recorded for UA-cam. I mean come on! This has to be what real Monster Hunters look like, guiding the battle like a feisty dance.

I have no issue playing like that for 30s but afterward I do a mistake or two or three^^. The things that are key are the grappling timing, none have been missed and it was amazing, using the slinger rain at the right moments(basically when you know you'll be a bit short on next opening) and obviously the stamina management, wich basically implies the secondary attack and precise timings during the weaving to maximise stamina regen while attacking and not triggering slinger rain when not needed. Keep in mind that in non speedrun environnement, you kind of still play like that, except you can use statuses arrow as well. However bow is very nervous and active anyway, and it is a chore in multiplayer as well.
